I brought my 75 el camino in for a stereo installation and was told $250 for a pioneer. Upon picking it up I was told the pioneer was $275. So they installed a brand i have never heard of without giving the option for the pioneer. After listening to it only the left side worked. I rewired it myself the connection was bad after making a good connection only the left side was hooked up. Oh and no support bracket. Piss poor workmanship and the old bait and switch. If I can give no stars I wish I could. Came here two weeks ago to get a alpine deck installed on my cls500 Mercedes. Dropped it off a whole day to find out they had a hard time installing it and had to be put back to stock deck. I couldn't even drive my car down the block it wouldn't accelerate more than 10 mph. I had to call Igor the owner for some assistance to see what they did and to try and fix it. The young African American gentleman that works there was trying to figure out how to get it back to normal. After half an hour into it I found something on YouTube to dis engage tractional control and it ran all the way home safely. The very next day my air suspensions was shot my car was slammed to the ground. Me and my gf noticed a chip on my wood grain were my shift knob is as well. Like someone tried to pry it open aggressively. I am very upset with everything that went on with my vehicle. Everything was working perfectly fine. I had two professional mechanics checked it out and they believe they must have snipped a wire somewhere that is related to my air suspension module. I called the owner Igor and asked what exactly did they do to my car? so my mechanic can find a way to repair and to retrace their steps. He said he will ask the young African gentlemen what exactly he did so he can tell me. He NEVER got back to me. I heard good stuff about them by my friend Steven from Vallejo tint shop way back then so I gave them a shot. Recently I saw my friend Steven and told him my experience. I wish I told him I was going here he would've told me not to. This place fell apart since that young guy been working there. Told me that he messed up his Audi A4 sounds when he wanted some sounds done by them that if I knew I was coming here he would've said NO. He literally had to go back and be an ass to get his car done right and wanted IGOR to do it not the other dude. And guess what? My f*ckn car is still sitting in the shop dusting trying to figure out what the hell sh*t they snipped! So they can fix it. To be honest I want to file a civil lawsuit against this business for those damages they caused on my vehicle. Once I find some snipped wires And not back to where it's supposed to be In original form, I'm coming for you! Beware of this place it's a hatchet ratchet job they do to your car! I want to support local business but this one is not the one. I hope you hire a professional audio tech Igor because it's hurting your business terribly bad. Just wow, where to begin? I detest negging business, especially smaller "mom-n-pop's" like these. However, sending this as a cautionary memo to protect the general public and their cars. My main issue was the hatchet job of an installation that was performed upon my vehicle. The owner chats up a decent game presale. He formerly employed a younger BMA installer-guy. I believe he (the installer) may not be there any longer, for understood reasons (he's not a skilled installer). They ripped up my dashboard, scratched paneling, used ultra-cheap and near-useless wiring, hooked up my components incorrectly + left behind tools and debris in my car. Had to end up shelling out $300+ to repair the dash damage with a cover-lay device. Owner may try suggesting that my vehicle issues were present before the install, but that's simply not the case at all. Much better to just admit, "You know, we completely goofed this one...I'm sorry. How can we fix this?" Another much more professional installer later looked over the work and said it was the worst install job he'd ever seen. A recent return visit to the shop for remedy showed the owner now struggling to perform his own install duties, perhaps due to complaints such as these? Pray tell his work isn't anything close to his hired help? And he was unwilling or unable to extend any assistance in the end. Cannot ever justify returning for future service based upon this experience. read more

