eZone has a mix of activities in one place. The most unique is Whirlyball - lacrosse on bumber cars! You have two teams, 5 bumber cars each, trying to score on each other's target across a court, with a lacrosse-type scoop and ball. It's $275 + tax per hour. That's quite expensive, but it's more manageable if you have 10 people, which is the number of bumper cars they have. It's quite fun, but hard to control/master. Great team building event. Taking a look around, eZone also has a court for ball hockey or basketball, laser tag, golf simulators, pool, ping pong ... and a bar/restaurant attached as well. read more

Booked one game of laser tag for a group of 13 with an age range of 10-58 years as a family celebration at 1:00pm. The venue and timing were great, large and private for our group. Ample seating area, the venue everything was clean, no rush, and the washrooms were nice too. The staff were friendly and courteous to our situation as two people came in a bit after the time. They also gave us time and space after the game to celebrate our wins, trashtalk, look at the scoreboard, and take pictures. Overall had lots of fun and thoroughly grateful to have the staff's patience and courtesy at e-zone as our first group laser tag experience. read more

It was my friend Jane J's birthday on the weekend, and she refused to tell any of the guests what we were doing. When we pulled up to her place, our only instructions were to follow behind her, and try to keep up (she drives fast). We wound our way through the no-man's-land between Etobicoke and Mississauga until we ended up in the parking lot of a drab-looking building in an industrial park. The sign read eZone. "Oh," I said to myself, "we're going to an afternoon rave. Good thing I brought some crank." I was wrong. The eZone is a 30,000 "multi-dimensional sports and entertainment complex" that caters to kids and adults alike. They feature an arcade, billiards, a basketball court, cosmic bowling and Whirlyball. For those not up on their cart-sport hybrids, Whirlyball is a combination of bumper cars, lacrosse and jai alai. You drive bumper cars around a small rink chasing a whiffle ball with scoops -- which you then toss towards something like a basketball net. If this sounds like madness, it is, but it's a helluva lot of fun. More than an afternoon rave, even. Unfortunately, they are a bit disorganized here. Our host had arranged for laser tag following the Whirlyball, but apparently we had been double-booked with troupe of snot-nosed and surely undeserving kids. (I'm an adult, damnit. I finished UNIVERSITY.) Our guide grumbled something about "not being paid enough to deal with" this nonsense and set us up with some more Whirlyball instead, which we followed up with a rousing game of dodge-ball in the basketball court. I can't say I didn't have fun, so it was a net positive experience for me. I might have felt differently if I was footing the bill for this shindig however. IMHO management should have gone above and beyond to make this up to us. (Free drinks? Cosmic bowling? Handies?) All in all it was an enjoyable group event. Though the facilities can be so-so (some carts are fussy, and the balls and scoops are super fragile), you'll quickly lose yourself with all the fun you're having. Seems perfect for a corporate gathering or birthday party for the little kid inside you. Obligatory Title Pun: Get in thE ZONE. Menu Readability: Warning: their website features one of those heads that appears out of nowhere at talks at you. PLEASE REMOVE THIS. Need to mention: A point in Whirlyball is called a "whirlic." We don't have whirlyball in the US, but we really should. I don't know who invented the concept of playing lacrosse/polo with bumper cars, but that person is officially a genius. The company I work for hosted a "team building" event here as part of a sales meeting. Like most people, I cringe when I hear the words "team building" as I envision a whole lot of weirdness that involves trust falls and walking over hot coals or something. The eZone is not like that. Our group played whirlyball, mini bowling, laser tag and (oh lord) dodgeball. On the plus side, the games were really fun - the best part is seeing the uptight folks you work with getting wild on the whirlyball court, or discovering that the sales manager is a secret sniper while playing laser tag. The facility is quite nice, with a mix of chill out areas to relax in after you get slaughtered by the all-bro team at dodgeball (true story). On the minus side, the staff (except the bartender who was awesome) was pretty disinterested and the food was just so/so. If you're having a meeting in one of the private rooms, be aware that the acoustics in there are terrible, so be prepared for that. read more

