The soft refreshments we ordered were flat. Waitress mentioned other drinks available such as lemonade and iced tea. She did not mention that it was unsweetened. It was also watery. The fries I ordered were crispy borderline over done. The party I was with, finished their food before the waitress came back to the outdoor seating to ask us if everything was ok. I would not recommend

The Whole Shabang - excellent array of food to share!

Service and food were excellent! Would recommend for breakfast. We had the Whole Shabang and it was delicious.

Black Dog Pub, Oak Bluffs

New place in Oak Bluffs this year but unfortunately the service is non-existent. None of the beers are cold and the place was almost completely empty. We left rather than order dinner. Can't recommend it.

The next thing you'll notice is that the staff is very friendly and really trying to manage the chaos that is being caused by a chaotic kitchen. We were seated directly in-front of the kitchen, so we saw everything: - two or three wait staff anxiously waiting for orders in front of the service station (pick-up) area; - a chef continually looking at an inappropriate movie that was playing on a screen that was oddly positioned where the kitchen staff could view it (WHY) - a kitchen staff that was either doing nothing or working frantically - this is an indication of very poor management; - mediocre appetizers but passable - the entrées were ridiculously poor. I'll only describe mine to save time, but trust each of four were failures. The nerve to send to the table a beautiful piece of blue fin tuna that smelled like the gas used by a small propane gun, that had been partially burned - like on 1/2 of the fish. This shows zero respect for this beautiful creature or the people who ordered it. The lobster risotto that was beneath the fish was cold, lacked any flavor of lobster, and looked as though it had been thrown on the plate from across the room, and then to have the nerve to charge $60 + dollars is ridiculous. We of course requested to speak with the manager, who immediately came to our table, empathized and apologized, we felt heard. He then comped our entire meal which was very generous and appreciated. The chef then came over to apologize, and stated, "I'm so sorry, we dropped a pan and that threw everything off". WHAT? Buddy, we sat there and watched the chaos in your kitchen. The problemS, are not the result of a dropped pan. Apology appreciated, lame excuse was unnecessary and again demonstrated a lack of respect or intelligence. I may return alone, just to see if anything has changed or what show is on the TV.

Perfect location, incredible vibes, delicious food, and a top-tier, relaxed staff. Be sure to tip CeeCee wellshe deserves it! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Martha's Vineyard. Not much flavor to the Mahi or sauce itself. My friend enjoyed his Fish & Chips which seemed pretty decent. For drinks, I got their Coconut Mojito which was good for my first one. Then the second order got really watered down. My friend found his Pineapple Mule super sweet and ok. Overall, a fun casual place to enjoy outdoor dining but with mediocre food and drinks.

So glad we found it ... on a very calm street... close to the park very little car traffic going by the outdoor patio! The staff greeted us warmly... welcomed our pup and seated us within minutes! A server greeted us instantly and took our drink order and even asked if we needed a nice fresh bowl of water for our puppy!! Extra Points just for acknowledging the fur-babies!! The lunch menu has an exceptional selection of seafood, fish, chicken and even a few beef dishes!! We ordered and the food was out hot and fresh within 10 minutes!! They even grilled a plain /no salt breast of chicken for our puppy too! Everything was delicious!! The fries that accompanied the sandwiches were out of this world! Usually never finish even half our fries but these were so good we finished one small bucket and nearly all of the second !! Definitely worth a try - casual, relaxing and delicious!!

Thanks to yelp, I stumbled upon the shuck shack... easy to mix so check out the photos! This place has a true New England feel, with great views for people watching and beautiful scenery of the water and boats. The environment is very lively and they have a selection of raw and cooked seafood. I took a seat at the few stools at the bar, ordered a drink, clams, and shrimp. The shrimp were large and delicious! I also liked option to order half or full dozen. The clams, to my surprise, were shucked right in front of me.. great touch but word of advice.. don't make my mistake. There is a RAW section and COOKED section on menu and yes to my surprise, I accidentally ordered calms from the raw menu.. never knew raw clams were a thing ::cringe:: and after one try- definitely not a win for me.