I went to a few different places looking for a backup camera system. I had decided on B3st Buy but discovered their pricing varies per store. An audio shop in Napa had quoted me some big bucks for a new stereo and backup camera system. Best Buy had the same system for about 30% less. Then I noticed in another Best Buy the same stern for about 60% less. Needless to say I didn't need that high end car play compatible stereo but wanted a basic stereo that would support a backup camera. Beat Mobile Electronics showed me a couple of options and it was clear their price was lower than the other guys and they were happy to talk to me about all the various options. They installed the new stereo and backup camera and life has been fantastic sense then. I can now see directly behind my truck without worrying about some short person that I cannot see anymore. The new radio works better than the factory one, it has bluetooth so I can talk hands free, play my music from the music app, etc.... You can waste a lot of time looking for the "perfect" deal, but there is no "perfect" deal out there. Save some time and just go in and talk with them, they won't steer you wrong. Ok so this place is ok. The guy saved me about 200 in unnecessary equipment that Brodway auto sound was gonna make me buy. I gave them only 3 stars because they lag on their service. I was told my car would be done with in 1-3 hours I dropped it off first thing in the morning. Never got a call went in at 1pm the guy said he was about to call me and needed another hour. Well an hour later no progress had been done the car was exactly the same as it was an hour earlier. Needless to say car stayed there all day left 5 mins before they closed because when they returned the car they forgot to put the dash board together and was just hanging so he called his guy to take it back inside to finish it. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My father, years back, had purchased products from here and did a okay job so I decided to go back to buy a stereo kit and another piece. I went home and realized that I no longer needed the product and went the very next day to return the unopened unused product, to my surprise it was all final sale! I was never told that! The owner was rude and disrespectful when confronted about the return and refused to returned my money. Finally after a long dispute and being called uneducated by the owner he finally retuned some of my money. I was so offended by the disrespect I was treated with by the owner that at that point I could care less about the $60 car kit I just wish for a apology. Obviously I never was going to receive that so I decided to Educated him with some California Law return policy and realized he was violating more California laws than I expected. It just so happens that the person he was calling uneducated has a degree in criminal justice so I know a thing or two about laws. So instead I reported him to California attorneys office. My advice is shop around before you purchase your products here they are extremely over priced. read more

I went to "The Beat" on Sonoma Blvd in Vallejo and they did a very bad job. They didn't make a good connection to my Lexus stock stereo, ran the wrong gauge wire for my amp and had to go back 3 times the first day they installed it! After my beat going out a week later, the owner still wouldn't admit that it was a bad installation, and kept insisting that the job was done "perfect" and the issues were due to something other than the installation; not even after showing him a melted fuse which connects to the battery. He never offered to look over the work his shop had done until we kept insisting for him to do so. Very bad customer service and very bad installation. They do not know how to go the extra mile for their customers to ensure you are satisfied before leaving there or even making sure everything was working after the installation. They do not know their cars and will let you leave their parking lot with a system that sounds like crap and don't care enough to educate themselves, let alone their customers, on how to make your stereo system the best. They didn't even make a recommendation. They truly do not appreciate music. read more

I went on to back seat speakers for my car. They were pretty eager to sell me these speakers that are not compatible with my system. Ok i should have done my homework. They told me these mtx 6.5 speakers would blow the stocks out the water. Not even close... Now I am on my way to return them. Oh and they did not tell me about the 5 day return policy. Again I should have known to ask.... We will see what happens now on the 5th day??? 2bc... So I went back in hope of returning tho speakers that I can't use for something I can. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and seemed concerned. I guess the way my stock amp is hooked there is no way I can use them with the amp. We finally came up with an idea. I tried it this way already and informed him my other speaker jus drowned the new ones out. He insured me if I mounted them they would hit just like in the show room.. I did not want to mount them becaused I wanted to be able to return them for either my money back or something compatible that would sound the way he claimed these would. Well I mounted them and guess what?? Still sonds the same as they did from the beginning. Now I have return tomorrow again and prove the speakers are not worth the time and money involved. As for the customer service. He seemed to be concerned. So I am hing on my return tomorrow we can figure something out. I sure hope this place sticks by their advertised great business practices. I brought my bmw there to replace my stock radio with a high end deck, I regret coming to this place 100%. The owner is dishonest and ignored my phone calls for weeks. Till this day my deck iSNT working the way I wanted it to work. I believe I was overcharged to what my sons have been telling me. They have also stole some money. I AM NOT SATISFIED AT ALL! They are great bunch of folks. They allowed me to go and check out their install prior to pulling the car out of their install bay. I got an overhead DVD player installed on my 2008 Element. They did have to re-fasten the mounting plate to make it more sturdy, and they hooked it up nicely to my existing Pioneer DVD head unit. I can play DVD on either the overhead unit and see it on my dash, or vice versa. Overall, they listened to my request (without being finicky about it) and were glad to work with me to make my experience pleasurable. Paul (installer) was FANTASTIC and Ivor, what a guy!!
