Our second time here and it's always a good time ! $5 all day on Sunday for unlimited games. Bar food is actually pretty good and cheap ! We had poutine and drinks and honestly can't complain. Last time we had Pattie's and fries. Just a cool hangout joint to spend a fun night !

If you like throw back games, here's where you should go. Limited seating area, with emulators for nes and gamecube... along with full arcade cabinets for many games. 4 player Daytona usa and Simpsons

I had some time to kill before seeing a show at the Danforth Music Hall, so when I saw 'Arcade Bar'...I was immediately sold! This location is small BUT packs in a lot of games and awesomeness! There are tons of pinball units, a few booths with games, a wall of arcade games, skee ball, etc. The nostalgia was strong as soon as I walked in. Since I had a concert ticket, it was only $2 at the door for unlimited gaming! Pretty great price for all that fun. I ordered chicken fingers and they came pretty quickly, the taste was decent (honestly - people are not coming for the cuisine!) and prices were great. I think beers are $5? Ms Pac man, Mortal Kombat, Tetris, Super Mario, Street Fighter...this place has all of the classics! I came across a couple sticky buttons, but overall I found everything to be in good working order. The music was 80's rock and it was the perfect soundtrack for this place!! I'll be back!

Poutine and pierogies in the background!

So much fun. Came here on Saturday night and it was $7 cash for cover per person (There is an ATM at the door). I think it's around $5 if you manage to tickets online? The games are in much better condition than the ones at Tilt. From Skeeball to Street Fighter, to a whole bunch of pinball machine and foosball, there's a game for everyone. In this new location, it seems like there is a bit less space to just stand around and hang out if you don't get a booth to sit in. Bartenders were super cool and friendly. Beer was good and the poutine and perogies were both pretty decent. Glad there is an arcade bar on this side of the city now. Definitely worth the visit if you're already in the east end!

I've been to Zed 80 a couple of times and have enjoyed myself every time. Cheap food, snacks, beverages and arcade games is everything someone could ask for when in need of a chill night out. Perfectly located a 5 min walk from Broadview Station Zed 80 has a $5 cover charge that covers your unlimited arcade game play. They have pinball machines, car racing machines, classic games like Tetris and pac man and sports games like basketball. They also have ski ball and a foosball table and three massive benches with TVs that have retro Super Nintendo consoles and multiple games. They also have a DJ blasting music as well. Their seating is located down the middle of the bar with two massive booths, one on each end, and then smaller booths in the middle. They also offer family play on Saturdays and Sunday's so that people can bring their kids which is really nice.

We were visiting from the states on vacation and highly enjoyed our time here together!! I love skee-ball, so that was one thing, but the video-arcade version of beer pong was not something I was expecting. The pinball games ranging from the old school cog version, to the 80s version where computers started to get involved, to the modern ones made just this year showcased a real range. What was incredibly exciting was being able to play a number of Mario Kart arcade game races, that I see for three or four dollars a race at other arcades. Couple that with the incredible food options (Deep fried mac and cheese wedges, deep fried mars bars, deep fried... everything!) and at prices that have you snacking and grazing through the whole thing. It's a great place for kids, too. The only thing is kids need to be out by 8pm. But, there's a lot to do before then.

The arcade games are mostly in good order. Though it was kind of awkward that the drinks we ordered were in glassware making it a bit challenging to walk around play games while holding a drink. Even soft drinks were in a short glass cup and volume was lower than expected. While they do have small counters around the arcade games to hold drinks, I think there should be more as there was a section that didn't have any counter and I was just holding people's drinks while they played. We also ordered the espresso martini, while it taste just fine, it didn't meet our expectations as there wasn't a thick foam or espresso beans. He did ask how it was and we mentioned the beans and the bartender did add it in afterwards. Some unique games that I liked that isn't even at D&B or other arcades I've been to is the dodgeball where you hit your own coloured targets, the rope race climbing and the pin setter game where you have to prop a glass bottle up with a string and ring (reminded me of those games at the Ex). We really enjoyed the basketball shoot out too.

None of the mechanisms work and the staff don't pay attention to manually start them either. So basically you'll solve a problem and wait around and wonder for 20 mins why nothings moving even if you got it right from the start. Then you have to ask for a clue (which they won't give, it'll just be a condescending phrase that tells you to do what you've already been doing.) then after fighting with them for five min they'll realize it's their fault and manually start it, wasting not just our time but our money. 30 dollars a person is just ridiculous for what this is. If you want more fun lock yourself in a dark closet for 30 min and try to get out, you'll probably feel more satisfied anyways. I will say that we did ignore all of the red flags 1. The bad reviews online 2. The two groups that came out super pissed off before us fighting for refunds cause nothing worked for them 3. How the place looked So kinda on us but... Did this for group bonding and I will say we did bond pretty well over how terrible this was and how much we got scammed, so maybe if you want team bonding then this works for you idk? Definitely tests your teams patience....

So many rooms to go through that it made the experience well worth it. My only criticism would be the staff. We didn't escape the room and only had one section left to get through. When the staff came in telling us we were out of time, the normal procedure would be to walk us through what we had left. Instead, the guy said he was unable to finish a walk through because the next group had arrived. It seemed that he was unwilling to walk us through the remaining aspects because if he did, then he'd have to reset all the puzzles... I've been to quite a few escape room locations and never has this happened before, even if the next group had arrived.. Overall the Osaka High room was pretty cool, but I only wish I knew how it ended.....

I love pinball. I love a place that has good eats and drinks. GRETA has everything. It's street parking, which worked nicely when I got here on a Saturday night. I found a free spot and parked. I paid through the Green P app. There is also an underground parking lot on Portland Street that I've used. GRETA has two floors. There are bars on both floors. Hot foods, from wings, to mac and cheese, can be ordered on the top floor. I have a bunch of favourite games here. Classic arcade and pinball machines are on the lower floor. The world's largest Pac-Man machine and Whac-a-mole are upstairs. I like pop. It's Pepsi products here. The Diet Pepsi tasted crisp and refreshing, just as it should be. The bar drinks looked amazing. GRETA started in Calgary. There are now locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto. The concept is that you use a rechargeable RFID card to buy credits. Games range between four to twelve credits each. You can also opt for a timed play. You can get an hour of unlimited play, for instance. There are gaming happy hours. For example, if you drop by on a Tuesday or Sunday, you can play an hour's worth of games for $7. There are also food specials. This bar and arcade also has a dance floor. It's on the top floor. It gives off throwback vibes from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I didn't order any food while I was here for an hour. At the Yelp event, GRETA was kind to provide spicy mac and cheese, and churro balls. Both were delicious. I do like the concept of playing a bunch of arcade and pinball games, and more, with the option of getting a drink or a bite to eat. I've been to Freeplay, which was great. I like GRETA more because the games are spaced out and you have more room to play. Staff were super friendly both times that I was here. It's a fun place. I'll be back for more fun! (78)
