My son had his birthday party here and overall we had a good experience. We had the morning party slot so it wasn't too crowded. There was a dedicated staff member to help us with the party (set up, distributing pizza, cutting and passing out cake etc) which was nice. It is pricier than many other indoor playgrounds, and we are limited to 2 hours (many places usually offer 2.5 hour) but I think 2 hours is enough time for smaller toddlers. The thing I will note is that they told me they lost their cake cutting knives so I had to bring my own. I feel like they probably should go buy some new ones. Nevertheless, everyone had a great time, and I did feel like I didn't have to worry about too many things for the party. I thought their balloon packages were also fairly reasonably priced (as compared to what other balloon vendors charge). All in all, would recommend for birthday parties!

A young girl with dark hair and bangs is smiling and posing with peace signs in front of a ball pit filled with blue and white plastic balls. She is wearing a yellow Lakers basketball jersey with the number 24 and matching shorts. The background includes a green wall with a circular window and a white pipe, indicating an indoor play area or entertainment center.

Such a fun spot for little ones! Large indoor play structure with multiple slides. A play grocery store, hospital, auto shop and more.

It was our first time visiting and it certainly didn't disappoint. My kids had a blast! The playground is pretty big with various activities to do. They even have an area of claw machines and an arcade - you can win tickets and redeem for prizes. One thing to mention is finding parking was a bit challenging. They offer party packages but the pricing quite steep in my opinion so I don't think I would consider it. To be honest even the admission is pretty expensive $30 per kid. The playground is nice and clean but I don't think we will be back if that's the price for admission.

My niece is 11 months and they charged $8 (weekend) for the entire day w/ in and out privilege and one adult was free m. Additional adults were $6 (weekend pricing) which isn't so bad compared to other children playground. All children are required to wear grippy socks and adult need to wear regular socks and can also purchase from there for $3. The area is huge! There's a seating area outside in the lobby for those who don't want to go inside and can watch from the outside. There are cubicles to store your shoes. Then inside there's an area for arcade & claw machines for the older children. Bouncy castle, huge playground, and enclosed area for younger kids. There are also plenty of spaces for adults to hang around and a section to buy snacks but seems like it was closed when I was there. I also appreciate them offering slipper for the bathroom cause it was quite wet in the floor. TBH, I wasn't sure what they would have for babies but surprisingly my cousin's 11 month old had a blast! She loved the slides, the wall with the sticks (not sure what they're called), and crawling around in the playground. I feel like they depend more on parent supervision as there was only 2 people working/supervising the area. Overall, fun place for kids!

(Especially on days of a swim meet or tournament). Pro tip: do NOT park your car at the neighbouring seemingly empty lot- it belongs to ford, and they are NOT friendly neighbours. Your car will get towed without a warning. This community centre is spacious and clean. Everything is easy to find. The gym is gigantic and stretches far beyond my eyes. The pool is 50m, worked by beautiful and hardworking lifeguards (lol just kidding, shameless plug). Both areas have plenty of seating for viewers. The hallways are large and extensive, so don't be afraid to wander around. There's also a fitness centre overlooking the pool. It's kind of small and lame but I rarely see it packed, so I guess it'd be a good idea. It's not great for lifting, but it has a lot of equipment for such a small gym. The regulars are usually older adults, trying to get some exercise in.

The parking and accessibility of it was terrible though, since the walk from the parking lot to the building is far and I can definitely imagine that being inconvenient for some people or even just during the winter season with all the snow and slush. At the entrance you are greeted with staff to sign a waiver on the iPad. Then you have to "check-in" where you purchase your tokens and playground pass if you like. For kids they give them a bracelet and put a parent's phone number in case which is a huge plus! For tokens you can purchase them more inside instead of at the check-in counter. The claw machine tokens are separate though so you'll have to purchase them inside. Once you receive your boarding pass, you give them to the staff there who says "Enjoy your vacation" and go through a mini security. I didn't get many pics because we were honestly too excited and just in awe. After security you go up the escalators and you've entered vacation! It's honestly incredible inside from arcades, to restaurants, darts, VR, golf, baseball, and so many more! They even have a mini store there with snacks, drinks, etc! Just a lot of things. Walking in there is a beautiful large selection of Koi fish. Walking around I can ask him any question I want even if it's silly and he would just laugh and joke around along with me. He showed me a fish in particular that he thought was interesting but was already on hold for another customer it was a black colored really big and puffy one. I was saying the fish looked like a mafia boss and he would just laugh. I had a lot of fun with my friends and him just talking and walking around to the point we lost track of time and ended up being in there for 45 minutes. He didn't mind that we came in to just browse and have a look around as i was unsure if my father's tank needed any more fish. The fish there are big! (There are little ones too). There's also fish i don't see in regular pet stores (there was this super buggy eye'd looking gold fish, the eyes literally popping out of his head like big round googly eyes). I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

The owner there never overstock the fish tanks and the filtration makes the water crystal clear. I have purchased numerous goldfish from him (such as Ranchu, Butterfly, and Oranda) although he specializes in Koi. The only downside to this place would be the pricing, but it is compensated with a much higher quality compared to elsewhere. So if you're looking for quality fish, this place has it all. This place gets a variety of shipments every several months, so even if you do not see anything you like currently, come back next month. The owner there is very enthusiastic about fish. One time I literally spent an hour having a conversation with him just about Ranchu.....Definitely will be coming back to purchase some more water piggies.

