Came to the Hamptons for a weekend in late July and came to Beach Bar on a Friday night around 1AM because it was one of the few options close by. The club is in the midst of a lot of houses, which can be confusing when you're driving there. There was a huge parking lot that was packed in the back. $10 cover and no wait. The club was actually better than I expected! It was packed and music was good (top 40s with a little edm mixed in)..there was some weird Christmas music because of the theme that night though. They really decked out the venue in Christmas themed decor like banners, huge ornaments, a Santa, Christmas lights, and a Christmas tree! Santa even took shots with the DJ at one point. That night the dance floor was even better than some clubs in NYC so we spent most of the time dancing. The bathrooms had no line, which is astounding for a club. There is also a huge outdoor area with a few TVs and bars. Inside has a fun club feel while outside has a chill bar feel. A great place to check out if you're in the Hamptons and want to go clubbing or hang out at a bar! read more

We had a bachlorette party of 11 girls this past weekend- and I was very impressed with the bar and service! First off Scott did a great job helping me set everything up, when we arrived the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Brian, our (very cute) bartender was ready with a bottle of champagne for our group and a huge set of shots! We were aged from 23-28 and both the younger girls and the older girls had a wonderful time. There were a bunch of different types of music so something for everyone. The scavenger hunt was fun although challenging- and the bartenders were great at serving. The place had a great layout- 3 bars - with multiple areas to be served at each bar so we never waited long for a drink. Location- kinda outta the way DJ- Excelent if u like hip hop and dance music, i think the music was pretty good! they played no 80's like pump your fist to guys with long blonde hair and leather jacket stuff. already a plus in my book. Good: -The DJ was playing some great music (good mix of hip-hop, rap, pop, and some reggae). Good flow from song to song -- well done. -Has both an inside (dance floor) area and outside area (tables and such). -The dance floor comes alive a little after midnight. My boyfriend and I were attacked at this club. The bouncers were extremely aggressive and called my boyfriend a "cocksucker" (we are a gay couple). I got pushed out for accidentally tapping a bouncer. He called me a pussy for tapping him on the shoulder (as gentle as possible). It was my fault for doing it cause I was drunk, but the reaction was completely over the top and uncalled for. He grabbed me and kicked me out. My boyfriend tried to defend me, and they started choking him and pushing us. My boyfriend kept trying to say that their reaction was uncalled for. I yelled and said please, "We are sorry. We are leaving." They continued to rip his shirt and push us very aggressively, clearly trying to get a reaction out of us so they could have a reason to beat us up. It was a terrible experience. This was without a doubt a hate crime, and one that I never thought would happen in NYC. read more

I have been coming to beach bar since I was 18 years old. (I'm 25 now) Sorry Will I hit puberty young & my fake was great. Here is what you need to know: Beach Bar is the quintessential Way to start off your weekend if you're trying to get rowdy. FRIDAY is the day to go. Now take out more cash than you think because this place makes you want to rip shots and now you're hitting black out city. The drinks will be flowing and if you love dancing on the bar just as much as I do, this is the place for you. Genuinely after this happens I usually rip some shots and I don't remember anything when I get down from the bar. Let's be real, in any bar/club they kick you out if you start a problem. The bartenders and bouncers are sick of our shit because we're drunk assholes, letting loose and getting stupid, even if you think you're not, you are. This place brings out the best in me, but also the worst. It will do the same to you. For example my friend sucked breast milk out of a breast feeding 29 year old mother, which they both enjoyed thoroughly. If you're not ready to party like this, then don't bother showing up. This bar kicked out my friend because he was gay. He went up and tapped and bouncer on the shoulder for directions. The bouncer assaulted him for touching him and kicked him out of the bar. His boyfriend came to his defense, and the bouncers choked the boyfriend out for approaching them and called him a "cocksucker" repeatedly. I told them they were being incredibly homophobic and they laughed in all of our faces. I've been to over 300 bars in my lifetime, and this is, simply put, the single worst bar I've ever been to. This was a straight-up hate crime. Update: On the night of July 3rd, my Indian friend and I wore matching American flag hats to the bar. I was wearing a pair of American flag short shorts as well (chubbies). I waltzed into the bar in my clothes with zero questioning. My Indian friend was IMMEDIATELY behind me and was wearing a button down shirt and slim fit pants. They told him that he could not enter the bar with his (identical) hat and told him his pants were slightly long (?). My friend had to take off his hat. Tonight, I watched 5 huge bouncers choke and shove my friend Alex all the way to the road because his boyfriend accidentally tapped on of them on the shoulder. They called Alex a "cocksucker" over and over again - he is gay - and tore his shirt. The bouncers at Beach Bar clearly wanted to hurt him out of homophobia, and I was afraid for his safety. This is the most traumatizing experience I have ever had at a bar...I'm barely even able to write this review right now. Terrible experience from the moment we arrived. Aggressive bouncers pat down all males patrons like they've been randomly selected for additional screening at airport security. Once inside, the bar only accepts cash - I get it; they don't wanna pay taxes on all their transactions because they're greedy and unpatriotic - but their bullshit ATMs charge $5 just to pull out money. Newsflash morons: that's coming out of my bartender's tip. On top of that, the dance floor went from completely empty to packed in under 20 minutes, despite the subpar music. Typical club scene, but there's clearly a double standard when bouncers have nothing to say to obnoxious guys going around harassing and grab-assing women, yet surround the dude who takes his shirt off within 10 seconds. Last Saturday I was introduced to the infamous Beach Bar. Not knowing what to expect, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Incredible music, awesome crowd and great drinks-- and by great I mean they were very cheap and VERY strong. So strong, that I may have left my entire purse at the bar.... admittedly not my finest moment. Waking up the next morning realizing all of my belongings (including phone, passport and credit card) were no longer in my possession was quite possibly the most traumatic morning I've had in quite some time. With nothing to lose, I looked up Beach Bar's number and left a panicked voice mail, all the while knowing it would likely never be listened to. The Beach Bar opened at 2pm, and at 2:01pm my roommate received a call from a 631 area code. Scott, the owner of the club, was on the other line. Not only was he personable and helpful, he was actually able to make me laugh hysterically despite the circumstances. I was already back in Manhattan, so Scott offered to FeDex my entire bag overnight! I have a flight tomorrow and my passport is essential. Before Scott's phone call I considered having to cancel my trip, but his kindness and generosity truly turned a terrible situation into a pleasant interaction with a new friend who inspired me to pay it forward. Long story short I will definitely be revisiting The Beach Bar, but maybe next time with a fanny pack, or just a few less beers... read more

