We hosted my mother's birthday here and the service was impeccable! The food was delicious and plentiful for our guests. The manager Armine was helpful from start to finish. The hall is renovated and has a wonderful black and gold theme. They also provided music (singer and DJ) with our birthday package. Valet was on site. We were able to bring in our own cake and decorations. Overall, very satisfied and will recommend for future events!

    Best Armenian food in Glendale!

This restaurant is so different then other restaurants because of the management. I would like to thank Armine for her hospitality and delicious food and service. We will be back again!

I've had a lot of Armenian food in my life, but this place honestly reminded me of the kind of cooking you only get at family gatherings.

If you've been to Aroma in North Hollywood on Tujunga, this place feels like its sister. Very similar vibes. You order inside, take a number, and they bring your food out to you. And inside there are pastries behind the counter, you can order coffee, and there's even cute packaged food items for purchase. Lots of people hanging out here on their computers or meeting up with friends. I got the salmon salad. It came with a small pretzel roll - it wasn't fresh/warm and a bit tough. The salad, I really enjoyed! The salmon was tasty and I loved the capers in the salad too. It is a bit pricey though, costing $22.

It came with egg, cheese, and bacon, but lacked the flavor or creativity I was expecting for the price. The breakfast potatoes were my biggest disappointment. They were served as small whole potatoes rather than cut or seasoned, and they were quite dry. I ended up leaving most of them on the plate. Including coffee, my meal came out to around $40, which felt expensive for the quality and portion I received. On a positive note, the server was very friendly and provided great service throughout my visit. The ambiance was also beautiful and very aesthetic, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. Parking was another challenge. I couldn't find street parking and ended up paying for valet, which added to the overall cost and frustration. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were excellent, the food didn't live up to the price point. I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you're going mainly for the ambiance.

From the crispy chicken sandwich to the tuna melt to the iconic breakfast burrito, the food is always filling, flavorful, and well put together without feeling too heavy. The hospitality is also a big part of what makes this place special. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and they make the cafe feel comfortable the moment you walk in. You can tell there is real care behind the restaurant, not just in the food, but in the way they treat people. A lot of the customers are regulars, and that says everything. It has the kind of neighborhood feel that is hard to fake. The cafe itself has such a nice atmosphere. It has that casual European-style cafe feel where you can sit with an espresso, relax, and people-watch without feeling rushed. It's a beautiful little spot for breakfast, coffee, or just taking a slower moment in the middle of the day. It's the great food, great service, and a charm that keeps people coming back.

Service was friendly and the wait was not super long. They were also very accommodating when my girlfriend requested they change her drink order. I had their breakfast burrito and an iced chai latte. The breakfast burrito really hit the spot with a pretty good proportion and balance of all the ingredients (egg, bacon, cheese, onions, potatoes). The sides of chipotle aioli and salsa really complement it well too. The chai latte could have used a more potent dose of chai. This place is best for smaller groups and parking may be challenging in this area of LA. Overall though, I would visit again.

Dark meat chicken kabob, best in LA!…read more I've been to over 50 kabob places around LA, lived near Glendale for a decade, tried all the famous sit down establisments to the not so famous hole in the wall joints but this to me is the best chicken kabob I've ever had in LA, or ever actually. First of all, the fact that you can choose dark meat is unique and appreciated. Secondly their rice is alway so well done, perfection. Third, their sides are incredible, creamy hummus, a bright and vibrant Shiraz salad and their garlic toum texture is almost like mashed potatoes puree, with right amount of garlic tang without being overpowering. The chicken kabob itself was so well marinated and tender it melts in your mouth and elevates this often overlooked protein into something so memorable. It's a perfect meal and their consistency is appreciated. I judge every Mediteranean restaurant that offers kabobs on their chicken kabob to see how well it is marinated, prepared and cooked, and Sidewalk Grills chicken kabob can't be beat imo, try it and I'm betting you will agree. Please go and support this establishment which stands out even amongst the vast sea of amazing Persian/Mediterranean restaurants we re so lucky to have here in the greater LA region!
