Our favorite Argentinian market for over 40 years! Best service and our go to for meat, pizzas, empanadas and more!

    Golden glistening empanadas...

This is one of a few Argentine places that can justify the kind of mileage I have to put in to get my fix. It's not just a butcher shop, it's a mini Argentinian embassy for my taste buds. Walk in for a quick fix and walk out with enough freshly made empanadas and high quality meat to feed a small village. The selection is fantast and the staff is very friendly. The real danger of this small little shop, is the dry goods section. I can't just "shop" there. I have to gaze at their wall of snacks like a culinary historian. Seeing all those Argentine brands and dry goods triggers a massive wave of nostalgia for all the goodies my family would bring back in overstuffed suitcases every time they visited Argentina. I inevitably find myself surrendering to some alfajores. The main reason I drove here was for the sandwiches de miga. The ham and cheese is our household "fix," and I'm pretty sure my family would trade me for a fresh stack of them if given the opportunity. I always make sure to grab a few empanadas to go too. I left happy, fully stocked, and already planning the next haul.

i randomly came across an IG reel of this girl who was looking for these tea sandwiches she once had on a date and the sandwiches looks sooooo good! i was excited to see that the tagged shop was near my house so i sent my husband to get some and they did not disappoint! we got the: miga mixto sandwiches beef milanesas sandwich beef empanadas chicken empanadas ham and cheese empanadas spinach empanadas yall, EVERYTHING WAS BUSSIN! that's that the kids say haha their bread is crispy and soft, has a nice chew. all the empanadas were filled generously with quality ingredients. we loved ALL. OF. IT. highly recommend. my husband said the ladies were nice and helpful. the shop was clean and had deli, bakery and grocery offerings. the storefront is unassuming but the inside is MAGICAL!

I tried a beef empanada and a ham and cheese tea sandwich. Both amazing. I'm sad that Rincon Argentino isn't closer to my house.

Most items are specialty items, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern or Eastern European. They carry imported chocolates, nuts a huge section of preserves. They have freshly roasted coffee that smells amazing we've never bought it as of yet. Their bread selection is quite nice with all local bakeries making dark Rye bread and other Middle Eastern style breads. The yogurt selection is varied and lovely, they even carry glass jars of Strauss Bulgarian style yogurt and a wide selection of labneh. Fresh feta in deli section also is great as well as unique Middle Eastern and Eastern European meats. We also purchase imported sparkling water, they have a nice refrigerated cooler near the registers, there are several brands we have come to like. From what I remember, there is no produce here, mostly dry, shelf stable and refrigerated goods.

Great local sub spot/market!…read more Stopped by here for some lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Was greeted right away when I entered by a nice man, he asked if we wanted a a sub and quickly walked over to help us out. I got the turkey sub with no jalapeños or onion and a bag of chips on the side. The price for everything was $14 which was honestly a steal, the sub was stuffed with meat and veggies, half was enough for me! They also slice the turkey fresh right in front of you so you know you're getting good ingredients!Taste wise it was delicious, I would probably go without the olives next time but even then it was sooo good. While my sub was being made I walked around and enjoyed all the Armenian goodies that they have! The store itself was nice and cool and everything was very clean and organized inside. Highly recommend, they deserve more customers for how clean it was and how yummy the food was, I'll definitely be back!

But the elderly can't do that so it's why the lines are so long. Now here is the kicker. At the end of the checking line is a manager ...sometimes 2. A man and a woman. They are observing the long lines...counting something...just observing. It would help if THEY just go to the end of a long line and start bagging! See, that would be cool! You see you guys have not scheduled any baggers and the lines are so long they are down the aisles .. and you are just standing there? Of course they may say, well that's not my job. But that's the mentality that keeps things moving slow. It would be so nice if people just did what it takes to keep things moving. Either hire enough people OR get in there and start bagging! I remember back in the days there was a bagger at the end of each checkout aisle. A bagger and a casher! Those days are gone ...and most stores now see if they can get away with overworking the checker! Next thing you know they install self check outs! Rather than hire people and keep a system of people working they just get rid of people and have 1 person observing (like these managers were doing). What a world we are moving towards. But anyways that's what you see. I wish they would just hire bag boys and go back to the good ol days.
