I have gone a bunch of times so figured I can give a fair review. They have exotic lattes paired with either a cake pop, donut, or pie on top. The holidays bring some cool shaped cups too, like a snowman or gingerbread. The prices are steep. Unfortunately they got rid of their punch card program because someone had to ruin it for everyone but hopefully they'll come up with another point system because their drinks are really expensive. The service is always with a smile. I hear the line can get pretty backed up but I guess the times I went I lucked out but the last time I saw this lady trying to make a left into the place to cut the line, um no babe you gotta get to the back! Idk if there's anything they can do for the line backup since the location is on a corner.
Fun place to visit for tasty coffee and good photos. Yes prices are a bit crazy ($44 for 2 lattes and slice of pie) but this is not a place to come for a drink, rather for experience. It's drive through only but can eat outside at tables. There are 2 parking spots and can also park around corner on the street. The fall special pumpkin latte was quite good even if main purpose is for photo taking. Come with realistic expectations and you'll be happy. Come expecting affordable sit down place and be disappointed.
posting a review of the Barn! I had a great experience on Saturday, May 2nd. I got to meet the owner and she was so nice. I got a blue glass bear which i've been wanting one for so long but i live way out East so it is a drive. I enjoyed one of the new Spring iced latte's which did not disappoint. the staff was great plus very friendly and quick to get my drink to me. I wish this particular barn was closer to where I live but it's fun to visit when I can. Thanks you making the barn a great experience every time we show up.
My family grew up in the area and used to go to The Barn as a drive through grocery store. We came today to try their coffee. And I cannot recommend it enough. I got the apple cider donut latte (which comes with a donut!). My brother got the sugar cookie latte. Both were amazingly good! Not too sweet either! The fall decorations were so perfect for the first day of fall! And the owners are part of what made the experience even more perfect. So welcoming and friendly, you truly feel like family I will definitely be back to try all the other flavors i didn't get today!
I kept seeing reels for this place on social media. I was out in Nassau County today nearby, so I decided to go! There were so many choices and latte flavors that were intriguing me. I decided on the summer s'mores latte, and I got it iced. It cost $7.50. It was pretty good! It was topped with torched marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate. If s'mores were a drink, this would be it! I was a bit scared it would be too sweet for my liking, but it was perfect and it had a perfect balance of flavors. All drinks are made to order. I didn't wait too long for drink. I will definitely be returning! They have a punch card too. Every 10 drinks, you get one free!
Timing is everything, or at least that's what they say. So when my wife and I happened to have some time to kill and we found ourselves near Merrick at an off coffee time of day, we figured why not check out The Barn? Tasty results ensued. I say "off time" because it was about 4:30 PM when we found ourselves rolling into The Barn's tiny location. There's enough viral buzz about this spot that we braced ourselves for a potential line, but instead we were able to pull right up to order. That might be the most nostalgic about the setup is that these Barns (there's more than one location) come from the iconic red Dairy Barn buildings that you probably experienced driving through when you were younger (depending on your age...I might be starting to date myself). Anyways, The Barn does have some other items to buy besides drinks, but it's really truly all about the coffee here. The latte types are eye-popping and for the size and what they look like, the price is pretty decent. Despite our better almost-dinner-time judgement, and with too many good options to choose from, my wife and I chose to each get a latte (iced). We went with the rainbow cookie latte and the (also viral by name) Dubai chocolate latte. The ordering and coffee wait time was quick with the younger staff serving things up quite speedily, albeit with minimal smiles and interaction. So how was the coffee? Definitely a solid "good." I mean when you put a legit rainbow cookie on top of a latte it's hard to not love it. The sweet flavors were all there in that colorful-sounding sip, while the Dubai chocolate latte was less aesthetically pleasing but still held some pistachio tastes. I will say that though both had flavorful oomph, the coffee part might have been a little lacking. This could be personal preference as I like to taste some pizzazz from the espresso that is supposed to be used in a latte. The Barn doesn't have their own coffee (it's For Five brand which can be pretty decent), but I suppose I was hoping for a tad more coffee kick and a little less sweet. Overall, I'll still serve up a superb four stars to The Barn as it creates some nostalgia, has a fun and speedy setup, and definitely dabbles in a menu of engaging items. Perhaps the coffee isn't so strong, but some might like it like that (my wife being one of them). Now all that's left is for somebody to change the old dilapidated barn location near me on Hawkins Ave into one of these!

