excellent Steak!

Lolas is best Peruvian restaurant has the best food and ambiance, plus they even allow dogs, which is why I keep coming back to Glendale. The ambiance here is just perfect. The hospitality on Friday night is simply amazing, with music that transports you to the streets of Lima.

Aji de Gallina - delicious!
Diana H.

This is for Doordash so I can only describe the food which was outstanding! My favorite Peruvian dish is Aji de Gallina and Lola's made is to perfection! So much I could not finish, though I tried! Such a creamy sauce, so much chicken and the perfect spice. OMG. When I am here I am ordering this every time! I topped this off with the crocante de lucuma which I had never tasted before. I LOVE finding new things and this one made the best of this year... Just think, a butterscotch flavored fruit that is fibre rich and good for you made into a mousse pie! HEAVEN! Definitely suggest you try this amazing dessert! Loved this meal!

Can't believe we are just discovering this gem. Food was great. The service was fantastic. The dining space is clean. calamari= yum lomo=yum bread= yum we asked for refill Friday nights they have live music.

Quinoa cau-cau and fried plantains. Delicious.
Lucine O.

I ordered the quinoa cau-cau and my friend and I shared the platanos fritos with my friend. The fried plantains were fairly standard, but the cau-cau was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I have never had cau-cau before but I was absolutely delighted by my meal. The flavor was amazing (the balance of spices was on point) and the meal was incredibly light. I loved the combination of vegetables with quinoa as well. 10/10 recommend. Price is medium-tier but the portion size was pretty good and kept me full for a good while. Staff were kind and food was prepared quickly.

LOMO SALTADO

Lola's has been on my bookmark for a while now, so I was really excited to try it with my friend today. Lola's is in the heart of Brand Ave. And as soon as you go inside, it's definitely a vibe. We started with bread and the ceviche mixto. It was light and refreshing. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and she ordered Saltado de Camarones. Both were delicious, but I do wish they had a little bit more protein and gave more "green" sauce. The service was good. Just a little tip for you, there are plenty of parking in the back at a private lot or you can look for parking in front of the restaurant. Just a warning... If you don't have your front license plate, you will be ticketed... Everyone in front of the restaurant up and down the street, got a fix it ticket for the front license plate. Me included which kinda ruin the lunch for me!

This was a perfect lunch stop. Amazing quality food. I had been craving lomo saltado and this place beyond exceeded expectations. The beef was wonderfully tender and the veggies charred so nicely. Rice and Milanesa de pollo also perfect. And the Peruvian Pilsner was actually seriously tasty even off the bottle. Would 1000% reorder. Wonderful service and really nice ambiance. Thank you very much.

Great tasting Peruvian food . Good service, and beautiful ambiance . Chi cha brought back many great memories with its authentic flavors. This spontaneous stop did not disappoint.

Firstly, I wish this place had more business because the food quality that they had a the indoor vibes of this restaurant deserves more attention. I haven't had much Peruvian food before, and I'm so glad that I was able to try this restaurant. I ordered the beef saltado and it was cooked to perfection, I just wish for my own personal preference was more sauce to pair with the rice. The server was excellent and always checked in on us which was definitely nice. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant to try more items on their menu

Disclaimer this was my first time trying Peruvian food but wow wow wow! Difficult to imagine anything else topping their Lomo saltado. Also the bread their serve before the meal comes out. Phenomenal. A must try for anyone in the area looking for excellent Peruvian food

Yuca frita

We ordered takeout for dinner from Lola's during a quick overnight stay in Glendale. It appeared closed from the outside, and we almost went to another place. Fortunately, another group decided to open the door and when I realized they were open, we followed suit. The staff was welcoming and helpful. After briefly looking over the menu, we ordered the following: Yuca Frita a la Huancaina $18 Seafood saltado $29 Lomo saltado, beef $29 We took our meals to the hotel and immediately dug in. I was pleased to see that the portions were generous, especially since they're on the pricey side IMO. My seafood saltado came with a good amount of seafood and the sauce was flavorful. My son also devoured his lomo saltado with no complaints. I only had a few bites of the yuca frita, but it was also delicious. Lola's was a great pick for dinner!

Service was good. Ambiance was good. But food was mediocre. Mamita's still the best for me, in the Glendale area anyway.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The server/bartender was warm & welcoming so we decided to have a few margaritas and try a few dishes. We ordered the elote, lomo saltado & shrimp over garbanzo beans. Nothing pre-made, everything crafted fresh and customized to your liking, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It's tucked off Katella across from the TJ Maxx and Smart & Final center, with parking and entrance in the back. Once inside, you're welcomed by such a friendly team. The space has two dining rooms, a cozy bar at the entrance, and a cute little street-facing patio. We kicked things off with the Picchu and La Diabla cocktails. The Picchu was crisp, refreshing, and light. Super easy to sip. The Diabla had a subtle spicy kick that kept things interesting while still refreshing. For food, we started with the ceviche mixto without octopus, and wow. The citrusy lime flavors were bright and fresh, perfectly balanced with sweet plantain chips on the side. The portion was huge, easily enough for three to four people. Next was the mixed Lomo Saltado. It was packed with flavor, though the chicken leaned a bit dry for me. I would probably go all-in on the beef or shrimp next time. The shrimp were huge. Then came the ribeye tacos and I'm not exaggerating when I say I was in love. The beef was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, and every bite felt like a moment. We also ordered extra plantains because these flavors just call for it. Crispy, sweet, and so satisfying. My second drink, the Oye Mi Amore, was a standout for me. I love guava and this one delivered. Now let's talk about the experience because it really made the night. When another server came to box up our food, we didn't catch his name, but he turned a simple paper bag into a whole luxury experience and had us laughing nonstop. Our server then asked about dessert. Of course we said yes since it was date night. She surprised us with a complimentary churro. While we waited, she brought out tequila shots. Totally unexpected and so smooth. Then the churro arrived and it was unlike any I've had. Light, airy, and delicate instead of dense, with just the perfect sweetness. The whipped cream was soft and cloud-like and paired beautifully. As if that wasn't enough, she came back again with another round, this time in snifter glasses with a darker tequila that was rich and incredibly smooth. We never felt rushed. We were just genuinely taken care of the entire time. For the two of us, the total came out to $145, which felt more than fair for the quality and experience. We will 100% be back, and next time we are bringing family and friends. Huge thank you to the staff for making this such a fun and memorable night.

Not only is the place super cute and clean but I found the food to be incredibly tasty. I have not really been to many Peruvian restaurants, but if this is any way typical, then I'm certainly a fan . The question is not WILL I be back...but rather WHEN I will return. The answer is VERY SOON whether or not my car needs additional service. . One more thing to note. As I texted a few friends, talked with a few employees at Pacific BMW and casually texted and talked with friends while I ate...it struck me many people I know have been coming here regularly and ALL had similarly good things to say about this Peruvian gem in the muddle of Glendale.
