Going around the food area of Seaport Village, I saw this Donut shop , I don't remember seeing it here before so I gave it a try. There are so many selections like choose from like, STRAWBERRY w / CHOCOLATE, APPLE pie , FERRERO, and more, all sound good but also sound so sweet for me. I just chose something that can probably balance the sweetness and the filling, which is the LEMON. I did like this donut, citrusy from the Lemon and Sugar just goes well together. They also have Cold and Hot drinks here but I stayed with my water, probably next time I will try their drinks here on my next jogging here in the area. read more

You bite and it crumbles. You lose more of the glaze onto to the table then in your bite. I'm ok with that though. I don't care for very sticky, dense glaze. You have to take several bites before getting to the filling. I tried both the black current and lemon and they were average filled taste. I was expecting more. I noticed this new spot open at Seaport Village today and was excited to try it! They were on the pricier side but it's pretty much expected for a touristy spot like Seaport Village. Mini donuts are $3.50, most glazed with filling were $7, which seemed on par with seaport village. There were a few "premium" ones at $12 which is extravagant for what it is. They did look pretty good in the case so I went with the pistachio donut which was one of the "premium" ones at $12. The dough was heavy and dense and the frosting was also dense and pretty sticky. It wasn't the worst but also no where near the best - definitely not what I was looking for which was a light and airy donut. And definitely not worth the price! The guy at the counter was nice and friendly. He mentioned that they had only been open for a little over a week so maybe they're still working out kinks. Some of the donuts are quite large, so the $7 seems somewhat reasonable since it's double the size of a standard donut ( think size of a sandwich / hoagie roll). There are some specialty donuts ( Nutella, Cannoli, pistachio) that were $12, but that was a little steep in my opinion, so pasted. So many flavors to choose from it was hard to decide. I ended up with Cherry - good ratio of filling to the dough and the filling wasn't to sweet more sour cherry which I like better. They have a rose flavor donut that I'm still thinking about, that I might go back to get. I've read that is a traditional polish donut flavor. The shop is a small walk up window, no seating. I heard about this place from the local Polish community. It was very exciting to learn that these are true Polish style doughnuts. When I asked the staff if these were Polish style doughnuts, non of them has a remote clue... They all looked like from Polish bakery back in Poland though! We had one lemon and one coconut doughnut. Both were fresh and fluffy and not overly sweet like regular doughnuts here. Simply scrumptious! I wish there was a bit more filling in the coconut one but still was very tasty.
