Bella (our waitress) was great! She gave us great recommendations which did not disappoint. The short rib poutine should be listed as a meal and not an appetizer. It is so filling and more than the four of us could share. It was delicious!! A must have but beware because it's a very large portion. The burgers are HUGE. It's big enough for two people to share - if you don't have a huge appetite. The Brussel sprouts are delicious!! Period. The lobster Mac and cheese was great. The lobster was poached and cooked perfectly. Again, a huge portion. Be hungry!!! My lychee martini was great!! I wish I could tell you about the steak but my daughter wouldn't share and ate it all. So I'll assume that was great too. The chocolate chip cookie dessert and carrot cake are delicious!!

    Awesome atmosphere.

The restaurant is a beautiful, elegant but cozy spot. The outdoor seating is absolutely beautiful for a nice evening. We were there right at opening and were seated outside fairly quickly! Our waiter was welcoming and pleasant. Wished me a happy birthday (multiple times) but nice. There was a cute birthday card at the table but nothing more (most high end establishments usually offer a glass of champs, but I digress ) The menu is moderate not overwhelming with too many options. How do you NOT start your meal with Oysters Rockefeller when they are on the menu? Great choice, they were creamy and delicious. I am typically not a pasta girl but something was calling me about the Mushroom Bolognese! So....I ordered it. Along with a glass of Filipa Pato, which was fabulous! The pasta was phenomenal and I don't use that word lightly, it was amazing. My friend ordered the Bobo's Two Pound Wok Fired Island Lobster and she loved it. She paired her meal with a Smokey old fashioned. No notes! So after a great meal we a bought the check and offer up two cards for our separate checks. Somehow our waiter ends up charging both checks to my credit card. I didn't realize it until the next day. How does that happen. An almost perfect review, but attention to detail matters. Would I return, absolutely! Go enjoy!

We were in MV for a girls trip and I'm so glad we celebrated our last night at 19 Raw. I…read morerecommended this restaurant to my friends based on the reviews and it did not disappoint - the food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. To start, a couple of us ordered oysters as an appetizer and they were delicious, fresh and tasty. For our main courses, we ordered filet mignon, chicken, lobster tagliatelle and tuna from the diverse menu. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered a few sides, such as the roasted carrots with cashew butter, brussel sprouts with pork landons and my favorite - the scallion goat cheese mash, which were mashed potatoes packed with yumminess! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service, while the ambience was quite comfortable and inviting. I remembered reading reviews about the carrot cake and although we were all full, we knew we had to try it so we got one slice for the five of us and it may have been the best carrot cake I've ever eaten. If you like carrot cake this is a must and well worth it. If you're in Edgartown, I would definitely include 19 Raw in your restaurant list.

We started with the lobster and caviar Hawaiian roll, which was flavorful and delicious. The grilled octopus served over pork and white beans was another standout--the flavor profile here was top tier. Honestly, the appetizers had me expecting the rest of the meal to be on the same level. Unfortunately, the entrées were a different story. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly temperature-wise, but the lack of seasoning was unbelievable. The execution was there, but it desperately needed flavor. We also ordered the halibut, which was extremely dry--to the point that I couldn't finish it. The sides brought things back around. The jalapeño corn and Brussels sprouts were both and packed with flavor. And then there was the Filthy Dirty Rich Martini with caviar-stuffed olives --AMAZING. Easily one of the highlights of the night and something I would absolutely order again. Overall, 19 Raw nails the ambiance, cocktails, appetizers, and service. The appetizers in particular showed just how good the kitchen can be, which made the disappointing entrées even more surprising. I'd come back, but next time I might stick to cocktails, appetizers, and small plates.

A surprisingly disappointing experience at an upscale restaurant:…read moreI almost never leave negative reviews, especially for upscale restaurants, but my experience tonight was so far below expectations that I feel I need to share it. The Hen of the Woods appetizer was dry, brittle, and nearly flavorless -- more like straw than a thoughtfully prepared dish. Without the green peppercorns and Dijon mustard I happened to have with me, it would have been inedible. The Duck Confit was similarly disappointing: overcooked, dry, and again nearly impossible to enjoy without the condiments I brought. Service issues added to the frustration. The red Burgundy wine I ordered didn't arrive until nearly dessert, even after I asked another server to remind my server to bring it. Dessert came with only half a cup of decaf coffee and no cream, despite my request. Overall, I felt ignored rather than cared for. What should have been a highlight of my vacation became one of its lowest points. I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because the experience did not match the level of quality or hospitality one should expect at this price point. All of the appetizers came lukewarm. And the main dish (also lukewarm) took more than 15 mins to arrive when we were already done with the appetizers. There appears to have been a change of staff and only after I asked what was taking so long, a new waiter was assigned. I do appreciate that the manager did come to apologize about the mishap on the staff shift and provided a credit on the main meal. I'm going to chuck this to a one-off and will still want to try them again on a future visit

The restaurant has an eclectic, relaxed atmosphere with a strong selection of food and cocktails. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered the birria taco along with one of my favorites...a margarita. Because really, can you have Mexican food without a margarita? Both hit the spot, and I really enjoyed my meal. The restaurant stayed busy throughout my visit, but there's plenty of seating inside, and I especially liked the indoor/outdoor setup of the bar. It gives the space an open, casual feel that's perfect for grabbing a drink, having a meal, or hanging out for a while. The bartenders were another highlight. Even with a steady crowd, both were welcoming and attentive, and I enjoyed chatting with them while I ate. If you want to switch things up--Midnight Taco is a fun find for Mexican food, cocktails, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'll happily take a birria taco and margarita combination any day!

The Firebird cocktail I ordered delighted the entire crowd, since it comes out in a Polynesian head and is aflame. The lobster on little tacos. (We were there for 3 hours since the weather was wet and we were talking up our own storm.) My friend knows many good establishments on MV and 9 Craft certainly is. After popping into some boutique shops we asked a local about places to dine and she recommended this restaurant. It is attached to a very nice hotel. We enjoyed the ambiance. The food was just okay. I had their Cod and my husband had the burger. We also shared their Bibb and Blue salad and Key Lime Pie for dessert. Service was excellent! We sat at one of their long communal tables. A bit on the expensive side but I think pretty standard compared to other restaurants we have dined at. I will say I wish they had a better wine and cocktail program. The wines I tried were just okay and not worth the price they charged. But still a good place to go for a last minute dinner. Cheers!
