This is my favorite place to pickup donuts for a crowd...or when I have an excuse to get donuts. I'm a fan of mom and pop old school donuts. These are always fresh and don't leave a gross oily after taste like some other places do. I just demolished a donut for dinner and had to immediately jump on to share 5 stars. As someone who doesn't really care about donuts typically, this is news. This is a return trip. A few weeks ago I saw they had a guava filled donut and stopped in mid-dog walk. Normally don't enjoy a filled donut (too sweet) but this delectable treat was light and delicious. I finished it in seconds. I've been thinking about that guavt for weeks, and finally went back to grab one tonight (love their late hours!) as "dessert." When I saw allll the flavors I found myself also ordering an old fashioned, cruller, and a custard filled. It's not easy to find real custard! They filled it fresh on the spot, and carefully handed it to me. When I got home I realized my old-fashioned donut was still warm from the FRESH batch they were working on. I ate pre-dinner so I could enjoy it...and wow did I. After you visit you'll see what I mean. It's a gem. Looks like an old Subway but smells like donut heaven. Take cash if possible. I live in the UTC area, but I'm always willing to make the drive because I believe its that good, and I love supporting this business. Every time I come here, the donuts are big, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection from classic glazed, crumb, maple bars, old fashioneds, filled donuts, donut holes, you name it. No matter what I get, it's always soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. The best part is that their prices are super reasonable, especially compared to some of the trendier spots charging double for half the quality. On top of that, they also participate in Too Good To Go, offering an assorted box to help reduce food waste, unlike the big chains that unfortunately throw away their leftovers at the end of the night. I came across this place years ago since it's in the same small shopping plaza of one of my favorite bagel shops. Randomly went here while waiting for our burrito a couple doors down. You can smell the donuts from the outside in the parking lot and it made me crave a maple donut. There was no one in the store and it looked very similar to other mom & pop donut shops. The Asian lady working there took our order and recommended we either get a blueberry or chocolate with peanuts donut since they just came out of the oven. I consider myself lucky that my favorite donut shop is just a short walk away. The storefront is unassuming, and the donuts are not flashy, but they are delicious! My favorite for a long time was a Chocolate Raised- a fluffy donut with a little chocolate on top (see the one with M&M's- they are optional). After several years of consistency I had to branch out so I tried the Chocolate Cake with colored sprinkles (see top R in the box). OMG they are so good!! I won't say that this place has donuts just like Krispy kreme but I will say that the raised glazed was VERY delicious. It was airy, light, soft and moist on the inside. I stopped in here for the first time this morning and was excited to try this place out. It's cash only but read they had an ATM machine. Unfortunately my card was giving an error. The nice Asian gentleman asked me what I wanted and told him sadly my card wasn't working so I had no cash and would come back another time. He told me no worries what do you want just pay another time. It was such a nice gesture I was a bit surprised and only was going to take one doughnut but he knew I wanted more and insisted I should try another I ended up with the blueberry cake with blueberry icing along with a maple frosted shortbread.
