Kept seeing this restaurant in the fond du lac group. So decided to stop here since we were in town for gymnastics. The food was amazing. The kids loved filling up their root beers. Prices were just ok. Just a side of plain fries were $5 which seemed high. I also didn't like having to order at the kiosk. It held up the line a lot. read more

Delicious, once again! We ordered the Midwestern, the Grim Feast, and the Beyond B. Service was fast and friendly as usual. The restaurant was busy and the team wasn't phased. It was clean and orderly and as patrons would finish, the tables were cleaned/bussed right away. Nice job!!! read more

Was here for a trip and stopped in while walking around later at night. Great decor and cutest environment and some of the most friendly staff I've seen in a long time. Such a warm inviting place. The food was beyond fantastic and took very little time to get. I wanted to try everything on the menu and will be stopping in again next time I'm in town. read more

Highly recommend! This was the perfect eatery for us. The food was absolutely delicious, the root beer on tap was spot on, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, in a great location, and filled with bright windows that really lightened the space. Exactly what we were looking for--and then some! read more

Hamburger and chips are fantastic. Yesterday I had a hot dog with relish. The "relish" was neon green with zero flavor the "fried" onions are sautéed onions. The bun was garlic bread delicious. But the hot dog was nauseating. And the cheese on the hot dog? A slice of American torn up and not melted. read more

We had ordered online for the first time today and not sure how we feel my wife had ordered a bowl and ordered no onion and there was onion on her bowl and she had ordered ranch with her salad and there was no ranch. They were busy but that doesnt mean overlook things with someone's order. Thank you! read more

The service was phenomenal and the staff helpful on the first time there. One of the best burgers I've had along with truffle fries. Highly recommend if you're in point read more

We thought this was supposed to be gormet burgers? For the outrageous price it should have been. We both got the mushroom swiss burgers. They were tasteless! Awful! Never wasting our money again. read more

Tried a new spot in Stevens Point Wi called the Big Garlic let's start out it's kinda of hidden near the Square . Really small inside but there is seating just wish they had a ice machine for that awesome Point Rootbeer !!! The food is Amazing this would be a great take home food just because how small it is. Only thing I can find why not a five Ice machine for drinks also the can mushroom's on my burger would love fresh shrooms instead of can but still a great burger plus if they had a spot to put the tshirts and a lot more sizes we would have bought a bunch of shirts !! But overlook my pickiness this place is a must !!!!!! read more

I have ordered burgers and hot dogs in the past and have never had a bad experience. The food always arrives correctly and in good shape. Last weekend, I had my first trip to the actual restaurant and loved the place. It is easy to use their online ordering. Even with ordering using my phone instead of a waitress we had wonderful service. We were checked on multiple times by friendly and lovely employees. The food was beyond amazing. I love the jalapeño popper burger. The chips are also fantastic and I love that you can select different flavors. The fountain beers and root beer is a great touch. read more

We split a burger and truffle fries, which were delicious. We ordered from our phone at the table and the food was brought to us. The staff was very friendly and polite and the space was clean and comfortable. You bus your own table when done, easy and quick. We will go back. 4 stars because I don't consider some of the self serve features warranted 5 stars. read more

Outstanding burger! We found this place on Yelp as we were driving through. While it's a few minutes off of the highway, it's worth the trip. The owner was super friendly and helpful. You could tell he wanted customers to have a good experience and enjoy their meal. The chilled root beer mugs were a nice treat too! We wished we would have tried the chips, but the fries were pretty good. We are already talking about stopping the next time we drive through Stevens Point. read more

No complaint other than they changed their meat so now the burgers are smaller. Back in October the meat patties were bigger.

The food smells amazing. The service is friendly and on point. The atmosphere is very welcoming, clean and nice.