The eZone would be a blast for a corporate event. We had a corporate event and the place had a lots to do for fun. Foodwise, I wasn't impressed as the pizzas were ok and dry. For activities, they have Whirly ball (bumper cars meet basket ball), laser tag, basket ball court and a mini arcade room with air hockey!!! Overall, Great fun, with very awesome decent service! Not just for kids! I planned a b-day here, and it was one of the funnest (yes, funnest) parties I've been to. I called to book Whirlyball and Lasertag. They had a better flat rate and availability than Rinx (which is the only other place other than Lazerquest). It's a flat rate, not a charge per person, so the more people you get to come, the cheaper it will be. For Whirlyball, it's a series of about 10 minute games, and comes in blocks of 30 mins. Each game can accomdate around 10 people max. We did a whole hour of it since we had about 15 people. It was good for everyone to get a turn, especially needing a few times to get the hang of it. With the game comes a ref, who sits above and helps resets the score, and guide you through the game. It was about $225 for the hour. Then right away we went to play Lasertag. They organize it all for you where you just go from one room to another, which is nice. Great hosts. Lasertag is the same when I was a kid. i love it! Except you're a bit smarter now and know how to strategize. We got one block of time for the Lasertag. I think 15 mins x 2 games. They also have different modes of games, a) where you play as individuals on teams for the highest score b)when you get shot you change to a different team (vest turns a different color) so people can't shoot you twice $150 for half hour. SO MUCH FUN. They were great hosts, and everything went super smoothly. I'd come here again if ever I want to do something like this! read more

**I guess it should be noted that this review is only of the bar/restaurant, and not of the corporate games section.** I'm just gonna go ahead and say it: The best hamburger I've ever had. I work right near the E-Zone, and I'd driven by it a thousand times, but this was my first time actually going in. Their ads outside show many different daily specials at great prices, and you can see they have a large patio. The day was gorgeous, so off I went. Unfortunately for me, I wound up there right in the middle of shift change, so there was a good 15-20 minute wait for a menu. Ah, who cares? I was on the patio, and the satellite rock station they had it on was belting out some really good tunes. When my server did come out, she was extremely apologetic and compensated me for my wait, which was unexpected but very nice. She was also very attentive and sweet. Almost every item on the menu sounds amazing, and I was torn on getting a burger or the pulled pork sandwich. At that point my server told me something incredible: One of their burgers has pulled pork on it. Sold! What a soul-shattering burgasm. I'm pretty sure I walked weird to my car. The pulled pork was perfection, the burger was cooked outstanding, and I even loved the shredded pickle on it. The side of fries were also seasoned very well, and were the best in recent memory. The prices were just fine too. The bar/restaurant area looks very nice too, though I stayed outside the whole time. The only thing that truly offended me was how quiet it was for 5pm on a Saturday. With this level of food and service, and so close to Sherway Gardens, this place rightfully should have been packed to the rafters. Hopefully I just caught them on an off-day. Had a work team event at E-Zone recently, Whirlyball was a lot of fun! :) Stopped by to check the place out a week or so before, and like the look of the menu. They have special nights too, $10 rib night on Fridays i believe! Lots of drinks on tap, and full bar in the tap & grill area. The play area is connected to the bar. Came here for whirleyball with a group and it was really fun. I had no idea what to expect and I truly had a blast. It's a great thing to do with varying ages and skill levels. I recommend at least one hour as it takes some time to get the hang of it. I am looking forward to coming back! read more

Corporate team building? Don't mind if I do!!!! This place is sweet for this, as we started with a catered lunch (sliders, chicken wings, sandwiches/wraps, all perfectly adequate) and then moved on to some rounds of whirly ball (basically lacrosse meets basketball meets bumper cars) and then a couple rounds of laser tag. So much fun, especially whirly ball. I've been wanting to create a team to join the competitive league this place seems to run, ever since. Thats how much fun it is. I have no idea how this place rates for its costs (although that is on their website if you care), but going here was one of my favourite corporate outings in years that wasn't all about drinking. I'm a fan. Location is a bit of a trek from downtown which is my one complaint, but I don't think many places have the real estate to make this efficient if it were downtown. read more

We have been loyal to ezone for years always going for the wings. Our server is always friendly and food good. However today we are royally pissed off. I would just like to clarify this is not the servers fault this is managements. We waited an hour and half for no food to arrive. When we asked our server she was very apologetic but answered that "I'm sorry we are swamped with two parties". We paid for our beers and left. This place has a large area for parties and events. If they have these events they should still be looking after the people in the dining room as well. We are disappointed with this place and will never return. If you see a full parking lot avoid this place you will experience slow service!!!!! read more

