I have long been a patron of 606 W. Missouri, but having moved on from Midland it has been awhile since I visited. My girlfriend and I popped in during a recent pub crawl in Midland, and the place still has it. Efficient service, a great vibe with the photos on the walls, great drinks, and peanuts & popcorn on which to snack. The menu is comprehensive, and the food is tasty. As a bar critic, I rate it as one of the top bars I have known. Keep on keeping on guys.

Steak fingers, Mac and green beans

Have been coming here since probably 2013, I have lots of friends in Midland and The Bar is always our #1 place to stop at when I visit! Everything is so good, especially if you like cheap drinks and good bar food! Service is always excellent. Steak fingers are the way to go, but can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Will always stop here when coming to Midland!!

Filet, green chili Mac n cheese

I love The Bar. I've been a handful of times, but this was the first time ordering food. Got lunch with coworkers, and we all got filets haha I ordered my bacon wrapped filet medium rare with green chili mac n cheese and steamed veggies. At ~$26, I thought it was a fair price for a filet and 2 sides! Can't wait to go back!

Gross Bathroom conditions - if bathroom vents look like this - what does the kitchen look like?

Place has been in Midland forever but restrooms are disgusting! Ceiling vents are caked with 10+ years of dust and debris. Makes you wonder what the kitchen and food storage areas look like.

Sirloin chopped steak with brown gravy and onions, mashed potatoes and fried okra

I highly recommend this place! We ordered the chop sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra and everything was amazing. Our server was nice wasnt a long wait and I loved the atmosphere. Out of every restaurant and we have eaten at here in West Texas so far this one has been the top. Not to mention the prices are even fair. Thank you

Best brunch in town at the best price! Get there before 10:45 on Saturday mornings for brunch for no wait. Bloody Mary's are better than the Mimosas. This place is a Midland establishment and if you want to experience what this town is all about, comer here! It's also a great place to grab a drink on the patio if weather's nice. Don't recommend sitting inside because it's too smoky.

I like this place. Always busy and sometimes hard to get service. Live band makes up for it. Nice for Midland.

Great food, drinks and entertainment!!! But the atmosphere is blah, way too much smoke and service is slower than it used to be.

I've never been somewhere that open d the whole bucket so "we don't take them with us?" Also, if you don't like cigarette smoke, than this is not a place for you.

So we opted to have it delivered with a food service app. For the appetizer we did the pick 3: Armadillo eggs (jalapeños willed with cream cheese and cheddar wrapped in bacon) boudin balls (sausage and rice balls deep fried) and jalapeno perogis. The Armadillo eggs had quite the kick. The boudon balls were very good. We loved the jalapeno perogis and would possibly just order that for our appetizer if there's a next time. Also side note: we got 3 Armadillo. 3 perogi, and only 2 boudin balls. For mains we had the Philly cheesesteak and Club sandwich both served with fries. They were good and we enjoyed them but nothing special about them that we couldn't find elsewhere. For dessert we had the coconut cheesecake empanada and it was very good especially with the sauce they give with it. This was something special and different. Worth the splurge. The food total prior to our delivery food service fees came to $57.41

This spot was amazing 10/10 will miss this food leaving more than anything. If they catered weddings we'd hire them. We had Alejandro and their manager was soso kind. If you are here as a resident or a visitor this is a MUST. We came back twice in one day like psycho paths. All food was to die for and their staff was phenomenal!! THIS IS A MUST!!

I am very happy that I found Saint Blaise as they hit all three of my marks for restaurants that I take customers to. Food: The food was great. I wanted to get the steak and potatoes but it was $50+ which I thought was a bit steep for just steak and potatoes. I opted for the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly with delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side that were also cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had a perfect consistency with a non-overwhelming sauce so also phenomenally done. The two drinks I got: Same Place and Maple Manhattan were well-made with each component complementing each other well and not overpowering one another. If you like tequila and manhattans I think you will be happy. Service: The servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit especially with the waters. Huge kudos! Ambiance: I will say because the inside space is a bit tight and small, having conversation when the restaurant was busy proved a bit difficult but if that is the case they do have seating right outside in the lobby area and having conversations there should not be an issue. I will make sure to be back with customers here!
