The crowd is a bit young which surprised me because the smoking law has changed to 21+up. The man who seated us was very welcoming. We sat in the back patio area, nice and secluded. The babaganoush was fantastic! We also ordered the cheese appetizer plate which is HUGE and yummy . I had a chopped summer salad, which was good but could do without the bell peppers in my opinion. My friend and I come here often and we usually have a great experience however tonight will be our last. Our hookah had a bad taste after a few minutes of smoking but we didn't want to mention it or make a big deal. When we called the charcoal guy to possibly blow it out in hopes of fixing it, I suggested that it may have been slightly overpacked. His response was "I packed it. I know what I packed" with attitude, as though there's no way he could have messed it up. He then told us the flavor he packed and it was NOT what we had ordered! He then handed it back and said, "there's nothing I can do". We didn't ask for a repack or anything. But we did mention it to the waitress at the end, just so she knew she got the wrong order.. and instead of simply apologizing for it, she gave us attitude and basically said it was our fault somehow. Even though again, we did not ask for anything because of it. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. We were also seated for over an HOUR without her ever approaching us to ask how things were. She only took our order and we never saw her again until we had to call her over for the check. When I mentioned this, her response was "we don't like to bother our customers." When she brought our check at the end, she finally did apologize by saying "im sorry you felt that way". You're sorry I felt that you messed up my order? This was by far the worst customer service we've ever experienced and will definitely not be coming back. read more

We came here for hookah and dinner last night and were surprised by how nice this little hole in the wall is. We wrote our names down on the waiting list and were seated in 10 minutes. The food is great, the employees are super friendly, and they have the best hookah around by a long shot. There's plenty of parking on the street, but keep an eye out for speeding traffic since there is no crosswalk. After a year long hiatus due to unkown city involvement, Atmosphere is thankfully back up and running. Their John's Chicken burger is amazing and the hookah is on point. However, what really grinds my gears is that as a dedicated customer who is there quite often, I was recently told to either get a new "pack" or to leave after being there for three hours. Granted it was on a friday night with numerous tables open and no line outside, I thought that was kind of a crappy thing to do on behlaf of management. I have gone to this place twice, two weeks apart. The first time it was hard to get the attention of the staff. Every time I'd want to ask a question they seemed bothered I was even talking. The second time was the final straw for me when I attempted to speak to an employee and he totally ignored me and then an employee sat down and played nardi instead of helping me out with my request of changing the TV to watch a game. I come here all the time & I have to say that this lounge is exceptional! All of the workers at atmosphere are extremely nice and professional. They all know how to treat their customers and are always on top of the business. Their food & hookah are better than any other place I've tried. Everything on the menu, including their guacamole is home made by the chef. The owner/manager, Arbi is so welcoming and makes you feel like home with his exceptional service. He thrives to make the lounge & his business a better place to be each & every day. Litol is definitely the sweetest waitress & makes sure everyone gets what they want on time & to perfection. All of the hookah boys make sure to pack their hookahs to perfection & unlike other hookah lounges, their hookahs last for hours. The menu offers American and Persian/Mediterranean food but the American food (burgers!) is what the kitchen at Atmosphere really excels at. Great outdoor seating/patio area with hookah and TVs.
