It's $50 per adult and slightly less for children. You pay for one adult in advance to make the reservation, and the remainder the day of the event. You'll also need to sign waivers before you can participate. The facility is easily accessible just off the south side of Sheppard Avenue. There's adequate parking. You should make sure you check what room you're assigned to, because there are separate entrances around the building. You have to be buzzed in just before your slot. We arrived in time and were greeted by a staff who quickly confirmed our party and led us in. It was very efficient. We were asked to remove our shoes, and we were offered use of the foozball and billiard tables before we began. We were led through to our arean and the restrooms were pointed out to us before beginning. When we reached our assigned room, we had lockers (no locks) provided to us to store our belongings. Then we were ready to begin. Anna, our instructor, took over and explained the rules and equipment we'd be playing with. In addition to our bows and soft tip arrows, we were provided with helmets and arm guards. We were booked with another group of 7 or 8 players. You can reserve a private booking if you wish. The staff assisted with fitting our helmets properly, and demonstrated how to wear our arms guards and load and fire our bows. You can wear indoors only shoes if you bring them, but everyone just wore their socks. The sectioned room is the size of a small gym and the floors are similarly marked with zones. There are large, cushion "bunkers" and 2 sniper "towers" where players can take turns off the ground if they wish. We played a series of target games throughout our session. Anna clearly explained the rules for each set. It's moderately aerobic activity as you will be moving across the floor to target your opponents, and pick up arrows to keep using as you play. You also get sweaty from wearing the helmet. It was a great group activity. Kudos to Anna for keeping things organized and running smoothly. You don't need any prior experience, although it helps to know how to use your arm guard properly. Bruises inside my elbow notwithstanding, I'd love to come back for another round.

This newer location was bigger, more spacious, and had more obstacles and areas such as dodgeball & volleyball arena and arcade games (which you can play after finished with going through the obstacle course). I really liked the diversity of all of the courses. For some of them, you can choose the 'easy' or 'hard' version. Once you finish going through all of the obstacles in the course (which took ~30-45 minutes), you can play dodgeball, volleyball, arcade games, giant Jenga, giant 4-In-A-Row, try scaling up one of the vertical walls, or go through any of the obstacles again. Staff were all super friendly and energetic, from the ones who greeted us at the front and helped us check in, to the ones who explained the rules once inside. Useful tips: - Sign the waiver online to save time when checking in. - Bring a lock or you can purchase one at the front desk for $4. - There is ample parking space in the parking lot right outside the building, and TTC bus stop is 2-8 minutes walk (depending on which bus # you take). - There is a vending machine where you can purchase drinks. - It's better to wear long pants or leggings instead of shorts because in some obstacles, there are 'slides' component and parts where the surface can rub hard against the skin (and pants also do a better job at protecting the knee when crawling).

There are 3 courts for badminton, and the same space is used for other sports. There is also a running track upstairs where you can run 19 laps, which is equivalent to 1 mile. There's also a nice swimming pool, along with an area for ping pong. I heard there is a workout room somewhere, but I have still yet to explore the rest of the facility. Just today I discovered some music rooms downstairs!!!! This community center keeps surprising me with new discoveries lol. The quality of this place is not too new, but it's not falling apart either. It is nicely maintained. The best part.... free parking lol.

He seems to like to make kids cry, seems to have a chip on his shoulder and in general isn't that good at karate. That's one minus in 3 years of pluses, so whatever.

So I called and wanted to switch him to another day we were not previously scheduled. The owner would NOT accommodate him! She said: " no cancellation, no switch. If you want a different date, you need to pay $20 dollars for switch." She was also very, very rude. So I ended up losing $25. ( if you don't sign up for the whole team training which is $1000, you pay $25 per time. And you have to give the dates ahead of the time and pay the full amount at the beginning. If your child is sick, you lose $25 every time.) What is unfair is, these rules are not written on any forms nor on their website. Plus, there are times the Center had to cancel the class due to them hosting games. So the "no change" rule only applies to customers, not themselves! Another example is that I signed up my son for winter camp and paid money. Then they cancelled the camp because they could not get anybody else. These incidents show how inflexible and inconsiderate the owners of Machi Badminton Training Centrer are. They reflect really badly about this new center. So I suggest people please be very careful when joining this centre. Make sure you know the cancellation/refund policy before joining in.

Upon arrival, I found the facility very modern, clean and organized. They had several tables in the middle for dine-in. The axe throwing cages were large, each with 2 lanes and firm fence all around. It was easy go in and out of the lane and interact with friends. There also had several drinks and alcohol available at the bar/register counter. At the beginning a staff member briefed us the axe throwing process and assisted us with first few throws. Then we played about 6 rounds of games. The boards were in pretty bad condition, as they were being for a long time. Bullseye and other markings almost faded away. After that, we tried the daggers for few rounds. None of us could really stick the daggers in the board. The cost came about $36 CAD per person for about 45 minutes. Overall we had a good fun time. They staff were friendly and helpful.

BATL set up our area for our spread and provided us with plates and utensils. Upon arrival, we were provided with comprehensive instructions on how to throw by our amazing instructor, Angel. Her enthusiasm was next level and right from the start, she had the team engaged and excited. The couple of hours we had booked flew bye and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend booking them for any type of event.
