Hybridworks was recommended by a family friend. I contacted the shop and spoke with Anthony to inquire about a diagnosis for my Q3. Unfortunately, he couldn't assist because he didn't have the proper equipment. However, he took the time to research my issue. The scan code came back as a fuel delivery error, and Anthony explained my options and even referred me to another shop in Vacaville that could help. I have a plug-in hybrid system that stopped working. The vehicle still operates as a regular car, but the charging portion doesn't work because the DC power charging unit failed. I contacted Hybrid Works about the issue, and while they gave me a few suggestions, none of them solved the problem; though I did appreciate their effort. I asked if they could replace the part if I purchased it myself, and they even provided a written quote. We agreed on the price, so I went ahead and bought the part. However, when I tried to schedule the installation, they refused to replace it. At that point, I was left with a non-returnable part that I can't install and a broken charging system. I would have appreciated it if they had been honest from the beginning and told me they wouldn't be able to work on it. That way, I wouldn't be stuck in this situation. read more

Huge shoutout to Pat and the crew over at Hybridworks. My 2017 Civic crapped out on me on the highway without any warning. Instinctively I towed it to Oakland Honda who performed a $260 diagnosis. They weren't able to find much except for that the coolant was low, cylinder four was misfiring, and I had an 85% compression leak in that cylinder. They wanted to charge me an absurd amount of money just to take apart the engine to continue diagnosis. I was recommended to check out Hybridworks by a friend of a friend and I'm glad he did. Pat and his crew are tuners through and through and their love for what they do clearly shows. They put me at ease and assuage my anxiety about the whole situation, by promising to take care of me. They identified that replacing the engine would be a more cost-effective solution than trying to identify the root cause. They handled the whole process, including purchasing a used engine and swapping out the old one. They topped off my fluids, and changed some other parts as well. I live in Santa Rosa but I have no problem making the hour drive to Hybridworks just because of their excellent service. Anthony and the crew are always super friendly and they know how to get return customers. When I needed my motor put back together and swapped in they did it professionally and without missing a single thing and charged a very fair price to do so. I also had my integra dyno tuned by Anthony and the tune really woke the car up and it feels better than ever, I made 191 whp and 131 ft lbs on a basically stock motor B18c5. Only mods I had were comptech intake, some poopoo dc headers, test pipe and Mugen catback. The chip I had brought didn't even work right but he was kind enough to let me have one that he had lying around. He pulled so much power out of the car that we were all surprised. A couple weeks later the idle on the car was acting up and throwing a code for iac and even though they were busy he squeezed me in and fixed it quickly so that I could continue enjoying the car. Being mechanically inclined, it is extremely difficult for me to bring my car to any shop.
