    Rainy day golf

Weird spot. The dudes appear to enjoy the video display golf.. The bar is ok. Not a great location, gotta drive.

It was my friend Jane J's birthday on the weekend, and she refused to tell any of the guests what we were doing. When we pulled up to her place, our only instructions were to follow behind her, and try to keep up (she drives fast). We wound our way through the no-man's-land between Etobicoke and Mississauga until we ended up in the parking lot of a drab-looking building in an industrial park. The sign read eZone. "Oh," I said to myself, "we're going to an afternoon rave. Good thing I brought some crank." I was wrong. The eZone is a 30,000 "multi-dimensional sports and entertainment complex" that caters to kids and adults alike. They feature an arcade, billiards, a basketball court, cosmic bowling and Whirlyball. For those not up on their cart-sport hybrids, Whirlyball is a combination of bumper cars, lacrosse and jai alai. You drive bumper cars around a small rink chasing a whiffle ball with scoops -- which you then toss towards something like a basketball net. If this sounds like madness, it is, but it's a helluva lot of fun. More than an afternoon rave, even. Unfortunately, they are a bit disorganized here. Our host had arranged for laser tag following the Whirlyball, but apparently we had been double-booked with troupe of snot-nosed and surely undeserving kids. (I'm an adult, damnit. I finished UNIVERSITY.) Our guide grumbled something about "not being paid enough to deal with" this nonsense and set us up with some more Whirlyball instead, which we followed up with a rousing game of dodge-ball in the basketball court. I can't say I didn't have fun, so it was a net positive experience for me. I might have felt differently if I was footing the bill for this shindig however. IMHO management should have gone above and beyond to make this up to us. (Free drinks? Cosmic bowling? Handies?) All in all it was an enjoyable group event. Though the facilities can be so-so (some carts are fussy, and the balls and scoops are super fragile), you'll quickly lose yourself with all the fun you're having. Seems perfect for a corporate gathering or birthday party for the little kid inside you. Obligatory Title Pun: Get in thE ZONE. Menu Readability: Warning: their website features one of those heads that appears out of nowhere at talks at you. PLEASE REMOVE THIS. Need to mention: A point in Whirlyball is called a "whirlic." What this place teaches me about myself: There is a little kid inside of me. And there is a grumpy old man inside of him. (Matryoshka styles!)

The eZone would be a blast for a corporate event. We had a corporate event and the place had a lots to do for fun. Foodwise, I wasn't impressed as the pizzas were ok and dry. For activities, they have Whirly ball (bumper cars meet basket ball), laser tag, basket ball court and a mini arcade room with air hockey!!! Overall, Great fun, with very awesome decent service! Everyone was happy and had a great fun time!

Was initially hard to find this place as it's located on a back road behind Sherway Gardens. Very impressed with our server who was very friendly and helpful and efficient. The food was amazing especially the steak, one of the best I've ever had! Will definitely return :)

Since it's literally just 6 steps away from where we work it would have been a missed opportunity to pass this up. They open at 1pm on a Thursday so it was very nice of them to let us play before hours of operation. Very kid friendly. They have an indoor playground which got even me excited! One down side was that 3 of their arcade games were out of order. Wasn't that big of a deal as we were there to shoot the hell out of each other!! Team building exercise? A dark arena with uv light up above, so don't wear white! With 21 people in this room I'd say it was fairly big. At times I would find myself seeing no one at sight. But turn one corner and bang! People ducking, hiding behind obstacles and shooting you through holes in the wall! Since we played during our lunch break we had a 30 minute game. Everyone was drenched in sweat by the end. So bring water! 5 stars because it encourages physical activity + lasers + well organized! TL;DR -Indoor playground for kids -Great place to shoot your friends & family -Dont wear white! -Bring water!

I went here with my little brother, and take my word for it, though: it's worth going the extra distane for LQ. While Laser Quests lets kids (and adults) choose their own nicknames and life out their videogame fantasies in a huge two-story arena, ULT's arena is three times smaller, and their laser guns are so "child-friendly" that they won't even work unless the player holds it with both hands! Add to that the fact that, in the first game, both my brother and I were given defective vests, and that there's a $5 fee to use their indoor playground, and it becomes clear why I prefer LQ over this place any day.

This a great event space. Good for dates and good for corporate events since it's huge. There is…read moreample parking and it has lockers (with no additional fees) for personal use. I love their drink station that serves alcohol. You pre-authorize a card with a payment method and away you go. It's an on-tap wall of an assortment of mixed drinks, coolers and beer. As you fill your cup, you can see the price increment of what you're pouring. You hang onto the card till you settle your tab. The staff mentioned that there is alcohol max that - should you reach it, you can go back to them to approve additional purchases (a way of controlling inebriation level I suppose). Very reasonable pricing and just fun to use. I could learn to love this self-bartending system. There is a sign that states if you lose the card, there's a $10 fee. So note to self, don't lose it or you might be buying for someone else and slapped with a fee. The rooms, which are the main event are fun. Some are somewhat challenging and some were less. All sorts of different types including physical and mental. Best to go with friends or a group of 4. There is a points objective for each room so the competitive drive of individuals may lead to a repeat of some rooms over and over until a score of 100 is achieved. It was really fun overall. Definitely a place to suggest to others and to consider for corporate team building outings.

Location/Service This place is in Mississauga, near the…read moreairport area to the commercial buildings. The entire building belongs to them - so you can't really miss it - and they have plenty of parking. Interior is very big and spacious, like the use of different colours to make it very virbant - but also knowing which section of the themes you are going to. Staff were very nice - they helped explain the flow of what you do and how to earn your points. They actually also help answer questions where you might not understand how to play the rooms - which is really helpful cause some were confusing AF and the style of this place is to let you figure out how to break free. Gaming Setup So you can book by 2-hour or 3-hour or 90-minutes - all priced varied. I did 3 hours and after tax, it's around $46. 3 hour was plenty enough time for you to play - cause there's probably close to 30 games to try. Each game is setup differently where you have to incorporate a level of either mental, physical or skill power - meaning, one room is all about shooting balls into designated hoops; another room is being tactical to solve colour patterns; another room is being strategic to listen and pay attention to patterns. All rooms are co-op based - you can't really do it alone, so it's best to come with a group of 3-5 people. Overall, I did enjoy most of the games - some of them I wanted to re-try to score 100 points (max allowed) so I can increase my leaderboard score. I wouldn't say it's very physical, but do dress appropriately cause you will be moving around a lot. Again, if you don't get how to play it - either you can scan with your phone for a hint, or just ask the staff directly (it really helps!).