I went a couple of times for their fall drinks, and I'm excited to try the winter ones because they look adorable. Just a heads-up: the coffee is VERY sweet. Lots of variety for snackies outside the drive through (be careful the drive through is one way!) The service is great and very quick The ambiance is very similar to a dairy barn from back in the day. Really a drive through set up where someone takes your order and brings it to you once it's done. Super quick tho! I ordered the smores latte and it was very tasty. I think it was more sugar than caffeine. I was going for full pieces of graham crackers but it was just a small amount sprinkled onto the 4 large marshmallows. Coffee had wipe cream and chocolate syrup. Certainly tasty, but not as W O W as I was hoping for
After seeing tons of Instagram posts I had to check out this adorable drive thru coffee shop for myself. It's even cuter in person! I opted for the glass bear, which came with coffee of your choice (I got hot coffee with a little sugar cookie flavor) and a cute heart-shaped sugar-coated chocolate cake pop. Definitely social media friendly! It better be for $30!!!! The coffee was good (I think they use For Five roast). The cake pop was good, but a little sweet for my tastebuds, but a 100% adorable touch. The service was great - friendly and quick without rushing me. The premise is decorated for Valentine's Day. There are even igloos if you want to sit in them sipping on your coffee. There's really no on-site parking so don't expect to stay too long. I can't wait to see what they have for future holidays!
I ordered a s'mores latte with a mini cinnamon roll on top and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier with the taste and presentation of my drink. I love it when my drinks are sweet so I really enjoyed the chocolate, whipped cream, and marshmallows. The service was super quick too

They are serving up inspirational and picture worthy coffee drinks that have gone viral through the seasons on social media and the local news. They have a standard all year menu and a rotating seasonal menu. Both drink menus often feature ingredients from local vendors on Long Island such as the Jericho cider mill and more. The coffee they use is For Five Coffee Roasters which is also one of my fav spots. First time coming here we were lucky there was a short line to the drive up spot. They tend to be busier on weekends than weekdays. I got the seasonal apple cider donut latte which is fashioned with a Jericho Cider Mill donut on top. The iced coffee was amazing. Tasted like an apple cider donut in a drink. It wasn't too sweet and was delicious. Outside they have a nice seasonal flower display by the seating area. Since it is autumn they have a lot of pumpkins as decorations on the picnic tables. Service was good. Overall a great experience. We definitely need will be back in the future.

The Barn in Merrick is a drive-through, family-run shop for lattes, iced coffees, ice cream and other snacks. I've been seeing a lot of videos on Instagram so I definitely wanted to try it for myself. A location in Albertson, NY is opening soon. There are some March exclusives available only this month. I stopped by on a Sunday around 2:00pm. There are two drive-through lanes and there were cars in both. The menu consists of iced tea/lemonade, coffee, specialty lattes, dirty sodas, and water. I pulled up to the drive-through window and ordered the Lucky Charmed Latte with the staff member. My husband ordered a hazelnut mocha iced latte. The drinks didn't take long to be prepared and were very yummy. I really liked the addition of Lucky Charms marshmallows and whipped cream on top of the latte. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but the latte had a good ratio of espresso and milk and it was very good. I definitely want to be back to The Barn in Merrick to try other drinks! read more

We visited The Barn for the holidays and it did not disappoint. The festive decor immediately set a cozy winter vibe, making the space feel magical. We tried a few seasonal drinks including the Blue Lagoon with a gingerbread cup and snowman cake pop, the Jumbo Bucket latte topped with a reindeer donut, and a cookie blended shake -- each was creative, delicious, and perfectly festive. The attention to detail in both the drinks and presentation made it feel like a mini winter wonderland straight out of a movie. Hi, I went today as a Yelp guest. I thought all the drinks had like a cake or something attached? I ordered the Sugar Cookie ( thinking a cookie would be on it?) and I wasn't asked if I wanted hot or cold. I could not get the server's attention and he already made it cold. I just took it even though I wanted a hot coffee. So I was disappointed. I barely drank it as I don't drink my coffee iced. It looked good if that's what you like, so I wasted my Yelp drink. :( Oh well. read more
A super cute spot for a coffee and a quick hang! We tried the popular pumpkin coffee in a pumpkin drink and it did not disappoint! My only advice would be to share it with 4 or more, between the 2 of us we could barely finish it, you sure do get a lot of coffee! Service is friendly and you can drive up and order easily - parking lot is small, would recommend parking on the side roads. read more
A great experience at The Barn! I love the back in time feel of driving in for the essentials. They are festively decorated for fall and have some great fall offerings in addition to the milk, eggs, bread and snacks this type of "Barn" store is noted for. We enjoyed delicious fall inspired lattes and cider donuts. They also had pies and lattes in a pumpkin. The staff was super nice and friendly. We visited on Friday evening and most of the people were ordering the Pumpkin Drizzilicious Latte which looked great and was super huge. . There are some tables set up so you can enjoy your latte there. There are plenty of photo ops with the beautiful decorations. I'll definitely be back and looking forward to seeing what they do for the holidays in December! read more

Wow really tasty latte! Service was great. Only one car was ahead of me - I strategically went on a day that it was rainy so I didn't have to wait on a long line. If you go on a nice day, be prepared to wait. Barista was very friendly. Love how pretty the place is with all the beautiful fall decorations. Love it and will be back! read more

