I was losing sleep every night because there was rummaging and scraping taking place on the roof above my bed. I suspected it was either birds or squirrels and had tried checking everything myself but couldn't find anything. I called around to some places to describe the issue I was having and at least one person referred me to Thomas Wildlife Control. I called up and managed to luck out by securing an appointment the following day. Brandon showed up on time ready to go to work and was very personable. He walked me through the process he would take and was very transparent with me including setting expectations so there wasn't any guess work involved. Cutting to the chase, he not only managed to find what was going on and causing it, but took the time to show me and explained how important it was to catch the culprit then because of all the other damage that could be done if it wasn't caught. Then he managed to provide a very reasonable solution to take care of the problem and did excellent, clean work. Brandon was like the more professional Doctor Doolittle / animal whisperer and made the whole experience feel easy and a great value. Now I'm sleeping peacefully and feel reassured that the problem was resolved. Their contracts are reasonably-priced and they come every two weeks and spray and clean cob webs and anything else in the awnings. They always text us before coming and when they're on the way. They always check via text before coming if we want a knock on the door when they arrive. They also text and email us about anything else, such as billing or scheduling. Great communication. If any issues come up between visits, such as new insect or rodent visitors, Brad always addresses the matter immediately, coming the same or next day, if needed, and spraying, and at no additional cost. And Brad is so educated and informed on insects and local issues, it would surprise you. Recently we noticed cockroaches in the front exterior of our home, which of course alarmed us. When we contacted Results, Brad came out the next day. He informed us that the roaches came from the storm drains (manholes) and were searching for a place to live, but that what they already sprayed and protect our home with will kill them off and not allow them to stay. I was amazed by how knowledgeable he was on the matter. Another great thing is that it's great to support a small, family-run business. I reached out to several businesses in the neighboring area on Friday 7/3 because I had seen a…read moresnake along the side of our house. We were having out of town guests coming to stay with us and they were going to arrive within a couple of hours. We had planned on being in our backyard and young children, so we needed to address the snake immediately. We were thinking we might not be able to reach anyone since several businesses closed on 7/3 in observance of July 4th. Mike, however, contacted me immediately via phone. When we spoke I wasn't sure what kind of snake it was since I only saw its body (its head and tail were wrapped around a garbage bag of recycling). Even without knowing if the snake was venomous he let me know he would be able to come in about 30 mins from Folsom. He arrived within the agreed timeframe and was able to catch the little guy (garter snake luckily) within a few mins! He checked a few other spots where possibly other snakes might be hiding and didn't find any others. He mentioned that the side of our house was the perfect hot spot for snakes to come hang out, so we will try to figure out what options we have to make it less desirable for snakes of any kind! Mike took the snake with him and let us know he'd release it near Folsom lake. Mike was very prompt in responding to the yelp inquiry, came as quickly as he could, took care of the problem quickly, and was professional during our correspondence.
