I am extremely disappointed... My friend and I tried to request a song to the crappy DJ and we rly tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but he SUCKED!!!!! We requested it like 45 minutes before it closed too and he never played it. On top of that I walked out with my drink that I paid $20 for plus tax and the security grabbed my arm aggressively and pulled me back and took it from me after me saying "it's fine I don't want it you can take it." Like ok hold on... The drink was absolutely disgusting and I didn't even want it and also NO ONE WAS THERE so he could literally have just been like "excuse me you can't walk out with that" and I would have gladly handed it over. Four coin op bar tables $1 in quarters. Two 7 foot tables. Change machine near ATM. Three dart boards. Shuffleboard. Equipment is in poor condition. Problem is that it's a club. After 10pm-ish, it's dark with neon lights and super loud thumping music. It was obnoxiously packed Sunday night, but if a dance club is what you want... thats what you'll get. Had 22 of us there the Friday after Thanksgiving. Some played pool, darts, ate a ton of pizza and really had a blast of a time! The venue is large but with the mix of games, pool tables and other arcade games the space is well thought out and works perfect for large or small parties. Can't wait to return. read more

I'm not sure if the security guard was racist or just had it out for me in particular. But he told my friend to notbpose on the pool table, to which we complied. Then he came back a minute later and said I made "a face" to him. And for that he kicked me out. I asked for the manager and he threatened the cops, to which I said to call because I knew exactly what he was trying to do. The manager came over and was a blonde woman who looked incredible intoxicated and she said if he kicked me out then what's done is done and she threatened the cops against me too. I decided to leave and even talked to the cops outside who agreed that's the situation was ridiculous but I wasn't interested in going back. I just can't believe in this day and age there's this much unprofessionalism, my experience was downright inappropriate and you would think talking to the manager would be the right move. They seemed to be as incompetent as the security. The security guard got incredibly aggressive and called a few of the other security guards even though I was more than compliant because I'm just not an aggressive person. This is a great place to just drink but if you want a place to stay or at least enjoy, I'd never come here. Absolutely disgusting behavior from the entire staff. read more

I grew up on the vineyard and have been going to the loft for years. The past few times I've gone I've noticed the staff, especially the "security" staff, has been unwelcoming, aggressive and racist. After my last experience I am NEVER going back to this establishment again. I took a couple of my friends who came to visit the vineyard for the first time and we got aggressively kicked out and had the cops called on us for absolutely no reason. None of us were belligerent or doing anything that would warrant the response from the bouncers downstairs. I had gone outside to check on a friend and I was coming back in, when I saw my friend, who is African American, come down the stairs with her drink to check on me (let me note that she had ASKED the bouncer upstairs if she could go down with it, and he said yes) when she got a few steps down from the exit she stopped (because we are all aware we can't have drinks outside) and one of the bouncers started screaming at her to get upstairs. Confused as to why, given the fact that she was just told it was not a problem, she hesitated for a minute, the bouncer proceeded to grab her drink and spilled it all over her. There were also other people on the stairs but she was explicitly targeted. The other bouncer, white and in his mid 40/50, immediately proceeded to say we were done and was calling the cops even though we never stepped foot outside the establishment, we said no problem and calmly waited for them to arrive. I Asked the name of the bouncers several times and they refused to give them to us - to the owners of the lounge, please train your staff to treat your customers with decency and respect, better yet get yourself new bouncers, because there are some things that can't be taught (especially considering that a good portion of your customer base are people of color). I am beyond embarrassed and furious that a vineyard business would continue to operate in this manner. This is not the first time I have heard of situations like the one I described. The way we were treated was completely unacceptable and like I mentioned before, I plan on taking my business elsewhere. Management - I hope you take these manners very seriously and hope issues like these are addressed with your staff. read more

I went here for a wedding dinner party and was surprised to find a hip club in the vineyard. They have good selection of arcade games, pool and shuffleboard. The menu is more than just pubfood. They had general gau's chicken that oddly might be some of the best I've had. read more

When we first came here a couple of years ago, we loved it! It was great to have a place to play pool and darts on a rainy afternoon. However, they've lost their identity along the way. Last year, we arrived in the late evening looking forward to pool, and found that all the tables get covered and it becomes a club at night. OK...I don't love it, and electronica isn't my thing, so we'll head elsewhere. This year we tried it again on a rainy day and were truly disappointed. The equipment hasn't been maintained at all. Almost every stick was missing the rubber piece at the bottom, making them unbalanced. Several were also missing tips. Some of the pool balls were actually cracked with gouges taken out. And the music was electronica and deafening, in the middle of the day. Drinks were tiny and the staff was apathetic at best. Just not worth it anymore. read more

We returned to the cape after 28 years to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! The Loft made this trip memorable! The hostess and wait staff were extremely friendly and genuinely concerned about our experience. It was obvious the wait staff were experienced even in their questions regarding preferences for cocktail preparation. A co owner Kathy, checked on us during our first visit Tuesday. Our experience was so perfect, we returned on Thursday. On Thursday, Kevin, the other co owner, greeted us as we arrived. We loved the atmosphere: low lights, soft music yet casual and appropriate for families, which was welcome after a day on the beach. Phillip, on Tuesday, and Nash, on Thursday, were excellent in serving us. My husband had the shrimp scampi on Tuesday and loved it. He ordered it again on Thursday!! I had the seafood fra diavolo which was delicious! (I avoid gluten and was able to order this with gluten free pasta). On Thursday, I had the steak tips which were delicious.Nash, our server, arranged for a different vegetable for me as I didn't care for the vegetable of the day. The portions were generous. I had leftovers to take for another meal. We found the prices reasonable for the area. The meals averaged $22 and we had paid that for fried seafood meals at seafood shacks in the area. We preferred eating a well prepared, delicious, meal in a soothing environment with friendly, attentive, staff for a comparable price! Both Kathy and Kevin made our 30th anniversary trip to Cape Cod a special memory!! read more
