Great food at a reasonable price! My usual is the roast beef sandwich but today I decided on the pastrami. And it did not disappoint. Thinly cut pastrami serve served with Ultra soft bun served with french fries and a salad. It was a great little lunch. The service is excellent. The staff is so friendly and warm. Definitely be back again thanks beef bar for the great lunch.

Amazing service funny they love playing trivia feel nice and cozy inside the food was amazing they deserve all the business and can we talk about the prices nothing more then 14 bucks every thing is so cheap I fed 4 people for only 30 bucks that's how life should be simple and cheap ... I recommend make the right place popular TRY IT

My father had seen a feature on Chronicle about The Beef Barn and how they had not raised their prices in the recent years, and we just had to try it. We actually drove fairly far to get to the Bellingham location, but it was extremely worth it. The food was really high quality, and the service was incredibly quick. I think they could easily charge $6-7 for each of these sandwiches and we'd still think it was a great deal, but the fact that they haven't raised their prices is all the more reason to keep coming back. Turkey Burger ($4.75) - I didn't actually order this, but both my mother and my partner got it and I ended up having a few bites. The actual thickness of the patty was quite substantial, and my mother actually had trouble finishing her portion because it was so large. The patty was juicy and had nice grill marks on it that tasted of being on the barbecue, and it was an extremely well made burger. Next time I stop by , I'm definitely making this - the meat was really well seasoned and the ratio of meat to veggies to bun was spot on! Fish Sandwich ($4.50) - This was probably the most average of the 3 sandwiches, but for $4.50, it was still an excellent piece of fish with some nice veggies on a bun. The fish itself was a chunk of fish (not ground up like fish sticks), and it was nice and crispy. It was also large enough to cover the whole bun so can't complain here. Roast Beef ($4.75) - This was by far the highlight of the evening - the roast beef sandwich is absolutely to die for. The meat was so incredibly beefy - it tasted like actual beef instead of processed lunch meat, and it was so thin and soft that you didn't even have to chew it very much. Honestly, I think I would be able to eat this with just my gums. The meat was melt in your mouth delicious and tender, and the 3 oz. feels like enough to fill the whole sandwich, which was something we were worried about at first. I truly can't believe how delicious the meat was, and the roll was nice and fluffy as well. I would get this every day if I lived closer, and the price can't be beat. All in all, this is a stunning 5/5 stars. All of the sandwiches were great, and the price is amazing. We were able to feed 4 people for just around $30 and all of us were stuffed at the end of the meal. And not only that, the ingredients are incredibly fresh and flavorful. This is a gem of a find - definitely stop by if you are in the area (and make the trip if you are not!)

My friend bought me here for the first time today, and I was extremely impressed with the prices and food quality. This is a GREAT place for lunch. I did not think there was even a restaurant so decently priced left! HA! They have inside dining and outdoor in the nice weather seasons. The service is pretty good, no complaints. They serve all their food on disposable plates with disposable tableware. They serve alcoholic beverages and an abundant variety of desserts here as well, I did not order this time around, but I will next because I will most definitely be going back here. It is very cute and western looking by the way :)

I went out with my bike group family for dinner like always nothing was wrong. Everything went perfect. One young lady came in and she took all of our beverage orders and went out and put them together. Then the regular server came in took all of our orders was able to separate them without having a problem because it was 18 of us there that evening. As always, I got the roast beef sandwich with the french fries and salad special and where can you go for like seven bucks and get all that food. My other half had the cheeseburger. And a soda. Everyone had wonderful choices. The food was excellent. It all came out together which when you have a party that big we normally aren't that lucky. But everything went fine. The only mixup was one guy didn't get a pickle he ordered, but they gave him an extra Because, they gave us to the wrong person and they ate it lol. I don't remember the name of the serve. I believe it might have been Jessica or Jennifer. But they were awesome as always never had a bad meal there always enjoy everything when we go to eat where it be our children or our friends it just isn't worth making. Roast beef sandwiches are always very full and if u leave hungry it'syour fault. I also got the dessert. The homemade strawberry rhubarb pie. I took one bite took the rest home.

