They looked at my tire and said that my room was cracked and that they couldn't help me but that I should go to Solano tires that they could weld my rim so I went over there and they were so kind. Be careful when having wheel service done to your vehicle there, the mechanics do a very bad job of caring for your rims they scratch your rims up badly when performing wheel work so you will come back to buy new rims sooner than later. These guys are legit ... They helped fixed my cracked rim for my Tesla ... not a lot of shops offer this but these guys do at a reasonable price. I called for a specific tire which they said they had. I was only buying two tires because the other tires were fairly new. When I arrived, they got me in right away and got me out within the hour which was great because they were really busy. The price was fair, and I was pretty happy with the overall service. My only complaint came after I got home and realized they did not put on the tires I asked for. They were different than what I had on the front. I specifically went to Solano Tires because they said they had the tires I inquired about which were not installed. It seemed a little shady to me. The good: I was able to drive in for an alignment and the cost was cheaper than most shops, there was no wait and I left less than 30 minutes later. I drove home about 2 miles at low speed and parked for a week since I ride motorcycle mainly. Once I finally drove it on the freeway I knew something was wrong. It was "walking" all over the highway so I turned around. So I took it to a reputable alignment shop today and boy was I shocked. They had the wheels (pigeon-toed) and something about the camber being way off. I even got a printout of the changes which this place didn't do. Now it drives amazing! They went from 230 to 120 dollars on a service request. That should have been a red flag. I stuck around after I was told it would be 30 min. to complete it. Well 2.5 hours later I was done! They boxed my car in with others as they serviced them first before mine (even thou I was here before them.) I should have left when I could of and gone to a real tire shop. Poor service! read more

Rims look great! I was in a couple months ago and picked up these tires and rims. He quoted me $1,200. I agreed and he ordered them. I went in the next day and he said the ones he had gotten were larger and would look better. They were quite a bit more $$$. The tires and rims look great but are too big. Price to do a tire rotation and balance was cheap, I have a F-250 diesel 17 they did the job then my steering wheel is going to the right and now it's bouncy told them it's wasn't like this they told me the machine says it's good plus we put to many weight on one wheel they didn't want to fix it. No money back or try to correct it weeks later my wheel almost fell of messed up my locking hub and studs broke off. Plus they wanted to sell me some rims I had the wrong size rims for the past 3 years and they're the only ones that found out. Don't go there !!! read more

I've been here 3 times for my tire needs. However this time will be my last. Today's visit I wanted to mount tires to new rims and take the TPMS from my old tires. In all honesty they do this well. As they were installing my new rims, I asked if they had a regular wrench other than an impact gun, they said no. I get home to torque my lugnuts correctly and that's when I find that they overtorqued my lugnuts and I broke one of my studs removing it. So now I'll have to bring it to a reputable shop to repair this shops mistake. If you come here, bring your own torque wrench to install your wheels. read more

I had a screw puncture my tire on a Saturday afternoon and wasn't able to get a new tire until the following day. Little did I know that finding a tire on a Sunday was not an easy feat. I called around to a couple of the bigger tire places that I could think of only to be met with poor, tired attitudes and reports that they were either too busy to help me or closed. Keep in mind that this was a couple weekends before Christmas so I was running errands in addition to trying to find a tire for my car and by the time I found my way to Solano Tires and Wheels, I was hungry (hadn't eaten all day), frustrated, and feeling a bit defeated. When I pulled in, one of the guys was sitting on a stack of tires eating a perfectly popped bag of popcorn (I'll get to how I know this in a sec) and as soon as I stepped out of my car, he walked over to see what he could do to help me out. I told him I had punctured my tire and just needed a replacement and asked if it was something they could help with that day. He smiled, handed me half a bag of popcorn for me to snack on and asked for my keys and took my car right then to fix the tire for me. Everyone was really friendly and the service was so fast and the prices were easily much more reasonable than the quotes I was getting from some of the other places I had called before finding this place. I left with a good tire, popcorn to cure my hanger, and a smile. These guys totally turned my day around and when I replace the donut spare in my trunk with a full size spare, I'll be coming back to Solano Tires and Wheels to get it. read more

I was looking for some new wheels and tires for my vintage Mercedes-Benz. I went to 3 different tire shops here in Vallejo before I found Solano Tires and Wheels on Florida. The 3 different stores I went to told me: a) "you can't get wheels for that car", b) "Sorry, the guy who sells wheels isn't here right now, come back later"' and c) "Go online to tirerack.com and order what you want, have them sent here, and we'll install." All terrible answers in my opinion. So without any great expectation, I went to Solano Tire. I was met by the Owner, who knew EXACTLY what I wanted. ("Get 17" he said, it'll look great"). He then showed me immediately the type wheels I wanted, ordered the wheels and tires the same day, and made me a fair deal on price. 3 days later after the shipment arrived as promised, I drove in to the shop. The wheels and tires were a PERFECT fit for my car. They look awesome! The install went very smooth (less than an hour for mounting balancing, etc. on 4 tires/wheels). He even threw in some beautiful MB center caps. i am exceedingly pleased at the knowledge, service, and quality - and I am VERY picky about my old vehicle! Needless to say, I strongly recommend Solano Tire and Wheel! The other 3 shops totally blew a significant sale by brushing me off or telling me falsehoods.
