I had delivery on Friday afternoon for a community event on Saturday & Sunday. I was not there during delivery but when I arrived on Saturday I noticed there was a crack in the nozzle. I assumed this wouldn't be a problem and blew up a handful of balloons; trying to make sure that I covered this crack in case of issues. Due to weather we only had about 20 - 25 balloons handed out the first day, so we were looking forward to a larger crowd on Sunday (the weather was going to be MUCH better!). Well on Sunday, I go to blow up the first balloon and there's a very loud POP & CRACK and the tank no longer will work. I immediately tried calling their office, but apparently unless it's regular business hours you don't get to speak to anyone. And the tank had to sit there almost completely full while we couldn't use it. I tried calling & sent an email right away after our event and didn't hear back from anyone and tried calling one more time. This time I spoke to a Customer Service Rep (I think) who told me that the person I had to speak with just left on vacation and wouldn't be able to help me for a "really long time"(her words) and that she didn't think I'd have a problem getting a rebate for the unused helium. I wasn't too happy with the wait but thought I would definitely hear from the contact when she got back. Well I didn't and decided a couple of days ago to email and received a reply phone call where without saying it outright, I was "accused" of causing the damage and that they have strict policies regarding the delivery people "checking" the nozzles for cracks prior to leaving it (because all corporate policies work well always ;)) and after a bit more pushing on my part was told that she was going to speak with her boss and see what sort of rebate I could be given. I left this phone call hopeful that I'd hear positive news soon and after almost 7 weeks of waiting, I was ready. I reminded them I understood that the delivery happened and some helium was used but that I hoped that I could have rebate off my next rental as it would happen again. Well I just got a n email reply with an offer of a $15 rebate.... yes $15 as a rebate for a tank that was over $130 and was still over 90% full when picked up and was clearly cracked when delivered. I hate that my first Yelp review has to be a bad one, but I don't like it when companies treat customers like we're the problem. Staff have always been helpful, and they are great at upselling items. I keep the balloon weights and reuse them for different occasions - no need to buy them each and every time. Rows and rows from ceiling to floor of costumes, party decorations, party favors. They have a whole section full of candy 10/$1. Gummies upon gummies, I'm totally coming back for that HUGE gummie snake!!
