We have been coming to 19 raw for the past couple of summers but we have only ever eaten there for lunch so I was excited to try it for dinner. I went with a group of girlfriends on Tuesday night and we had a great evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While my preference is to sit on the patio for lunch, the dining room is a wonderful vibe at dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I loved my pork chop that I ordered for my main course and also thoroughly enjoyed the steamed asparagus, roasted carrots and smoked tomato grits. Our waiter, Nash, was a standout and really facilitated a smooth dining experience. We ordered a few desserts to share but the clear winner was the carrot cake which was a knock out. We will be back for lunch this summer but are also thrilled to have this on our list for dinner.

Just stopped in for drinks and it's a MUST!!! Delicious & fun! Frank (the host) is so kind & fun!

**BEST MEAL EVER** AMBIANCE (4/5): [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a nice sunny day and they had plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and people watch (although there weren't many people walking by).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] SERVICE (4/5): There weren't many tables, but service was good. We weren't in a rush and taking our time, so it was the perfect pace for us. FOOD (5/5): EVERYTHING WAS A 10/10! $4 EACH PER OYSTER: we tried the signature, honeysuckle, and top shell. They were all delicious and served with a vinegar, kimchee slaw, and cocktail sauce. All of them were so refreshing and great as an appetizer! $23 TUNA CARPACCIO: fresh, lemon sauce & crunchy tobiko eggs. The presentation is immaculate! $22 BLUE CRAB SLIDER: the homemade chips it comes with is AMAZING! Love any homemade chips. Served on a sweet Hawaiian roll, it's beautifully plated and blue crab is better than lobster in my opinion! $15 HOUSE MADE CHOWDER: can't go wrong with chowder! $36 HERB BAKED COD: so perfectly seasoned and cooked so it's soft but flaky. Comes à la carte. DRINKS (5/5): $19 PUMPKIN ESPRESSO MARTINI: this was a seasonal drink and it was SOOO GOOD! $20 BACON OLD FASHIONED: this was EVEN BETTER than the pumpkin martini! Candied bacon, and a perfectly crafted cocktail.

Fish of the day, amazing and lemony and two people could share

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a fantastic place to go as a large group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The snapper could feed three people and was crispy but also delicate, the lamb was cooked perfectly, the fish of the day was fresh and lemony. The curry mussels were so good everyone was using the sauce on other items. We had a 10 person group and everyone got to share. Surprisingly, my favorite item was the carrots side. It had a delicious sauce and was tender and sweet. The broccolini would have been good but it was very undercooked and hard to eat. The crawfish and lobster pasta was overcooked and a little mushy. Those are the only two items out of a ton of items that I didn't like. Everything else was delicious and I would order again. I would also go back and try other things on the menu that we didn't get.

I visited this place last summer and had an amazing experience. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor -- especially the halibut, which was my favorite dish. The cocktails were excellent, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere was absolutely perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was warm and welcoming. Truly one of my favorite dining experiences. I will definitely be back!

This place was great! The food was delicious, portions were great, staff were friendly, and very much worth the price point. Lobster salad was a HUGE portion and had at least 4 whole lobster claws and even more lobster meat throughout the whole salad - so worth it. Steak on the Filet Mignon sandwich was tender and the caesar salad and clam chowder were good too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outside patio area is much nicer in my opinion than the inside area, with plenty of umbrellas for shade if needed, so definitely worth getting a table out there on a nice day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was the best meal I've had in a long time. Came with a group of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids) sadly the restaurant doesn't take reservations so we were quoted about a 30-45 min wait. 49 mins later, we were sat! Given the large group, I thought it was going to take a long time for the food and drinks to come but everything was so prompt and timely. The food quality was some of the best I've had in a while! My recommendations: -lobster salad -pork belly Mac & cheese -blackberry old fashion -sriracha fries (AMAZING! Perfectly crispy and flavored) - New York Strip Everything was soooooo good. Haven't eaten that well in a long time.

We enjoyed our night at 19 Raw. This was our second visit to the island and second time at the restaurant - we made it a point to visit from Oak Bluffs. Since there are no reservations, we had to wait about an hour to be sat. Once we were finally seated, we were excited to eat. We specifically remembered the shrimp, crab and lobster ceviche from our last visit, so we reordered and it was good, although not as good as we remembered. The bacon was new to us, but it was just alright. It's not thick cut bacon and it might be slightly candied, so there wasn't much special about it- we probably wouldn't order again. I ordered the duck breast, which was great. My boyfriend's cod was just alright. The real star of the show was the roasted carrots with cashew butter. Those were fantastic! The side potatoes were also amazing. We would likely come back again, although we would really consider whether the wait and price are worth it.

Best food on this island, located near the main line. The waitress was very polite and cracked a lot of jokes. Service was great. Live a little and add the caviar bumps to martinis and oysters!

I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant. I wish that we can return but it's on Martha's Vineyard and we were just visiting for a couple of days. We took a nice stroll from our hotel and arrived five minutes before they opened on a Friday afternoon. It's a first come first serve basis and boy do they get busy quick! Service was excellent with attention to detail and timing. We ordered the lump crab appetizer and French onion soup to share. OH MY GOD:: I can't believe I'm saying this buts it's by far the BEST French onion soup I've had and I've had Many Great ones. This soup MAY make me take another ferry ride just to have seconds. I ordered the herb cod and he the prime rib sandwich. My cod was cooked to PERFECTION! Haven't had cod cooked like that before but one Down side was that pollen was falling from the tree and I couldn't tell if I was eating the herbed part or morsel from a fallen tree above. Lol. But definitely a wonderful experience & I hope to return again one day.

Quaint spot with amazing seafood. Loved the broth with the mussels. Such great flavor! Ménage a trois was over the top and tasted so fresh. We also enjoyed the ahi carpaccio and wonderful drinks. Will be thinking about this experience for a while and will come back for sure next time in town.

Our server made several mistakes throughout the evening and had an unexpectedly aggressive attitude. He forgot my sister's wine twice, brought out an incorrect order, and mishandled my mom's dessert request. There was also confusion around the dessert order. My mom wanted one scoop of gelato and asked about the available flavors. The server was very unclear, using "sorbet" and "gelato" interchangeably throughout the conversation. In the end, she ordered one scoop of "lemon gelato," as he described it, which should have been $3. So we were surprised when the bill came and showed a $14 charge for lemon sorbet--which wasn't even listed on the menu. When we pointed this out, the server responded in a pretty surly manner, though the charge was eventually corrected. After we paid, he brought over a scoop of vanilla gelato and said it was "on him," but the delivery felt sarcastic and he placed it on the table quite aggressively. By that point, we were already full and honestly just ready to leave. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the poor service really put a damper on the evening and left us ending the night on a negative note. Since we were a party of six, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, which was unfortunate given the level of service we received.

While I can appreciate the choose your own adventure / tasting concept and benefits of moving at your own pace, wine tasting is something where I'd prefer to have more of a personal touch. The storytelling and personal connection was missing, and made the experience feel a bit hollow. The space was a nice open hang and there's snacks and games, and there is staff there, but the experience made me realize I prefer a guided human tour for some things, wine tasting being one of them. Prices also snuck up on us a bit, it's easy to lose count of how many you've had with the card reader. I was also a bit bummed to find that if you liked a wine you cannot purchase a bottle on site.
