Even though there is no indoor seating allowed (who sat inside anyway?) the Catch is open. The clams are as good as ever.

View from patio looking at Newfound Lake. Lobster salad.

Beautiful view from the patios. Yes, cars/ parking lot are in front of patio but still well worth coming. They have waitress serviced patio tables and self serve patio tables. I like that choice. The bar is inside but walls are open so that also looks out to lake .There's a public beach steps away. Our waitress was FANTASTIC! She said they were short on help and that it would be a bit- that was ok- we could admire pristine Newfound Lake. This is a causal place that appears to be very patient with families and lingering customers. Like I said- amazing staff! The lobster salad was great and clam chowder was fresh and delicious. I would definitely go back!

Mixed Fried Platter - Chicken and Shrimp

THE BEST FRIED FOOD VALUE IN NEW ENGLAND!!! You can pick any two fried options for just under $20. The shrimp was lightly battered with sweet chili sauce. Also tried the fried clams and scallops from other members of my party which were both also delicious. The portions are fantastic for the price. I ate almost the entire plate and I wasn't left feeling gross because it is all breaded rather lightly but very crispy.

"Are we really eating ice cream at the lake!?"
    Jay M.

Amazing Burgers!! Even better Chicken Fingers and my sons think the Ice Cream tastes better on the lake!!! Staff is super friendly!! You really can't beat the location! Most spots with a location this good wouldn't even need to try with their food... but everything here really hits the spot! Our new go to for lakeside dinning! Can't wait to come back!!

Great place to eat at Newfound. Sure, there is usually a wait, but I don't mind when I'm on vacation!

Either closed for the season or closed permanently. Drove over an hour to try their lobster roll only to find the windows all boarded up.

I think it's overpriced. Large portions but not my favorite. Casual and near the water. Pleasant atmosphere, can be noisy..

Just up the road in Campton, we discovered Covered Bridge Farm Table--and what an amazing place. The food is incredibly fresh and truly farm-to-table. The staff was super friendly, and our waitress was fantastic. We both ordered the clam chowder, which is gluten free and absolutely delicious--exactly what we needed to warm up. We also ordered the Cowboy Chips, and fair warning: they disappear fast. They were amazing, with the smoked Gouda being the perfect finishing touch. Definitely not your average nachos. As an added bonus, the restaurant overlooks a covered bridge and a river, making for a wonderful view while enjoying our afternoon snack. The menu overall looks fantastic, and we'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

There was live music in the bar but we wanted to sit for dinner so we sat in the dining room. The water was really great. Brought water to us as soon as we sat down and took our drink order. They had an okay selection of beers on draft but nothing that u really loved. Espresso martini that one of us got was good, not great but good. The ahi tuna bowl was amazing. Our son had it and said that everything was great. My wife had the Cape Cod Rueben, which is her favorite go to and said it was phenomenal. Our daughter got the chicken fingers and fries and said the fries were her favorite. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the breast seemed a bit cookie cutter and not really fresh. The apples in my sandwich were more like a jar jam and wasn't very good. The brioche bun was okay but overall the sandwich was a disappointment. I will say the basket of fries was the highlight for my meal. I ordered the key lime pie to go and it wasn't very good. The menu said it was world famous and won competitions but in my travels, this was about a 3 out of 10 of all the key lime pies I have had. Overall, our visit was good and they deserve 5 stars for service. If we ever go back, I will try something different. I'd recommend giving it a try.
