So many of the companies out there had almost nothing on their website and expected me to put down a deposit without having seen any samples. Enter Around the Table. I sent in an inquiry and Sylvie got back to me very quickly and provided me with options, pricing and sizing of different tablecloths. Our venue has a strange sized table, a square manhattan, which is 5.5"x5.5" and I wasn't sure that every rental company would be able to accommodate this size. Thankfully, Sylvie assured me that they had worked with the Rosewater a lot and gave me the sizing of the tablecloths they typically used for their events there. I wasn't totally sure about the colors, they had about three different colors of blue satin tablecloths - no problem, Sylvie was happy to send out samples for me to view and she even included a few other blue tablecloth sample options that I hadn't considered. It was REALLY useful to be able to see the tablecloth colors in natural light and with the other decor items we had picked. In the end, I ended up changing the original color I had selected and I wasn't disappointed! The satin tablecloths they provided were absolutely GORGEOUS, gave the whole venue an even more luxurious feel and really transformed the space and made it our own. There were no surprises in terms of extra fees or anything and the price point was really economical for my budget. I'll definitely use Around the Table again in the future, Sylvie was just lovely to work with and the quality of materials exceeded my expectations.

I never realized how few independent balloon stores there really are in Toronto until I went…read morelooking for one. My old go-to store (Little Party Shop) is just too far out of my way now and has an atrocious parking situation. I also recently had a bad experience with a big box party store (Party City). I looked through the Yellow Pages and online but my neighbourhood has a distinct lack of balloon stores (i.e. St Clair West near Keele). I had a simple order (12 helium balloons in a variety of colours) that I wanted to pick up on a certain day & time and Balloonagram came through for me. I called them and placed the order over the phone (they seem to have some online ordering for delivery but it seemed kind of weird to me/run by a third party and it's in US funds?). A good old-fashioned phone call order did the trick for me. It's funny how dependent I've become on on-line ordering for basic things! Overall, I would recommend Balloonagram to you. They had my order correctly/perfectly made and ready for pick up when I arrived. Just don't be swayed by their non-glamorous storefront - it's functional and kind of like don't judge a book by its cover.

He replied by email that I could call him with the credit card information or fill in the online form. The later would not work as we were camping so I phoned and left two or three voice messages giving him the Visa info. I did not want to do it all in one phone call as I felt uncomfortable with that. I also went to a place with Internet and wrote and told him that I had left a voice message with all the info and to please email me and let me know that he had received the necessary information needed for the deposit. On coming home I repeatedly phoned and emailed to see if we did have the tent. I left messages saying that I was really getting concerned as this was a post wedding brunch for my daughter and that I needed to know. I never was given the courtesy of a response which I find to be very unprofessional. If he had just let me know where we stood then I would not have written this review. I am wondering if the company is still in existence or if something has happened to Ryan. They have two phone numbers. I tried them both but the voice message on both number numbers was Ryan.
