The absolute best! Everything about this donut shop is amazing. I love the French crueler....my husband likes the maple bars and my kids love the donut holes (we call them "dozens" but if you're from the east coast they are munchkins!) This is a family-run business and we come every week and my kids think it's really special to be a "regular" somewhere. It's like our own version of a pub!!

The bars and raised donuts were huge!

This is my favorite place to pickup donuts for a crowd...or when I have an excuse to get donuts. I'm a fan of mom and pop old school donuts. These are always fresh and don't leave a gross oily after taste like some other places do. I'm a huge fan of their chocolate old fashion and chocolate cake donuts, blueberry, and the buttermilk old fashion bar here. But they are all great. My kids love the glazed raised. The donuts are huge too! Very reasonably priced. The older ladies here are cute and sweet. Always service with a smile. The place is clean and homey. Not much room so it's not a place to get coffee and sit but more of a take to go. Your car will smell delicious.

$6.45 too good to go

I come here all the time for the French cruellers. It's the best. I don't know how make theirs but it's unlike the other donut shops. It's consistent in both of their locations. One day, I noticed they had a too good to go deal and wanted to see what's it's like. It's soooo worth it. For $6.45, you get a dozen donuts and some donut holes (see pic). The donuts were still soft and delicious. Service was really fast. It's a tiny shop so it's best to just do take out. The parking lot here is very small.

Mixed dozen of donuts including, cake, old fashioned, and buttermilk.

Was in the area and had a craving for donuts, so decided to check this place out. It's located in a small plaza so parking is a bit limited. The shop was clean and had some indoor seating, and the service was great. Staff was super friendly and patient with us as we decided what donuts we wanted. We got a mix of old fashioned, cake, and buttermilk donuts. The old fashioned and buttermilk donuts were solid, but the cake donut (especially the blueberry donut) was one of the best ones I've ever had. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend coming for the cake donut, you won't be disappointed.

The staff is so friendly! There is a wide variety of drink options, fresh prepared and in the case as well. Good selection of classic yummy donut flavors to choose from. Small shop with a couple tables, but definitely more of a grab and go environment. Cash only but they have an ATM inside. It's a little parking lot in a busy area so just be mindful about that. Especially after school as it's right next to the high school!

Really great donut shop in Point Loma! The donuts were fresh and the people were so friendly. I love a sugar donut and it was so soft and fluffy inside! Savry was so nice and welcoming! We will definitely return!

Small shop with a few tables, and a shared parking lot. It is cash only but there's an ATM inside if needed. Very friendly and quick service. They have a large variety of donuts and croissants, as well as teas and other drinks. The prices are great, and if I lived in the area or was with people, I would have grab a dozen to try! The Apple Fritter was crisp with the glaze, and had chunks of apples throughout. It was a little on the sweet side for me, but really tasty! The Buttermilk Donut (Plain Glazed) was soft and you can really taste the buttermilk! The Small Hot Tea (I opted for Stash's Wild Raspberry Hibiscus) helped wash everything down. Definitely a great spot to have a quick bite!

Custard filled, guava filled, cruller, and in the back is an old-fashioned with a bite missing because I just couldn't wait.

I just demolished a donut for dinner and had to immediately jump on to share 5 stars. As someone who doesn't really care about donuts typically, this is news. This is a return trip. A few weeks ago I saw they had a guava filled donut and stopped in mid-dog walk. Normally don't enjoy a filled donut (too sweet) but this delectable treat was light and delicious. I finished it in seconds. I've been thinking about that guavt for weeks, and finally went back to grab one tonight (love their late hours!) as "dessert." When I saw allll the flavors I found myself also ordering an old fashioned, cruller, and a custard filled. It's not easy to find real custard! They filled it fresh on the spot, and carefully handed it to me. When I got home I realized my old-fashioned donut was still warm from the FRESH batch they were working on. I ate pre-dinner so I could enjoy it...and wow did I. After you visit you'll see what I mean. It's a gem. Looks like an old Subway but smells like donut heaven. Take cash if possible. They have an ATM, but no Apple Pay. They also offer plenty of drinks/coffees, which I didn't get to test. I'm sure they're amazing based on how much care goes into the donuts.

It's the delicious traditional donut we all grew up with! What more can one ask for? The owner is friendly and welcoming. It's the local morning spot you don't want to miss out on! Support family owned businesses and shop local!

CASH ONLY! Also atm available inside. The story is tidy, clean and pricing is up front and organized. Got a tea, coffee and a TGTG order that was impressive. Donuts tasted great and still fresh. Parking available in the plaza. Quick friendly service as well.

