The walking track is free to use and available from 7am - 11am & 5pm - 8pm everyday. There are 3 courts for badminton, and the same space is used for other sports. There is also a running track upstairs where you can run 19 laps, which is equivalent to 1 mile. There's also a nice swimming pool, along with an area for ping pong. I heard there is a workout room somewhere, but I have still yet to explore the rest of the facility. Just today I discovered some music rooms downstairs!!!! This community center keeps surprising me with new discoveries lol. The quality of this place is not too new, but it's not falling apart either. It is nicely maintained. The best part.... free parking lol.

The organic nature this rink takes on, slight incline from the entrance to the natural obstacle course of bumps adds to the overall feel when enjoying the fresh air as you are doing laps and hit the unsuspecting speed bump to wake you up a bit. However, perhaps because it is newer, Cassie Campbell is a little nicer. What I like about it is the giant glass walls that allow you to see outside. It really makes the place seem bigger and non-claustorphobic. The layout of the gym consists of all the workout equipment in the centre, and a track circling around, with the corners available for stretching exercises. Basically every piece of equipment one could need is here, and then some. The membership fees are reasonable. I bought a month pass which is only $40 if you are a student, otherwise its closer to $50. For a one time pass it's $7 for a student and closer to $10 if you are not a student. There are also a lot of other activities and classes since it's a community centre; however, I can only comment on the gym part since that's all I really used. If you are looking for a place to workout, I recommend at least trying out this gym, you might end up loving it. Warning, depending on which side you come from on Chinguacousy you may have to pull a U-Turn to get inside the parking lot lol. . . but bonus though, if you buy a pass to any Brampton city gym, you gain access to all their gyms.

Joining a team means I'm guaranteed to do some sort of physical activity once a week. Even though we don't always win, we always have a great time on the field. We continue having a great time afterward, off the field as well. I don't mind that there are no refs because it allows us to work it out amongst ourselves. Being in a "Social" league means everyone is very fair (for the most part). It's playoff time and we just (miraculously) beat the first place team. Maybe my opinion is slightly skewed tonight...

Compare to any other leagues in the city and other cities around the world and you'll realize you're being gouged. I would be fine with the price if the product was of high quality. Instead you get terrible customer service and no referees. I realize the sports are co-ed and recreational, but no referees leads to a multitude of problems, especially when the games become more intense (i.e. playoffs). I played one season of indoor soccer in this league and it was a horrible experience. First of all, there are no nets, instead you use flipped elementary school benches like you're a 5-year-old. We had a disputed goal in the semi-final game (what a surprise!) and the TCSSC head office staff was extremely unhelpful when we tried to resolve the issue. We vowed never to play in TCSSC again. Please support another GTA sports league: XTSC. Their prices are cheaper, indoor/outdoor soccer includes real nets, all games are officiated by an XTSC referee, and the staff are extremely professional and accommodating. The problem is that they only have soccer, dodgeball, and volleyball at the moment. Please support them so that they can start to add more sports!

The fitness facility has gone under renovations previously so that's why I chose this community centre over the other dated locations. All of the equipment is pretty new and there's a variety of cardio machines, free weights, and resistance machines. I would assume that the facility would be more crowded during rush hours but luckily I usually go during the afternoons. They also have a group fitness room and several squash courts below. I definitely have to say that River Grove offers much more for a cheaper price than Anytime Fitness. Another plus is that they have several membership options if you can't commit to a year. The con so far is the uncleanliness of the change room. So far I'm liking this fitness centre for the price I am paying.

One for cardio, which is full of treadmills, elliptical, biking station, and stair master. TVs are station in front so you can keep yourself occupied if you didn't bring your own music. Two is the lifting area. There's squat racks and plenty of room for barbell exercises. There's a number of workout benches for dumbbell workout routines. Problem is that after dinner on a weekday, this place is full. High school and university swarm this place around 8:00pm to 10pm, so avoid it if you can otherwise you'll be waiting forever. Three is the class area. They have yoga and step class here. I've attended the step class twice before and it is intense. This location has a lot of other things to offer, such as a swimming pool and classes. You'll have to look it up ahead of time and register. I don't see myself going to another gym any time soon.