If I am being honest I am shocked that this bar turns a profit. There was just about one on one coverage when we got there, but the level of disorganization is outrageous. We arrived with a reservation with Scott, there was no record of this but he still honored the deal. We were quoted 20 bucks a head save for the bride with a drink, champagne toast, glow bracelets and a scavenger hunt. I went in to get the cover from the atm, and had to leave my id with the gentleman at the front. I was never given it back. As I shuffled my friends in they neglected to give us our drink tickets, or stamp my hand. We didn't get anything on the quoted list until asking about it. I saw many workers kissing and drinking, and I personally was helping people at the photo booth, rather than the elf. The overall vibe was that of a frat party. I would expect a frat to lose my ID after I gave it to them. Not a bar. Furthermore, I can not close on my house because of this fuck up. read more

This place is great for relaxing day drinking. They have decent food/drinks and usually have a band of sorts during the day. It is also less crowded and more chill - as the fist pumpers usually are two stepping at Neptunes. At night it gets very crowded and the crowd gets very young. I must say though the inside dance floor is a great touch. If you are looking to chill, I would suggest getting there early to secure a table and avoid the cover - as they get taken quick. It's nice to have a place to sit for a while in between cutting a rug. I always find it funny that people don't want to go out until 11 because that's when everyone else gets there. It's summer! Finally tracked down Scott the event planner who had emailed us with a certain price. We get there and he says it's $10 more a person because he didn't realize we booked a holiday weekend. Told us well you can pay it or leave. Such poor customer service and could care less about his own mistake of not being able to realize what holidays were when. First time to this bar and this area. We arrived at 8:30pm on a Saturday. Turns out the bar opens at 9pm but the rude gentleman who came up to see why we were there told us "you can come back in an hour". Our response: don't you open at 9. And then he signaled us to exit the area and locked us out. Not to mention that when we asked if we could sit in the bar until an Uber arrived he laughed and motioned us to move towards the exit. This place is fun but casual. For a night in the Hamptons we were looking to do something a little more upscale but our friends were at this place so we decided to give it a try. It was filled with sloppy drunks but overall we had a good time. The drinks were watered down and barely taste any liquor though.. Its right near the water so its deff a chill place to go out without spending a ton of money. The cover was $20.00 and drinks were average 10$ each. Now maybe I'm biased because I usually stay across the street when I am in the Hampton's but the beach bar is allot of fun. Open only for the summer months Beach bar is a great place to get your dance on the inside dance floor or cool off on the outside patio area. They usually have good DJ's playing hip hop and dance music. There is usually a cover charge of $?10 (I think) which is pretty standard for bars in the area. If your in the area and you feel like dancing this place is definitely worth checking out, especially now that CPI has closed :( read more

I love this place, I wish it were closer to me. The hour drive is worth it, though and the $10 cover. I love the crowd, really nice mix of friendly people that just want to have fun. It's not one of those spots were you go to be seen, not one of those spots were the ladies grind against men who hold up the wall. Drinks are moderately priced and the dj is okay. ONLY GO ON FRIDAYS. Fridays are hip hop night and they play a nice mix of everything. Saturdays are a completely undanceable electronic night and an embarassingly thin crowd. But Fridays are worth it. read more

Love this place! Great place to go to with friends during summers in Hampton bays. My favorite thing about this place is that they have a giant dance floor inside and a big outside area to hangout at. There are multiple bars spread out through the place which is also cool. Sometimes the cover is 20 dollars during holiday weekends but usually 10$ on a normal weekend. They also have BOGO deals for select beers depending on the night. Loved this place!! Came here for the first time with a bachelorette party and we had a blast! It was a little slow going at first. The DJ didn't start until what felt like midnight (we got there around 10pm). But what I loved most is that the place was big enough that you could go inside and dance or hang out on the deck outside and still enjoy the music. Not a huge selection of beer or liquor but it's a pretty chill place (beer cans not bottles) so I get it. The bartenders were super friendly and fun! We did the bachelorette package and it was fun to start off with (champagne toast, free shots, scavenger hunt). As it got to about 2am it was a little too crowded for my liking and the bathroom situation is not effective BUT it's a bar, that's life! :) I will definitely be making my way back here if I ever find myself in the Hamptons again. read more

The Beach Bar is the most fun you can have for a night out in the Hamptons! Always packed with people and the DJs play awesome music.