Finally able to make a pit-stop at the Beef Barn in Bellingham. There are two locations (one in RI and one in MA) of the Beef Barn. This is an easy to find location in Bellingham. Easy parking and plenty of it. Upon entering the Bellingham location, I could tell right away that this location was a "classic"....a "throw back". Stools to sit at the counter were the first that I saw. It reminded me immediately of one my favorite breakfast spots where we use to sit at the counter to order breakfast! I arrived approx 12:15 and it was very busy during lunch. Just about as many people picking up to-go orders as there were sitting down to stay. I decided to stay and to sit at the counter. I was quickly served with a Coke and a menu. The counter where I was sitting had approx. 10 stools. 5 of the 10 stools were occupied when I arrived. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with mustard and pickle. I was told that I would get a full dill pickle which was pre-cut and that the mustard was already on the counter. I ordered a french frie, as well. As I was waiting, I noticed there were two young ladies working, who seemed to know almost all the customers. Conversations with different customers told me that they were probably regulars and customers who already knew what they wanted. I noticed there were several customers talking to each other, as well.....friends for sure. As soon as the food came, I noticed how small both the sandwich and the fries were. I was not surprised because of the price. For all three items that I ordered (sandwich, fries and drink), the total was $9.60. The food was great. The roast beef was fresh and the fries were hot and crispy! I finished my meal, paid and exited. I was in and out in 25-30 minutes. I give 5 stars because I am a fan of the throwback style. This place has great food, a great vibe, great prices, easy to park and superb service! I plan to check out the RI location at some point....Also, I would like to try out the milk shakes!

All the booths hugging the wall were taken so we seated at the middle tables (but also offered the bar area). Their menu isn't too big, which made my decision easier and they had plates that have a little bit of everything which I loved. My mom had the MO which came with two eggs, home fries, toast, and four bacon and I ended up going with the little lady which included one egg, one sausage, one bacon, home fries (beans or fruit are other options), and I chose grilled English muffin as my bread. I was a bit worried it wouldn't be enough food but it was more than enough. The eggs was cooked perfectly. The bacon was crispy. The sausage was flavorful and tender. The potatoes were unique and one of the best I've ever had. They were short sticks that could've been lightly fried or maybe grilled, I wasn't sure. But the flavor and consistency/texture were amazing. The French toast was really good, thick and eggy. A sprinkle of cinnamon would've been perfect. I will be coming here more often. Prices are really good and the staff is very kind and attentive.

The rest of the table had a variety of breakfast and lunch options. Once ordered the food came out quickly. The tea is also bottomless! My omelet was good but a little dry. I wish that they had cooled down the onions a little more. The corned beef was excellent though. Toast could have been a little toastier. The homefries were seasoned well but a bit on the burnt side. I like my potatoes crispy like that so it didn't bother me, but my grandma would have sent them back. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food as well. A breakfast for 5 came out to be $100 before. Which I felt was reasonable but a little pricier compared to other breakfast locations. Would I come back? Sure! I would just want to try some other options as their menu was expansive.

The restaurant is small (only seats 48) so reservations are recommended. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, there wasn't very many people while we were there so I'm not sure how loud it gets when busy. They have a full bar so I ordered a drink and my husband loves his craft beers and they had a few (but he always prefers if they have a beer menu so he can read the beer description). For appetizers we ordered shrimp cocktail and the meatball. The shrimp and sauce were delicious, and the meatball was HUGE (we almost could have a meal with that!!! The meatball came with lots of sauce and ricotta with 2 toasted bread slices (we devoured every bit!). For dinner we shared 2 entrees, we got the seafood casserole which came with choice of side (we picked baked potato) and a vegetable medley, and the southern fried pork chops that came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.