My husband and I eat here every week. The Big Garlic's array of sandwich choices is impressive & they offer unique toppings one does not find at other places. The staff is always friendly, even when they are slammed, & as a customer service lifer, I can't let this go unacknowledged. We love the Midwestern burger, the nacho fries, & the wildly convenient online ordering on Toasttab. Huge fans, 100%. "Hyuge!" read more

Yelp rarely let's me down, it is experenices like these that I love the App. Stopped in at this new burger place and had the Western and Truffle Fries. Everything was done well, the burger was fantastic, not to big with a light toast on the bun, the fries are an up charge vs. The chips but worth every penny. Location wise is a tiny bit confusing, they are in the back of the building throgh a side door, minor issue. Everyone working was very friendly, I'll be back any time I am in Stevens Point. read more

Lestat, Orpheus, Dracula, Drusilla, and Baobhan Sith are only a few of the countless sanguisuges one could encounter in the depths of the old dungeons within the Stevens Point underground. The shyness of light corridors offer up prime real estate for those seeking a darker way of life. So one must wonder why any establishment would choose to stand their ground and continue the fight against the resident blood-sucking annelids known to linger in the shadows. Was it the lure of fortunes? Or perhaps the desire to quench their own thirst for the American Dream? Regardless of the motivation, their first line of defense is blatantly obvious and has a good chance of success on its own. However, a higher win probability could be achieved with some minor diversification in the future. Although quite tasty, and certainly true to its name, a bit of sweetness to balance out the arsenal would be welcomed. Count von Count would have been proud of my choice of ammo: One patty, two patties, three patties, ah, ah, ah! Now it's your turn. Are you ready? read more

We needed a little shake-up for our routine, and since we don't do much with New Years, this was our evening out. Never been; difficult to find. Especially in the fog. But once we discovered the entrance, we had a good experience. Ordered from a "kiosk" at the counter. Lots to choose from, especially if you're a hard-core salt and meat person. I got the jalapeño burger with chips; my bride got the big d with loaded fries. We shared the cheese curds. I can handle heat and rich food. I like butter on everything, grease is good, lard is great....so I wa prepared: this is decadent food. The curds are great. Like pillows of cheese tucked into a crisp coating. Paired with the spicy mayo, they are great. Burgers are terrific. Done right. Buns are perfect for the meat. My bride liked her fries. It was a lot to eat. But all very good. My bride detected a garlic flavor, so maybe it lived up to its moniker? I didn't, but I had a patty topped with peppers and cream cheese. Tough to discern through that. The chips were a little over spiced. Average taste. The bottomless mug of point rootbeer is genius. Love that. They are not afraid to charge. All of that, including a modest tip for the two cooks, was over $40. Worth it for us, but keep that in mind when you go. My only negative comment, and this is because as I age, I'm more sensitive to the decent into societal coarseness, but I could do with fewer "f-ing" this and "f" that from the employees. They seem like good guys enjoying their work, but it was obvious. Maybe pull back on that. With the kitchen right there next to the dining room, there's no hiding it. Overall, I hope this place does well. Happy New Year! read more

Imagine your perfect burger.... Like the burger that you would have as your "last meal burger".. Ok.. got it pictured.... Now turn both half's of the bun into garlic bread and add a touch of artisan craft.. yup THAT JUST HAPPENED . Plus the dude is cool and plays disc golf, so obviously the place kicks but. You know how some of the BEST places to eat are the ones that are hard to find, down an alley, not a ton of advertising? The Big Garlic checks all those boxes and was FANTASTIC!!! Tried the Sh*tty Steak sammich, and am looking forward to tryimg them all!! Tons of options for french fry/chip seasoning, which was also some of the best I've had. Great hole in the wall burger place my brother suggested. Burgers are delicious, and unique (they even add sprouts to some of them?? never would have thought about that myself but so good I might have to do the same at home). Maple bacon boneless wings taste like chicken & waffles in bite-sized wing form. If you are a garlic person, this place will knock your socks off. Definite must-try - if you're considering eating here, consider this your sign to order. read more

I went to The Big Garlic today for the first time and it was great! I had a fried chicken sandwich and my husband had the Big Pop. We were both very happy. The chicken was very juicy and the buns were delicious. The fries were still crunchy after my 15 minute ride home. We will be back! I suggest ordering online, the line was pretty long. read more
