Full disclosure I went here for an office event. I wasn't sure what to expect given that this bar…read moreis on the second and third floor of the building and only a doorway is there to acknowledge it's existence. If you decide to visit you will likely be on the second floor. I was able to sneak down and check it out but I didn't fully experience the main part of this establishment. However the decor inside is great and sets a nice vibe. Staff are friendly and there's a lot of selection and they do cater to vegans. Lots of great areas in this space for hanging out or even playing games. The third floor as I found out is for private events and is the top floor of the building. It's a fairly large space so if you are interested in having an event this place could fit the bill. Again some very interesting decor makes the space warm and welcoming. Special secret hint apparently you can also rent out the 3rd floor on Airbnb as well. We found a fully furnished bedroom and of course had to ask what was up with that. If you are looking for a great place to hang that maybe not everyone else has found out about yet this is a pretty good place although the popularity tells me it won't be that unknown for too long.

When it is they usually give the members the leftover alcohol from the party as a peace offering. With a locker I think membership is only $1200 a year. It's a very cool space. Hayden is a god w the lighting setup and helped us so much in getting the venue to replicate the vision we had in our heads. Alyssa was so kind and made all of our guests feel so welcome. Additionally, I'm not sure of his name but their security was also AMAZING and really helped us out in ensuring that all of our guests and team members felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole event. There were no lines at the bar as I've experienced at some weddings, coordination of vendors was all taken care of and they even were accommodating with our all our drink choices and made some custom cocktails for us. Others seemed to have no problem. Great layout with one room as the lobby with coat check, and roomy bathrooms off the the side, and the larger room adjoining for the entertainment. At the far end away from the stage, there's a smaller room as well, with a couch for lounging. Since there is no green room the bonus is that you get to talk to and meet the talent. Careful not to bother the neighbours if you go out front and hang out on the street.

Toronto Concert Orchestra created such a welcoming experience at Palais Royale. The waterfront location is gorgeous, and enjoying the harbour view before the show made the night feel like a mini getaway without leaving Toronto. We upgraded to the VIP experience, and I thought it was worth it. The waterfront lounge, food, and drinks were a great way to start the evening and made it feel like more than just attending a concert. The performance was incredible. I especially loved how they transformed familiar stories into opera, making it easy to follow and enjoyable even for someone who has never attended one before. This is such a great idea for a date night, anniversary, girls' night, or even a solo night to do something special for yourself. Don't forget to arrive early to enjoy the venue and views! I ordered the robs favourite pizza and they made it without bacon I greatly appreciated that. The chicken with the hot honey, oh my goodness out of this world. It took a while I think because they just opened and they make everything from scratch.