Since Kelsey's on the Queensway stopped doing half-priced chicken wings on Thursdays, finding another good wing place was top priority! We found e-zone and they do half-priced wings on Thursdays. Have a decent variety of flavours to choose from, the flavours on the menu don't really match what the wait staff would tell you. I tried their Third Degree Hot and they were hot, but not 'burn-your-lips-off' hot... but very nicely spiced... Will definitely return! read more

Went to this secluded bar in Etobicoke for a friends birthday to watch the UFC fight. It's not just a bar but they have all these games in the back which was impressive. We didn't have a chance to do all that since we came for the fight. Food was as good as it gets at a sports bar. It was tasty and filling. The service was good and personable. They not only helped with ideas to keep the kids entertained they also compensated us for the loss. They were very professional and the management, owner and employees were top notch! Half off wings Thursdays! First we told ourselves we'd never come here again because of food issues but we decided to give it a second go. The spicy Parmesan is delicious. Some of the best flavoured wings I've had. But... Aside from the food some of the waitresses are unprofessional. This one waitress was flirting when on duty with these two guys. I'm sure this is common in restaurants, but come on the girl was standing there for about 20 minutes just yacking away. THEN she shares her personal drunk stories, which you really shouldn't share unless you want a stranger to think less of you. Then! I don't know if it was coincidence that she was ending work but she heads out with these guys. This is a totally lack of professionalism. Honestly, hit on guys when you are not working and please, do not ruin my evening again. I'm 30 years old and I had a poor experience with The eZone. I purchased two of the groupons that allowed me 2 half hour games for 10 people. I thought it'd be an awesome activity for my birthday. I had 9 friends coming from out of town and I had planned a whole day of activities. I called 2 months in advance to book my 1 hour time slot and was told I could only book 48 hours in advance. Just to make sure, I called 1 month in advance and again was told reservations are only allowed 48 hours in advance. So last week, 49 hours prior to my desired time, I called and was told all of Saturday was booked. I asked how that was possible when reservations are only valid 48 hours in advance? I was told that regular clients can make reservations whenever they want and because I had a coupon, I could only get what was left over. I told him that I had planned this for months and had people coming and was told I could book Sunday 3-3:30. Suddenly I was allowed to book 73 hours in advance! Ridiculous. Anyway, I called up Groupon and they apologized and gave me my money back, but it didn't help much as the experience was a heartbreaker. I told my friends the story and safe to say no one was impressed. Poor customer service and because of that they have lost my business and my friends' and family's business. read more

I attended a young professional group event here, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside. I was sort of picturing it to look like Playdium (and to be honest, the branding sort of does),but they're definitely targetting an older demographic. The place can be rented for laser tag, whirly bar, bowling, Wii games, basketball and pool. It's also fully licensed and has a pretty big bar with a patio at the front. I never understood what whirly ball was, but I think it can best be described as a mix between lacrosse and bumper cars. There are about 5-7 people on each team, and they're trying to scoop up a little ball and throw it at a basketball-like net, and in weird little cars. When you rent it out, the staff keeps score for you and plays some fun party music while you play. The laser tag allows for many more people to play at once - I didn't go in, but it looked pretty typical. The location is kind of awkward - it's on North Queen, which is sort of near Cloverdale Mall and Kipling Station. We had a coach bus, but apparently you can take the TTC to Kipling and then connect to a bus with a stop right out front. I'd definitely recommend for a corporate event/party. I'm not sure how often it's rented or open to the public - but it was a fun spot. read more

I am 28 years old female and I decided to have a go at Ezone on my birthday. I love trying new things and I had never tried Whirleyball so we gave it a go. My 8 friends and I had a wonderful time, it was great doing something different though I had reservations at first thinking this was only for kids. The staff were wonderful. Because they were not very busy on the day we went, one of the staff (perhaps the owner) allowed us to try laser tag for 15 minutes. It was a great experience, I would definitely go back. read more

My niece's birthday was held on Saturday, April 25th at EZONE. Within minutes of arriving in the designated party room, the smell of sewage was overpowering. An open sewer drain was in the corner. The manager casually explained that that was just "overflow" and there there was little he could do. The smell quickly overwhelmed most of the building. They found us a new room an hour later, which was somewhat better. Great day for a little girl turning 7! read more