Came to The Barn on a crisp Fall Day and it was beautifully adorned with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. The decor screamed Autumn! I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte which was absolutely delicious! It reminded me of how Starbucks used to make it back in the day. It was sweet, creamy and had the right amount of spice. My friend had the apple cider donut and enjoyed it. Had to order a bag to go for the kiddies to indulge! read more

very cute little place, drinks and sweet treats look amazing. I got a dirty soda with coconut and lime and my boyfriend got a blueberry pie cold brew with a whole slice of blueberry pie! Everything was delicious and everybody there was so sweet and helpful I did spill my drink like 17 times in my lap on the way home, but it was worth it. read more

I went here for the first time a week ago or so and i got the rainbow cookie latte- it was not good i couldn't taste any almond, it was all raspberry but the flavor was so bad it tasted almost sour. I went back again cause the customer service was good and I had high hopes something else would be better. I got a caramel latte and It was good but not my favorite the caramel flavor tasted weird- more nutty than caramel but the coffee was nice and not burnt at all. Prices on par with other coffee shops and the customer service was good, in and out quick. I'll be back to try more from their valentines menu. read more

First off this place became hot overnight it's been at this location for years lol. The line was so long it was out on merrick rd. Once you finally get to your turn you are greeted with hard working sweet employees who just want to work and get the rush out. The drinks were delicious and adorable! There are also a few parking spaces if you want to enjoy and not drive off. So far the first order was great I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu for sure read more

The Barn in Merrick NY is off of Merrick Road. It is super busy now with many cars driving up for festive drinks and snacks. I'm told by a coworker that they sell donuts made by the bakery next door. There are some very pretty decorations outside including 2 igloos; for display only though they have couches and chairs set up inside them. ( see pix) In passing I saw a lovely family with their dog, all dressed up, to catch some pix outside of their own there. As I was walking, I didn't order anything at their drive up. I did notice a chalk board near the window with a list of holiday specials for sale. An interesting place to stop at. read more
This is my second time stopping in. Last week I tried the summer s'mores latte and the sugar cookie latte and today I tried the rainbow cookie latte and the Cinnabon sugar cookie latte. All of them were really good, but I would definitely come back for the summer s'mores latte again because I'm a huge s'mores lover! I love all of the Collabs they do with local vendors and all of the creative new flavors. Can't wait to see what else they come out with and try those as well! This is my 2nd time here in 2 days after being introduced to them through a Yelp event. I love the ambiance with all the decorations, menus, and things for sale perfectly placed on the outside. Even though they make your coffee as you order it, the service is still great. Kevin, who served me last night, was there again, smiling. I love what he did. I asked if the special Blueberry Pie Cold Brew. He said he can't make it Decaf. I know many a server who don't care about the customers and say yes to Decaf, but serve regular coffee.Then I get heart palpitations! I changed my order to and Apple Caramel latte after he said he could make it decaf. It came with Whipped Cream and what seemed like a whole apple sliced on the top. I have never seen anything like that before. Kevin introduced the owner Kristine to me (I hope I got that right) and, after hearing how I promoted The Barn, she thanked me and gave me a whole bag of Jericho Cider Mill Apple Cider Donuts! Latte was fantastic! The flavor was more subtle than i expected, it wasn't so in your face with the cinnamon flavor but it was still nice. They didn't tell me the total at the window, but the cashier helped me order a drink seeing as it was my first time there, so that was nice! Service was quick too read more

Very disappointed! I was so excited to try the barn. I ordered the cinnamon bun latte and the cotton candy lemonade. They served me an iced latte that was watered down and tastes like the milk is about to expire. The cinnamon bun was frozen and the size of my thumb nail (with lots of icing) My son won't drink the lemonade and I threw out my latte. The service was fast so they get the one star. read more
Saw The Barn trending on Tik Tok so stopped by and this is some of the best coffee I've ever had! I got a summer s'mores latte which had all the fixings; marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate sauce. The employees were also so friendly. Heard about the fall lineup of drinks, so I had to head to The Barn! Now that school is back in session, the wait time has gone down significantly during the day. The man who helped me was very nice! I wish I could have tried all of the fall drinks, but for now I went with the apple cider doughnut iced latte and the candy corn iced latte. They use For Five coffee which I love to begin with! The apple cider doughnut iced latte is topped with an apple cider doughnut from Jericho Cider Mill. The doughnut was delicious. The drink itself was very tasty but also very sweet. The candy corn iced latte tasted more like a caramel flavored drink, I think I was expecting the sweetness from the apple cider iced latte to be the same as the candy corn one, but it was less sweet. But being that caramel and apple are a good combination together, they balanced each other out as far as the sweetness. They also added more tables since I was there over the summer, so you can sit and enjoy your drinks with friends and family outside. read more
