Good ol' Chuck E. Cheese.. last time I was in one of these was about 20 years ago, good to see this franchise has been around for so long and now I have the opportunity to bring my child here to admire the old time nostalgia of a good time. Of course things have changed in the last 20 years and you can obviously notice the changes if you are from my generation. Chuck E. Cheese used to be the main source for child entertainment back then, now we there are many more other options. Anyways... I took my 17 month old son here today.. as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly teenaged boy who stamped us and let us in before advising us of where to go and what area would best suit my son. Was impressed already. We saw Chuckie as soon as we walked it which was a special surprise and dancing in front of all the children and the oncoming customers. My son was thrilled but more so confused as to what he was looking at lmao. After we walked in the front counter is there to grab your food and your tokens, noticed the line was quite long (12pm on a Friday) with ONLY one attanedant working. (Boy at front said they are cutting hours so only one person doing cash) which shouldn't be the case especially on a Friday during Christmas holidays?? They shouldn't be cutting hours like that. Couple people in line were quite irritated but what can you do right? So after seeing the line up we decided to grab a seat instead and get situated with our belongings. It's nice how the Chuck E. Cheese website offers you deals on food and tokens which totally helps (even if it's just a little) we got 100 tokens for $25 which I think is a great deal. So to all, while waiting in those long line ups take the opportunity to go to the website and grab the coupon before paying. We also got pizza buffet which was about $7.99 which is also I good deal with a drink. Pizza wasn't as bad I thought it would have been, of course everything is in kid sizes so as an adult I had more slices than I probably should have. :) One thing I thought this place still had was a ball pit, which it didn't and I found quite disappointing. My son is still young so he can only do 1/3 of the activities here but oh well he still had a great time. Photo booths are fun, slides and trains with actual smoke which my son found very cool as he loves his Cho choos. One ride even takes pictures as your on the ride, not in the best quality but eh for a ride that's only 2 tokens you can't really complain. All the games here usually only use up 1 to 2 tokens each so the 100 tokens we had was WAY more than enough and we even left we some for the next visit. All in all we had a good time, my son ran around like he owned the place and it tired him out just as I suspected. Thank you Chuck. E. Cheese for still being around and look forward to seeing you for the many years to come. One word of advice to the franchise owner slash manger in this location, hire more staff for front cash!! Very slow and very upset parents. Not something you want as soon as people walk in to your establishment.

Large spacious play gym with lots to do for kids ages 2-10! I took my kids ages 7&9 to Amazing Fun…read morePark on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprise that the place was even more Amazing in person (compared to their photos). The forest-like entry leading to the check in desk was super cute, check in process was quick (you'll need to sign a waiver for the kids) and after a wristband (to see which patrons' 2-hour play was up), you can remove your shoes, put them in the cubby hole and hang up your jackets (this was a plus since everyone has a bulky jacket during the winter months). There is a stage for kids to sing karaoke and record 360-degree dance videos. You can also check their schedules online as there are bands, princesses, face painting, magic show and the like. There are lots of picnic tables for parents to sit and for birthday parties. There are cute trees and 3D art scattered throughout so it feels like you're in a magical forest. My kids gravitated to the rides - you can ride a dinosaur or drive a 2-person LED-lit car. The vehicles move super slow so even toddlers. An manage them. You basically drive in a circle around this lit up floral/grass area. Right outside this space was the VR experience. Not only do you put on the VR glasses, but the entire 'car' moves (very gently). The first game I played was to shoot the red bugs - you look at the bug, then press the button on your seat to shoot them. I did ask if the VR experience can be ramped up if there are no kids aboard - and they do! We did a walk through of a creepy psychiatric hospital. There is also a huge ball pit area. There was a jungle gym within the ball pit and all along the walls were interactive play tubes. My kids also like the tabletop games, it's a huge touch screen running Android apps. There was also an interactive glowing tile floor. This was difficult to play cuz everyone was running in it at the same time and not really following the rules. Overall, my family had an amazing time. It would be nice if the interactive vehicles went a bit faster and maybe have a cafe of some sort to buy coffee.

What made this experience extra special was that the management team of the AFP were more than kind enough to alter the AFP schedule to accommodate The Pines Adult Day Centre. As soon as we entered the AFP, we were welcomed with the warm smiles of the wonderful staff. On our way to the check-in counter, we immediately got a whiff of the sweet, crisp and clean air and noticed the inviting vibrant colours of the decor. The staff were very attentive and ensured that everyone in our group had an awesome experience. The interactive games, the virtual reality rides, and the AFP stage provided great amusement to our group. We couldn't be happier with the ambience, the numerous activities and the professional customer service we received.

A small group of us went here for one hour trail riding. Truly enjoyed my time here as it's not…read moresomething we can do everyday. The GPS actually took us to the wrong ranch at first. It's NOT the first ranch on the left on Burnhamthorpe w/ the two GSDs! One more over or till u see the green roof barns. We were greeted by two friendly dogs who led us to the back (how cute is that? seriously?). We paid the fee ($40 cash or $42+HST) & signed a waiver (naturally) and they had a demo on riding. Helmet rental was free (mandatory for children & recommended for adults). However, due to the light rain that day, a few helmets were wet...on the inside. Or is that sweat? hmm.... The trail was definitely scenic and quite spacious. It was truly beautiful! It is probably so amazing here around the fall. They also offer lessons, boarding, hay/sleigh rides. Great for groups and parties. The horses were all quite gentle. Anyhow, we were warned they are like high school kids and have their own little clique. The more dominant horses wouldn't like if others were ahead of them in the trial ride line. So we had to watch out for that. How cute! Just like my dog lol What I liked about the one hour trail ride was... we got to jog at least 3 times (aftermath: a sore bum but it was fun!). I've been to another ranch where they only let you jog once & trails were mostly in a tight forest...but not so much for this one. Lots of fields. A bit of everything... and of course lots of horse sh*t. Massive... lol We were allowed to look at the horses in the stables as well. Some flies in there but that is expected. We had a bit of rain so they went away after a while. There were prob around 20 horses there. They seemed happy & healthy. Lots of different sizes. Love them all esp my horse :D I miss my Lucy! She was prob one of the bigger horses. Not sure why I was paired w/ her as I was nearly doing the splits while climing down (thank god for yoga!). But I LOVE Lucy & happy they put me with her anyway. Can't wait to come back again!

The horses essentially follow each other. You get to hold the reins and play cowboy for about 35 mins. Overall it's a ride on a horse along a path, not much else. If you are scared of horses or just want the experience i'd say try it out but tbh there is sooooo much more you can do with $80 with an hour imo.
