This was our first return to Putting Edge since they moved into the Colossus plaza after the huge facility they had near IKEA/Dave and Buster's. We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience. read more

What looks like a pretty small and boring arcade from the onset, delivers an amazing and definitely affordable experience. Perfect for date nights or even a fun day out with the family, this mini golf place definitely delivers! Came here on a Saturday night right before dinner. We didn't have any reservations and were able to put our name down and waited for approximately 15 minute. There's about 18 rounds and you can keep track of your score via the putting edge app or you can track it with a pen and paper. This was my first time playing mini golf and I had a pretty good experience. The interior is aesthetic neon glow in the dark and each round had different themes. Since it was Saturday, it was busy but not too busy. We had to wait some time for others to complete their rounds and ended up skipping one or two rounds. It was fun overall! I hadn't been mini-putting in a long time and this was super fun! As an OCCASIONAL golfer it was nice to play without any stress. The course has 18 holes and they're all a blast. I won't spoil any of the decor but every hole was different and a pleasant surprise. The Good: There's plenty of entertainment value here for families, friends or as a date spot. Two people can play 18 holes for around $20. The course is well maintained and the glow-in-the-dark effects are quite good. Wear light or fun colored clothes for added effect. The holes vary from fairly easy to challenging but, are never frustrating. Anyone of any putting talent can find enjoyment here. Although the course is old, repeat visitors will find the same 18 holes challenging and fun, so it doesn't tend to get boring. There is an arcade of sorts here as well to play before or after the course. The games are fun and offer variety. I do believe the cost for these are extra. The staff was friendly when I visited. The course is located within walking distance of restaurants and other venues. Convenient. The Bad: Nothing bad to report. This is a good spot. Thank you for the fun times! The Ugly: If you're planning on an impromptu visit on a Saturday or some other highly social time of day, you might have a very long wait ahead of you. Don't go disappointed. Plan your visit and take advantage of their handy tee-time booking feature on their website. If you're going around 5:00pm - 7:00pm, for the love of all that's good in the world, plan a wide breadth of time to your commute. The traffic around the 400/7 area (Weston/Jane/Keele...etc) during that time is atrocious. This location has drastically improved since its recent renovation over the last year. It is a lot bigger and more spacious than its sister store in Richmond Hill. The mini putt course is laid out really well and the employees working are really great. They set you up really quickly and get you in and out really quickly. The course was a little bit short but my friend and I had a really good time. At this location they don't have a coat rack so you need to place your items into a locker. The lockers are a little small but it is manageable. I might recommend the establishment get bigger lockers for people with big coats and purses. The people here are disgusting! This place is always filled with couples who are constantly up your rear end. They are so rude and are rushing you the entire time that the experience is just not fun anymore. I have been here 3 times and the experience has been the exact same each time to the point where my boyfriend and I including 2 other couples left half way through the game. Super friendly staff, colourful decorations and tricky course holes. Registering and booking a tee time is incredibly easy, but beware that on the weekend it does get busy due to families, birthday parties and first dates. Coolest place ever. I am really glad I visited as it brought back a kind of nostalgia from my early childhood. It's a fun place to go to on a date or with kids. I decided to come here on a whim with my bf because he has never been before. We arrived on a Wednesday night at 8pm, one hour before closing so it was pretty much empty except for a family of 4. After paying, we were given glow in the dark bracelet and score card. In total there were 18 courses with varying difficulty levels and between the two of us, we finished all of them within an hour. Putting edge is glow in the dark mini golf with nice and eye catching visuals all throughout the place. But because the only light source is basically the glow in the dark props, be careful when walking through the course. There are some uphill and downhill slopes that you cannot see at all because the floor is black. I find putting edge a fun place to go to on a date or with family. The courses haven't changed since the last time I was here (4 years ago) so it's a place that I would go to every once in a while, like once a year. read more

Came here close to midnight last Saturday with a friend, and first thing we did was sneakily try to get a discount by pretending to be students but unfortunately they said ID was mandatory. So we paid adult fare and put our names down and was asked to wait about 20 minutes before we could get in. We sat outside and amused ourselves by watching hordes of girls in skimpy clothing clumsily made their way to luxy night club next door in -5 weather... There was a small arcade where we could throw basketballs or play ice hockey while we waited, but we didn't have cash to play. Once our name was called, we got our things and went inside. It was all dark except for the obstacles and walls. It was impossible to see the curvature of the carpet without walking over it and feeling it with your feet. If you're an avid golfer this may bother you... However areas around the hole were flat so it wasn't a big deal. It was very easy to figure out where everything starts and ends, and everyone seemed to be having fun. A group behind us however looked like they were having too much fun - in more than one instance they hit a ball so hard it went flying and hit someone on the back of the head. It wasn't cool. They complained and staff kicked the hooligans out. pros - customer service was great, mini golf course was very fun, glow in the dark was exciting, and the wait was short. cons - it was a bit crowded and the arcade was limited in selection and took tokens. Great experience, we went on a gray rainy day when there was nothing to do. It was really very immersive in that it was only lighted by the unusual terrain they created out of the three levels. Pretty fun indoor mini-golf place. Picture black lights with illuminating neon panted objects and you get the idea. They used every inch of the space available, and though it gets a bit tight in some spots like finding room off the course to stand when someone else is going, or even wait for the next hole, it works out pretty well for the most part. Putting Edge is a fun, glow-in-the-dark mini putt playground suitable for all ages. I've seen kids as young as 5-years-old to couples as old as 60+ on a date! The price is reasonable, and you get a discount on the second round if you want a rematch. You get a stamp card for getting a hole-in-one putt on Hole #18. It's a bummer that you have to get that one-putt in FIVE times (5 stamps) just for one free game. I got one stamp so far! The holes are challenging if it's your first time here, but I've been here so many times that I know where the shortcuts are...etc. It's always fun when you bring new people, otherwise, I wouldn't come here so often. Nobody really plays in the arcade outside, and some machines have been out of order for a long time. The prizes aren't appealing - ie. pens, stuffed animals, candy - I'd only come here to mini putt. NEON Backdrop, Obstacles and Golf Balls glow for your entertainment as you will SHINE as well if you wear WHITE. I guess if you can FIND neon clothes and accessories, then all the better. There are different GREEN FEES you can purchase as well as they cater to PARTY groups as well. I usually see a group of 4 at most and its not that common that you'll see more than 3 groups which means you have PLENTY of time to find your line.
