We had a group of 7 at lunch time. We were promptly seated and our waitress was very good. We had kids who shared two meals and it was an extra $1 to share the plate. They did bring the meals split for us. We had the Jimmy skillet, the provolone chicken sandwich and the country fried steak. All were good. We went here on a pass through. The waitress was not super friendly and me and my husband are certain I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger but I ended up with a bbq bacon cheese burger. I thought maybe I did order wrong but both my husband and daughter confirmed I didn't. It took forever to get from sitting to getting our food I didn't even acknowledge it to them cause I was over it especially after driving for 2 hours. HOWEVER the burger would have been good if not for the extreme amount of BBQ sauce. The prices were very high I have no clue how a meal for 3 people turned in to almost $80 we just got burgers and drinks!! read more

Cute little café loved the different theme decorations within the café from Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, to the Harley Davidson corner. Definitely rock 'n' roll style. The sitting areas were perfect when I arrived. The place was pretty busy by the time I left of course it was already getting towards the closing time so I was able to take the nice pictures. My food was great exactly how I asked for it. I totally forgot to take a picture of it because I was definitely wanting to dig again right away. However, I can tell it was really good. Stopped for lunch as we drove south from 'up north'. Can I give this place 10 stars? Husband had turkey club and fries which were both excellent, fresh and tasty. I had the provolone chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries (OMG these fries!). The place is a delightful oldies themed cafe that is clean and friendly. Service was impeccable and food came out fast. It's about three minutes off of the HWY and very easy on and off. They serve breakfast all day and have a nice variety of meal options. Not a place you go if you are looking for salads. Two options - taco (is this even a salad?) and Ceasar. If you want a fresh and delicious sandwich or breakfast stop here. Oh, we didn't try it, but their cheesecake selection looked TO.DIE.FOR. Bananas foster, hot honey peach, etc. Next time, I'm saving room for dessert! read more

Love the ambiance and decor of this cafe. Staff is friendly and are quick to refill coffee and water. They have a great looking menu, with plenty of options. Two of us chose the Jimmy skillet and one chose the Belgium waffle w/strawberry and blueberry topping and whipped cream. The skillets were hot, with fresh ingredients. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the hashbrowns were crispy (I'll have to request that next time). The waffle was good, but the strawberry and blueberry topping is a little sweet, so would get those on the side next time. read more

I've been here twice while road tripping from Madison to the Northwoods. All I can say is that I love this place. Great service. Friendly, efficient servers. Just an overall great place to stop and enjoy a good quality meal at a fair price. Restaurants like this are sadly a thing of the past. This is my go to stopover in The Point! We have been here several times and always enjoyed the experience. Today was the exceptional. We went here for breakfast this morning. We met my sister and her husband so there were four of us. We were seated immediately. My brother in law was having a bit of an issue with his blood sugar level so my sister asked for an orange juice right away for him and I couldn't believe how quickly it was brought to him. Overall the staff was very attentive keeping our coffee cups filled and checking on any needs. The food was amazing. I had their "special" today, Colorado omelet, and if you have a chance I highly recommend it. They also came around tempting us with fresh from the oven sconces and cinnamon rolls. They looked delicious and my sister gave in and got one to take home. If you haven't been there the decor as you might guess is like an old school diner with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Fast, friendly service and good solid diner food. Best place in Point for breakfast/brunch, especially when you don't have a ton of time. Even if they aren't on special, you can get breakfast nachos or the cowboy chimichanga at any time - recommend trying both. Found this with the Yelp app and convinced my wife to give it a try. For starters, the portions are the size portions they should be. MORE is not always better. I was able to eat all of my perch because for $9.99 they give you three pieces. My wife liked her crispy shrimp wrap but might customize it if she tried it again. Let me tell you about the potato pancakes...why the hell has nobody told me to actually put the syrup on the potato pancakes. They were really good, and our waitress, Lucy, made personalized small talk, not the generic banter waitresses in large places do to get you OUT of the restaurant quickly. We consider ourselves breakfast aficionados. We're the type of people that eat breakfast for lunch and dinner and seek out all-day breakfast menus filled with greasy spoon favorites, eclectic takes on classics, and bottomless coffee. Having recently relocated to the area, we were on the hunt for our new "breakfast place." We may have found it in the Rock n Roll Cafe. From the outside, it is an unassuming place that you wouldn't necessarily think had great food. The inside is theme decorated with lots of pictures of Elvis and other rock and roll icons. The seating is...cramped. The restaurant isn't very big and some of the seating is a get-to-know-your-neighbors set-up. But, this isn't a deal breaker and honestly, adds a little charm. Plus, when you're from the Midwest, it isn't usually hard to make conversation with your table neighbors. Our sever was bright, bubbly, and clearly loves her job. She smiled and cracked some jokes. She was attentive but not hovering. There were multiple servers moving throughout the restaurant ensuring everyone had full water and coffees, regardless of whose table it was. The menu is comprehensive with the exception of my favorite breakfast option: a sweet and savory platter (i.e. eggs, meat, and pancake/waffle/french toast). But still, it is easy to find something for everyone. We stuck with breakfast items this visit with the exception of trying their cheese curds (a Wisconsin staple). I had the cowboy eggs benedict, per the good reviews for the dish here on Yelp. While the gravy was seasoned well and the sausage tasty, the biscuit was dry and grainy. A bit of a disappointment. But the side of fruit was actual whole chunks of apple, orange and melon as opposed to the sad little cup of cut up fruit you usually get at other places. We ordered a plate of french toast to share, which totally saved the day. It was delicious! My husband had a bacon, sausage, and cheese omelet which he said was tasty. The prices were very fair for the portion sizes, the restaurant was clean, and the service stellar. We will definitely be back! read more

First off, come early so you could get seating. It gets packed really quick because it seems everyone comes here and there are regulars who lingers after breakfast. Our presence was acknowledge right away when we walked in. Our waitress found a booth. It seemed snugged because it was such a full house with all walks of life. Almost, if not everything on their menu was less than $10 a plate and there were so much to choose from. I got the Cowboy Benedict which came with choice of hash browns, toast, or fruits. I got the fruits and it came in the cutest cuts and perfect to munch on. The gravy was seasoned well and not overly salty. I like to eat my biscuits and gravy with some jam; sweet and salty. Totally hit the spot and put a great vibe in my day. Our waitress was upbeat and helpful. She definitely knew the menu well and offered specials plus suggestions on which sides to eat. We've been to so many cafes from Arizona all the way through Wisconsin and no where beats this place. Jessica is our favorite waitress and all the other staff is very friendly.
