The manager is friendly and welcoming, along with the staff. Food and drinks always taste so good. I love the caprese sandwich, just ask for crispy so the cheese melts all the way! I love how there is a seasonal menu. The quality of the food is really fresh. I like how there are cleaner/healthier options. Although it is overpriced, I always seem to be taking half my sandwich home. I love the vibes in there, clean and fresh. I wish there were a couple more tables. When it's busy, there is no seating. For parking, it's street, so if you're on the go and rushing, good luck finding a parking spot. Overall, would recommend, it's nice to have a coffee shop in town with loads of for breakfast and lunch. read more

Terrible customer service. This was my 2nd time here and will be my last. I ordered online. The pickup time for the order was 12:05 PM. I arrived early and let them know that I was there. The young man working the counter indicated the order wasn't ready yet which was understandable as I was early. I continued to wait until 12:11 PM and then inquired about the order indicating that it was supposed to be ready at 12:05 PM. The same young man's response was "we've been extremely busy". It's great you are busy but when people are waiting for their order you need to keep them informed as to what is going on with their order. You do not give a rude response. I continue to wait. Other people are going in and out and food is being delivered to people outside. As I am waiting, the girl making the food, finishes making an order, bags it and places it up on a shelf. She never informs the two guys working the counter that an order is ready or looked to see if anyone happens to be waiting. Finally, the 2nd young man realizes that I have been in the store for at least 25 minutes and asks the other guy what I am waiting for. The kid quietly tells him, they look up on the shelf and see that an order is sitting there. They look at it and realize it's my order and then hand it to me. Ridiculous. Super clean, super well run - I'll be back again. Parking sucks which is a shame as it's a great location to drop in for an ice coffee after the beach for the drive home. But not sure what can be done about that. Will be back. read more

I am absolutely LOVING this new location of a great local brand. Servers are extremely friendly and prompt with orders. Coffee is for sure among the best of high-end shops on Long Island. There are several pastry items, including gluten-free. The shop is light and bright with a coastal-inspired color scheme. Outdoor seating is in front with several picnic tables and large umbrellas to stay cool. Nice place for a pre- or post-beach treat! read more

Stopped in to try the sandwiches. The chickpea salad sandwich is delicious and fresh. The avocado pesto grilled cheese was really good too. Both on sourdough bread. The sandwiches are a decent size and filling. Happy to have leftovers for later. It's nice to have another place in town that makes sandwiches other than the deli. Came here for a quick brunch and coffee. Let me start by saying the barista and staff are nice. The store is very clean. The coffee is delicious. They use high quality beans. The coffee was worth the price. As for the food: it's not something you can't make at your house. The ingredients are just fresh, that's all. We're just big coffee lovers, we're always looking for new coffee shops to try, always trying coffee from coffee shops we that we haven't been to. I always judge a coffee shop by the way their regular coffee taste (I judge the shops not by their fancy coffee drinks). Tried this Southdown coffee shop a week ago, back here again for the 2nd time, Monday 9/2, it's a 28 minutes drive for me, the verdict is in, I like this place. Their regular coffee, it's good. My wife tried their cappuccino, I watched the barista making the cappuccino, I was pretty impressed by the attention to detail the barista was putting on it, didn't catch his name, should have given him credit for it (I don't work in the coffee industry but I pull espresso shots at work and have tried my hand on latte art myself). I tasted the cappuccino he made for my wife and I liked it too. Wish they have A2 milk as an option. The sandwiches was pretty good too. Will be back again. I like the relaxed ambiance to this place, feels like I'm back on vacation in Aruba again, reminds me of Santos Coffee With Soul! read more
