Music was pumping and all was amazing. They have a lobby area with a small arcade (I stress the word small with only a claw machine, 2 arcade machines, one pinball and a single motorcycle machine. Each token is $1.00 and you need 1-2 tokens for each. For the bike, it seems like many people didn't know how to throttle (tip: roll your right hand away from you). There's a pool table area which has two single bathrooms. There are two decent sized party rooms to book for events. Overall it was a nice place. Back to the laser tag. Fifteen minute rounds were sufficient. It's enough to get your heart beating and you're moving around enough to work up a sweat. The equipment was nice and newer. The LED lights which changed colours when you get shot was bright. The laser beams were visible since there was a smoke machine. There were allegedly three bonuses to get rapid fire and other useful things but I only found one. We played 3 rounds in total. Spaced out so another group went in between each of our rounds. The check-in process was quick & efficient. We simply gave them our names and they verified that we were on the list and that we signed the waiver. The place is spacious!!! We went to the one at Oshawa Centre in the old Sears space. Lots of room to skate around without others getting in the way or not having enough space to get around other people. The music is amazing! Lots of 90s music which brought back a lot of fun memories. The interior was well-done! Lots of neon lights, disco balls and just tons of photo-ops. We also liked that you had the option to bring your own roller skates and/or rollerblades to this rink. The price for renting skates was pretty expensive. $20 for the first hour, an additional $8 for the second hour and additional $5 for protective gear. Which is another $33 ON TOP of the admission fee... so you're probably better off bringing your own or buying a new pair. The interior was nicely decorated with neon lights, disco balls, and 2 walks of vinyl records. Totally Instagram worthy! The rink is quite small (an old H&M store), which is great for beginners, but gets a bit boring after a few rounds. They also provide "walkers" for absolute beginners. They have a bunch of tables and chairs for people to sit on. They also have lockers but you'll need to bring your own lock. They also provide you with a small set of place to hang your coats if you're lucky. The staff member was kind enough to provide extra hangers for me when I asked. You have to buy aerosports socks, not from any other place like SkyZone. Go karts is extra but the line up is very long on the weekend. They provide you with the head net before putting on the helmet for hygiene purposes. You get 10 laps as well. There is a small children track too. I would come here again since I have a coupon I received from the birthday party and bring all the kids. It was quite fun despite the upper jungle gym being closed due to the zip line incident about a month ago. Only thing they need is to have more washroom stalls.