I was surprised at how much I loved these donuts. They are definitely some of the best donuts I have had. We ordered a selection of donuts, and they were all very good. The ones that were glazed were crispy on the outside, and nice and soft on the inside. My favorites were the old fashioned and the buttermilk bar, but other ones we got were the vanilla glazed cruller, blueberry cake donut, apple fritter, Bavarian cream, and cinnamon cake donut. They had a good selection of donuts to choose from, and I thought they were pretty reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here again!

Bought some donuts from here on the way to a Christmas party! They are moist, made fresh daily and delicious! The donuts were very affordable. The establishment is cash only, and they have an ATM if needed.

I love this place! Surprised to see the prices were so low - these donuts are freshly made, so yummy, the owners are so sweet and kind. Service was so quick, we were in and out in 3 minutes. Love this local spot, definitely worth a visit!!

This location is inside Bober Tea and Coffee. There is a glass casing with several flavors to choose from and they sell at $3 a piece. The one that stood out to me was the chocolate with sprinkles. Upon receiving it in a paper pocket bag, the icing was rubbing off on the bag. That immediately told me this is super fresh! I could already feel the softness of the donut. The little sectioned off ball looking segments of the donut are also a game changer when it comes to eating - easier to eat without making a mess! The texture was bouncy, soft, lightly chewy and a little stretchy... the texture was fun and I found myself wanting another afterwards. I do wish they had offer other flavors that don't sounds too sweet because the other flavors didn't really catch me. Until the next review...

Oh Nomad Donuts how I love you. This place is a local gem that offers craft donuts, breakfast…read moresandwiches, and fun rotating drinks. My favorite part of the start of a new month is checking their monthly drink and donut specials. This month nothing really called my name but they did have a weekend special that really appealed to me. I have had some of their bagel style sandwiches before and ohhhh goodness they are good. This time it was my favorite style of sandwich, a bahn mi. I had high hopes because of the picture they posted on their social media and just the level of creativity they usually bring. Considering it's North Park, I knew ordering online would be the best option and picking up. My estimated time was 15-20 minutes but it only took them under 10. I got an order ready notification before I even left the house. I got there and it was dead, maybe one other person in and out. There's a lot of seating inside and some outside on their patio. They also have different counters for ordering and pick up which helps speed things up. My experience with service was very transactional, nothing bad just nothing to really highlight. Let's talk about this bahn mi. It's promoted as marinated and charred pork shoulder, house made sweet aioli, nuoc cham compound butter, pickled carrot and daikon, mint, cilantro, and jalapeño on a locally sourced Paris baguette. First off, nuoc cham compound butter?? YES. That is the kind of creativity I love to see. I got my sandwich and the wrapper was pretty oily so the sandwich itself looked kind of glossy. The whole thing felt a little rushed, like everything was just thrown on. I will say I wasn't expecting a generous amount of meat but they delivered in that aspect. I first wanted to try the compound butter on its own and it had a slight nuoc cham flavor, but in the sandwich it didn't really stand out past all the bolder flavors. Now if you've seen my other reviews, the best part of a bahn mi to me is the pickled daikon and carrots. These might be the best I have ever had anywhere. They are exactly how I prefer them, sweet with a slight acidity and THICK CUT. The crunch on these... please let me buy a whole jar. The bread was alright, they mention they source it locally so it's not made in house, but mine leaned a little old and I could tell through the texture. The pork was marinated really well, I do wish some of the pieces were more charred because you could see where some of it didn't hit direct flame. This also came with a side of what tasted like a hoisin vinaigrette. I liked the creativity but felt like the sandwich didn't need it. It was way too acidic and strong and there's not much need for that sharp vinegar hit here. I paired my bahn mi with a miso caramel matcha latte. This was expensive, a 12oz for $8 is steep even for matcha. It was good but not amazing. It leans more sweet than matcha forward. The miso caramel actually surprised me though. At other cafes it usually comes off more like a salted caramel, but here it had more depth, slightly savory, and when mixed with the milk it came out really creamy and smooth. The matcha was a little grainy though. Overall I will definitely be back and will keep my eye out for more specials because that's where they really shine. And seriously, if they ever let me buy those pickled carrots and daikon by the jar, I'm there immediately.

I'd probably try it with an add on of tomato the next time. The ice strawberry matcha is pretty good too. Overall, it's a pretty cool spot for a quick bite!