I recently had a Yelp in-person experience at Minido. I got a ticket for free child admission. Since I don't have a child, I gave it to a friend who has a daughter. This review is a combination of my research to get them to enjoy their day here, and their experiences. The Yelp event was held at Minido Kids Cafe. The entrance is to the right of Bun Appetit, which is around the corner from Kinton Ramen. I found parking and backed into a spot. I went in and took the elevator up to the second floor. As an adult, I liked the space at Minido. It was exceptionally clean and spacious. You do need to remove your footwear before you go crazy exploring the area. There's space for you to find a cubby to store your footwear, and sit down to take them off or put them on before you leave. I used the washroom, which was to the left of the ball pit. It was extremely clean and bright. Minido requires that you make a reservation. Online is probably easier. It's what my friend did and didn't experience any issues. This place is only open Monday and Friday, and weekends and holidays. It's open from 10 am till 8 pm. Each child can get two hours of play for $25. Each additional hour requires coughing up $10. If you think that you child won't want to leave for hours, you can get an all-day admission for $39. On weekends and holidays, the admission fee is $35 for three hours. Adult admission is $25 per person. However, if you make a minimum purchase of $25 in food and drinks per adult, the admission fee gets waived off. Pretty good! The adult admission fee includes a complimentary speciality drink from the menu. My friend ordered food here, so she didn't get a complimentary special drink. It's only included with an adult admission. When my friend arrived with her daughter, a hostess unlocked the door and greeted them. They entered the cafe and the door was locked. It's good in case kids are roaming around and leave without truly knowing that they did. This cafe promotes play, motor skill development, communication, and more. My friend's daughter had a fun time playing. The place has Minido Market, a play area in which you can sell grocery items, store fake foods in the fridge, run the dishwasher, and more. She loved it. There's a ball pit that is a fun course. She went through tube tunnels, went down a twisty slide, and ended up in the ball pit. She made a friend during her time here, which my friend was thrilled about! They had a mom-daughter lunch afterwards. She ordered food at the Minido Cafe, which has a menu for both adults and children. My friend got the spicy pancetta udon. She enjoyed it. She said that the spice factor wasn't extreme. Her dish had bacon bits and pancetta that provided protein. She really loved how chewy the udon was. Nice! She also got an iced latte. She thoroughly enjoyed it and the caffeine kick that she needed! Her daughter settled for mac and cheese. She's got my tastebuds. The mac and cheese came with veggies and fruit. She ate it all up. Impressive! I don't know what she drank. I forgot to ask. They came here at 10 am and her daughter played for a couple of hours. They ate just after noon. She said that it wasn't all that busy on a Friday. I'm guessing that most folks come here after school, so I'd imaging the rush happens after 3 pm on weekdays. My friend said that it was a nice change of pace and enjoyed taking a breather as her kid played. She was thankful for free admission for her daughter. She loved the leisurely lunch that they had. I love the concept of STEM and Wooden build stations here, with enough room for a jungle gym on the other side. So much potential of creativity like a science centre; but it gets a bit crazy with how some kids chose to play. This is the closest idea to Rochester's Strong Museum in GTA. There's a small toddler area for under 3. The play area is separated by a baby gate with a pull lock at the front desk so kids are all contained. The check in area can get very crowded and loud, especially as they're trying to explain rules, waivers, payment. The tables for snacking/adults have comfy chairs but are also taken up quickly. Lots of snacks and bottled drinks for sale at decent prices. Coffee and espresso beverages come from a machine that currently offers only milk, and only one shot of milk for your coffee . So if you need cream for your coffee check first as was not ready at my visit. So a small flat white was $5.75, but they offer free flavour syrup shots. Sensory sensitivity: Loudness was pretty high. Between music at the stem station, clashing and dropping of toys, the huge light bright tubes, it was hard to have conversations. If your child cannot tolerate it bring headphones. Tips: -Read the long rules first! -Bring your own grip socks(mandatory here for $3/x) -Adults must be in socks no shoes allowed past foyer, bring your own slippers -No charging areas for your electronics(yet..) Really fun place, kids had a blast with their friends. Staff kept the place tidy and vacuumed crumbs often. Will visit again.
