We love this gorgeous restaurant, bar and event venue. It has beautifully designed outdoor eating and gathering spaces, a bar you'd expect to see in trendier urban areas, and a huge event room. Last night we went to the Armory it was me, my brother, my sister in law and my Mom. First time here it's my mom's birthday and we wanted to try some where we haven't been. I remember someone mentioning this place so we all agreed. We were very pleased with the place of it had been warmer we would have sat out is the covered patio area. We sat in the dining room/bar area. The staff was very welcoming, the server Eric was very knowledgeable about the beer they had we all the bikini blond pale except my sister in law had a high hibiscus margarita and she said it was really good. We all had tacos my mom and I had the Baja fish tacos and Tony and Eshi had the short ribs tacos. All of us were very happy with our orders. The tortillas were really tasty and didn't fall apart and each taco had a nice size piece of fish. My brother and Eshi said the same their tacos were delicious. The tacos came with chips and salsa and the meal was served on a tin tray I thought it was very cool. We had dessert we had the brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce, and the berry lemon cake both desserts were delicious. The food just was not very good dry taco shells cold meat we had told our friends how good it was not this time they should bring back the French dip and the Reuben have better food. It was not a great experience for two of the three of us being there for the first time. The food was not great. Two of the three entrees that we ordered were not available and the food we did get was not good. How can you be out of two of the recommended items- our server recommended them- on a Friday afternoon going into the weekend? The chicken salad was flavorless and had too much mayonnaise. The nachos were also flavorless and the cheese wasn't fully melted. All entrees were served in paper trays- for an eat in restaurant. In addition, we were asked for a credit card up front and when we went to pay we were told that it was their policy that the first credit card was the one they would use. She argued with us for a bit and told us it was her policy and not the restaurants but other servers followed that policy. We asked several times to use a different card and was told she would not be able to do that. We did not get her name as she never introduced herself when taking our order. The drinks were the only saving grace. The water was terrible - not their fault - but we ordered sparkling water which they did not have. We got a bottle of plain water and no glasses so asked about glasses and she dumped the city water out of the glasses for us to reuse for the bottled water. read more

First visit, rooftop seats very nice, ordering No frills menu,expecting an expansion of the menu later on. Drinks-Makers Old Fashioned and a Chardonnay for the lady. We had the most amazing experience this past weekend. We stayed at the Lumberjack Hotel across the street and were pleasantly surprised at what a great experience was located just across the street. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, there was a jazz band playing and the outdoor patio with misters was a nice respite after a long drive. Every employee there was not only welcoming and attentive, but you could tell they really loved working there. The food and drinks were perfect, and the setting with the warm evening was perfect. Having a fuzzy time remembering everyone's name, but the owner, manager, and staff were so positive and took the time to really engage with us. I don't ever post reviews, but I give this 10 stars for the service and atmosphere. Make this a definite stop on your travels!!! read more

I was meeting my daughter and her BF there, and when I walked in I was confused. There is no one to greet you and tell you which way to go. I texted my daughter and found them upstairs. I had the steak and waffle fries and the steak was very good but the fries were soggy due to them being under the steak. Served in takeout containers. That's weird. Pretzel appetizer was delicious. Service was good. Wish they had ice in the water served. This is a cool place for Sonora and I hope they expand their menu in the future. read more

Amazing! Elise and the entire staff made our High School reunion more than what we could have imagined. The appetizers were absolutely incredible! The Kennedy Room is beautiful by itself, but it allowed us the perfect foundation to set things up perfectly. Everyone who attended was blown away by The Armory! The menu is very small, with not a huge selection of foods, but when you're experiencing excellence, you don't need pages and pages of food items. The giant pretzel was the best one I've ever had, and my son and I order them at every restaurant we visit! My husband loved his short rib tacos and chips and salsa. The menu is great, the nachos with either meat are our favorite and the cocktails are nicely curated as well. This review would have been a 4 or 5 if the service was remotely decent. The foor is good. The place has a gokd vibe. We were there today (July 4th 2025). We sat upstairs. There was maybe 50% of the tables in use at 1:00 pm. Our waitress didn take our order until 1:25. It took another 25 minutes to get our food. I don't blame out waitress, I think it is on the ownership. We have eaten there a half dozen times over the past 12 months, and it has been the same each time. We won't be back. read more
