Decided to check this place out while I had my car worked on. First and foremost I think it's a great little spot for some outdoor dining. Huge area that was part of their parking but is converted to outdoor dining. I thought it was more of a pick up spot or to go spot, but they actually do put a lot of attention into the detail as far as dining in. Staff was super friendly when I let them know. It was my first time. Walked up to the counter and the gentleman walked me through the menu and I decided to go with just a traditional chicken kebab. At first, the prices seem on the higher side. Remember you're in Glendale so there's lots of cheaper options out there, but the Quality did speak for itself. Chicken kebab came with a good amount of juicy chicken thigh pieces a decent size amount of rice, the traditional grilled veggies, but two sides as well. I chose the hummus and the Armenian salad. Food here is immaculate and delicious. Mahi mahi fish tacos are on point, but the sour cream is a bit much on there. Truffle burger is also delicious but a bit undercooked as I asked for medium rare. What a disappointment! The place was as empty as they are in the pictures here on Yelp and I get why. The people that work there barely speak English and have no interest in coming to your table to ask if you want something. I was there for 3 hours yesterday and in that entire time the waitress came over 3 times. Clueless about their own place doesn't even come close. It took them 20 minutes and me asking them twice just to find out what kind of Vodka they serve and the only way they could do it was bringing the bottle to the table. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning and the patio is just gorgeous. I am seriously considering having my birthday here in Feb. They have a private parking lot and the prices are about right. The cuisine is Mediterranean (Armenian/Lebanese) and I am a sucker for Armenian food. Review solely based on spicy chicken sandwich - Spicy chicken sandwich was overpowered by the sauce. Salty. Patty was thin. More breaded than it had chicken. Kings kitchen is a hip restaurant thats located in glendale. One of the things I liked as soon as i went here was the outdoor eating area its really nice. They have a ton of places to take pics at for social media and the whole arrangement is really nice. I tried the burger from here and I liked how the patty tasted. It was cooked good and had a unique flavor that I enjoyed. But If you come here try the chicken soltani it has a combination of two different meats that you will love. This is an armenian food joint and you will love it. The spices that they use are unique to their culture and have food tasting really good. Make sure to get the hummus that thing is bomb. Kings kitchen is my new favorite spot to visit! The restaurant is so beautiful with options to sit indoor or outdoor! The outdoor space is stunning with plenty of picture perfect moments just waiting to happen! The staff is lovely, and went above and beyond to accommodate our visit! The food is locally sourced, organic, and grass fed which is amazing! We ordered the Truffle Burger with fries, and the Shrimp Tacos with a side salad... and let me say they did not disappoint! The food is amazing here! The service too! They were so accommodating and we didn't feel rushed to leave after the meal. We ate a lot! The back patio/seating area looks beautiful and I bet it's even more beautiful at night. We got here in the midday and we ordered a lot off the menu. We wanted to try as much as we could, and I'm glad that we did. The food was all perfectly cooked and the flavors all so very good! The area wasn't the greatest but don't let that discourage you from going. It's on a corner street and the black and white decor will stand out. This place clearly takes pride in the dishes that they put out and in the service that they provide. Me and my daughter had a fabulous lunch date here! I really appreciate the special parking lot for customers. It's literally saved my life because I had a rambunctious toddler with me! They're located along Main Street and easily visible on a street corner. It's a relatively small location though, so don't blink or you may drive right past it. I called out from the front and was greeted by a gentleman from the back. I ordered the King's Kale salad and added salmon along with the beet salad. The flavors on both were excellent. The dressing complemented the greens exceptionally well. However, one problem with the salmon. It wasn't cooked thoroughly. The place has a cool and stylish ambiance that is a bit out of time, but also plenty of outdoor space. I did only take a takeout: The King's Filet Mignon Steak sandwich has a delicious meat/cheese/onion component, but the sandwich is too dry - what a pity. The walnut salad is a great fresh combination - but it would benefit from a double dose of dressing. Again, what a pity. But all in all, still pretty good. This was my first time here and the experience was excellent. I was greeted by a nice lady who helped me. I had a few questions about the menu and she walked me through all the options.
