This place is unbelievable! We made a reservation for 11 on a Saturday night. Due to the group size, we could only order from a group dining menu, which had plenty of options for us to choose from. The food is incredible, and the portions are humungous. Cocktails are unique but I especially loved the espresso martini shots we got to finish the night. Our waitress was very kind, and the food came out relatively quickly. The inside is small. Not a ton of searing, so would definitely recommend making a reservation. Very classy but modern ambiance inside. Would recommend to anyone dining on the island!

The port hunter is always a must for us when on island. The oysters to start were shucked perfectly, we loved the vinaigrette served with. We got the burrata app, when I say this is THE BEST burrata I've ever had I'm not joking. I am obsessed with burrata and eat it regularly, this was perfection. I got the tuna carpaccio as my meal, the serving was plentiful and delish! My boyfriend got the hangar steak which was cooked to his liking and the croquettes were Overall a must on MV! Get the burrata!

Whoever priced these at $38 should be charged with culinary fraud. They taste like the result of a bet to see how bad food can be before someone complains.

Wonderful date night while we were on MV with family. Delicious, Efficient, ease of parking (near a public lot) and nice ambiance. My husband loved the tuna steak. I loved the scallop special. Key Lime desert looked simple but tasted special- perfect ending. Service was en pointe.

I loved the vibe in this restaurant. It was a dark atmosphere, brick walls, and beautiful artwork. There was a bar area as well as normal seating. I came here with my family and they loved the Buffalo Brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese and the fish tacos. We also got the octopus appetizer which was really good but a very small portion. Prices are extremely steep but that's normal for any restaurant on the island. Service was great.

This place is clearly very popular because there was a queue outside the restaurant before it opened for 5:30 p.m. dinner service on a very rainy Saturday night. Once open, the restaurant quickly filled up with diners. Tables tend to be closer together because of how busy it gets, and there are a lot of hard surfaces, meaning things can get a little loud. Service was the right level of attentive: staff were very friendly and they were good about clearing plates and utensils when it's clear diners are done eating. The daily fish specials are posted on a chalkboard inside. Overall, the food was very good. The buffalo brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese were very good but for $18? Feels steep. My husband enjoyed his tuna, which was served like an elevated poke bowl and had Asian influences. I got the seared cut cod special, and enjoyed the sweet corn and mushroom risotto that came on the side: it was appropriately warm and cozy feeling for the rainy day, and brightened by the bursts of sweet freshness from the corn.

Food: menu is ordinary, nothing really stood out for me. It feels like a combination of American food mixed in some seafood because why not, they are after all in MV, but have to add on something exotic like an elote. I did end up getting an elote because, like I said, the most exotic thing on the menu. Glad I ordered them because the flavors were phenomenal. For my main menu, I just got a tuna tartare on top of crispy rice with ponzu sauce. Kind of disappointing...the crispy rice was not crispy at all. It was more like seared rice. I like the crunch factor and it missed miserably. Overall, the tuna tartare was ok. This was an appetizer that I turned into a main course because nothing on the menu really screamed out to me "try me!!!" Oh I forgot, we ordered the focaccia bread...it looked like crostini bread. I was expecting something else. It was blah, nothing exciting about it. My fiancé ordered the burger and it looked decent. It sure filled him up. Would we come back here...we tried it once and I think once is enough. The ambiance was great though. If they have happy hour, then sure maybe this would be a good place to meet up with friends or coworkers for drinks and appz. Service: our server was friendly and there were multiple servers that helped out with moving the dishes. There was a consistent attention to every table, which I appreciate. It shows team work.

Excellent service, food and cocktails!!! Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We ate outdoors. It was a lovely evening. Our wonderful server was Natalie. We started out with Cocktails- a Cucumber Cleanse and a Phil Collins. Both drinks were wonderful! Entrées consisted of a yellow fin tuna with bok choy and a burger. The yellow fin tuna was one of the best entrées I ever had ! The flavorings beautifully complemented each other. My friend loved his burger! Taking a half a star off-Restroom could've been cleaner. Parking is available on the street and in some area lots. Otherwise, I truly love this restaurant! 4.5 STARS!

First off, we were just so glad to find some place that was open on a weeknight in the offseason. So thank you right off the bat for being open! The beer menu was kinda small and just a couple pale ales so I skipped drinks but my wife had a cocktail that was fairly decent. Some of the apps looked good but we were hungry so went right for entrees. I had the chicken sandwich. This seemed simple but was actually incredible. I'm so glad it was grilled and not fried. The harissa was there but i would've actually wanted even more of it. I was so appreciative of how little fat was actually on the bacon, it was a great cut and full of flavor. The aioli was also an interesting - feel like everyone does pesto or a spicy aioli but the chive aioli was really cool. I would 100% get this again. My wife got the fish tacos which were good too but not as distinctive as other options. Main downside for me was the priciness of it all, the chicken sandwich was great but not all that reasonably priced in my opinion.

Dinner tonight at the Port Hunter was split. The burger and fish tacos were 10/10, tasted amazing. The chicken and chicken sandwich were just alright. Although we made a reservation well in advance since they fill up a few days before, we weren't aware the menu was going to be so limited that they didn't have any steaks and mainly just sandwiches and a few seafood dishes. This would have been nice to know beforehand. We also would've really liked to sit outside because it was so loud inside. Unfortunately the service was terrible. The waitress came so few times it was hard to order food and drinks and she didn't come back until after we had eaten our food even though they forgot several items. We were pretty much stuck with what we got. The desert options weren't great either. The whoopie pie was dry but the cream part was good. It was definitely overpriced for the overall experience but the burger and fish tacos were really good.

Have a beer with friends or a well mixed cocktail. Central location and friendly service. The good is great for fresh oysters and pub food but don't expect the world from the menu. It's a high end pub. The space is large and a fun place to meet up with friends and family. Best to go just straight in and not try for reservation.

SERVICE (4/5): There weren't many tables, but service was good. We weren't in a rush and taking our time, so it was the perfect pace for us. FOOD (5/5): EVERYTHING WAS A 10/10! $4 EACH PER OYSTER: we tried the signature, honeysuckle, and top shell. They were all delicious and served with a vinegar, kimchee slaw, and cocktail sauce. All of them were so refreshing and great as an appetizer! $23 TUNA CARPACCIO: fresh, lemon sauce & crunchy tobiko eggs. The presentation is immaculate! $22 BLUE CRAB SLIDER: the homemade chips it comes with is AMAZING! Love any homemade chips. Served on a sweet Hawaiian roll, it's beautifully plated and blue crab is better than lobster in my opinion! $15 HOUSE MADE CHOWDER: can't go wrong with chowder! $36 HERB BAKED COD: so perfectly seasoned and cooked so it's soft but flaky. Comes à la carte. DRINKS (5/5): $19 PUMPKIN ESPRESSO MARTINI: this was a seasonal drink and it was SOOO GOOD! $20 BACON OLD FASHIONED: this was EVEN BETTER than the pumpkin martini! I went with a group of girlfriends on Tuesday night and we had a great evening. While my preference is to sit on the patio for lunch, the dining room is a wonderful vibe at dinner. I loved my pork chop that I ordered for my main course and also thoroughly enjoyed the steamed asparagus, roasted carrots and smoked tomato grits. Our waiter, Nash, was a standout and really facilitated a smooth dining experience. We ordered a few desserts to share but the clear winner was the carrot cake which was a knock out.
