Overall good vibe, We signed up for guest list the morning of, so our cover was only $5 since we went before 11:30 PM (P.S you don't get a confirmation for the guest list, just sign up before the 9:30 PM deadline and you're pretty much on) The security at the front do a super thorough body check so at least your know the place is kept safe. Music was good, bathrooms were clean, but god damn, the reason for my 2/5 rating is because of the DJ. Let's just call him...10 second switch! Because that's right, 10 seconds after they start planning a song and you realize what the song is...BAM! Change of song! And while you might think that fast switches make for a solid variety of music, it ends up just giving you a headache. You can never really dance or sing to any of the songs because they kept switching so fast. I came here twice. The first time was okay since it was NYE so the music was better but the second time was terrible. My sister, her friend and I all agreed that it was the right choice to leave the club after 30 minutes. The club was upscale with the 2 weird gold statues and palm trees. The lightings and sound system were okay. NYE: The crowd was young and wild (it's nice to put it that way). Honestly, it was filled with people who just finally reached their legal age of drinking and alcoholics. It also had few butt-grabbing lovers and pervs. A guy held me up despite the fact that I tried hard to push him away and my sister's friends had to ruthlessly asking him to put me down. I was pissed because the bouncers didn't do anything about it. TWICE! THAT GUY CAME BACK TWICE AND THE BOUNCERS IGNORE IT!!!! The club was filled with drunk people as well. They were drunk, they didn't know what they were doing and again the bouncers just ignored them. They fell on the floor multiple times, stepped on my shoes, stole my NY hat and my glow sticks. The floor was wet and sticky. Broken glasses everywhere because someone decided to just throw their shot glasses there. The DJ was good tho! Second time I came back here: No, the music was just....slow and boring. I think it was for grinding lovers. Grinders were everywhere: at the booths, close to the pole, next to the statues.. everywhere! I ordered Jägerbomb and the bartender gave me Jack bomb which was really nasty (not a fan of Jack Daniel's) A convenient place if you decide to have some fun after a movie or Dave & Buster's but for sure you will have better experience with club scene downtown. Free parking tho:) But I'd rather go downtown, pay for a parking spot, and pay same price (or even cheaper) for cover, music, and drinks. read more

I've been going to Luxy's for a while now and it's one of my favourite clubs. The only time it sucked was on Canada Day because no one was there. If you're tired of always heading downtown, head up to Vaughan and check out Luxy's instead. I know the promoter at this club so I always get in free regardless of what time I show up and my boys always get reduced cover ($10)...regular cover is $20. The line moves fast so there's never a long line up and you won't have to wait out in the cold for long. The music they play here is typical stuff you hear at every other club but the crowd is always live and it's always busy. Luxy's is the nicest club that I've been to and the washrooms are always super clean. Also, parking is free so you don't have to pay ridiculous amounts of money like Toronto. read more

this Club is large inside, 3 rooms and styles of music. Nice outdoor Patio as well. Ages were mixed and everyone.e got along . Dance floor was Crammed, a little too touchy and sweaty. Different weekends have different cover charges, sometimes free before 11PM. Girls very barely dressed. So either extremely sexy or painful to look at . Honestly this place has the biggest reputation for being a cheap ratchet club and it's very true. I think people like it here because booths are cheap in comparison to Downtown Toronto clubs. Even though I enjoyed the music, it was too much of an aggressive crowd for me. Appearance wise, it was surprisingly modern looking and pretty clean for a club. Celebrated my 20th birthday at Luxy this past Saturday. Some problems were that we were supposed to be on the guest list, but none of the bouncers found our names. So we waited for my friend (who knew the bouncers), but they forced her to pay the $20 cover as well, which meant all of us had to pay. My friend later told me there was some mass confusion, and she was very sorry. I forgave her. The club itself was huge, with a latin room and the main room. We stuck with the main room, where we ordered 2 bottles. One of my friends downed one by himself, and got completely wasted by 1:00am...to the point he got kicked out of the club LOL! I have a feeling the drinks were watered down...I still can't understand how I downed 12 shots of vodka and was still relatively sober (though wobbling). My friend who stole one of the bottles downed 23 though before he got kicked out. Yup. The music was great; all of us danced the night away like it was our last! I'll definitely go back, though we should've planned better. The bouncers could've shown slightly better attitude; they were quite rude to many people when we were lining up. read more

Went to Luxy's for a friends 20th birthday. Enjoyed it. The security took 5-10 minutes finding our host's name on the guest list. We got there a little late, and the girls my friend and I were with did not get in free. The club has free parking which is a huge plus, although the place was way too crowded to even move in. I recall when Luxy first opened. The Interchange plaza was booming with activity, heck even AMC had line ups on the opening nights of big hollywood blockbusters. Since then Luxy, Ivy, Berlin, and Dub Lynn Gate Irish Pub have taken over as the main drivers of this plaza for nightlife. In terms of clubs, while Ivy has definitely always been more my speed, Luxy offers that classic "nightclub" experience that appeals to the 19-23/24 year old crowd. You know the ones that get black out drunk, pass out in bathroom stalls, pick fights and throw drinks.... the Jersey shore? ha ha, Yep! However, not that there is anything wrong with this... we were all there at one point, but we all (as the current crowd will) realize that places like Luxy have an expiration date. From my times at Luxy the interior decor is fantastic, the lights, the sound system, the differing theme rooms and the exquisite outdoor patio. Down sides include the crowd, the door staff, prices and the wait times (which can rival those in the city). A younger version of myself would have awarded this place 4 solid fist pumps but as I'm older now I'd say it falls at about 2.5 fatigued fist pumps with a red bull chase to get me through the night. read more

Luxy's: A Vaughanderful Experience Yes, this is a nightclub in the City of Vaughan, and overall I had a really fun time here. I mean tbh, it's almost always a fun time when you are out and drinking with your friends but this was a nice setting. I came here on a Saturday for my gf's birthday and we went all out: got bottle service and a booth. It was a little pricey as expected ($220 for bottle of Grey Goose and $130 for bottle of Bacardi) but we didn't mind dishing out some cash since it was a special occasion. The neat thing about this place is that if you get a booth they give you a free thing of Shisha. So that was actually a lot of fun, and there's no tobacco in it so everyone can participate in the festivities. The nightclub itself is basically a large room with not much of a stage but the DJ was awesome. The booths are nice too (white leather couches); however, it would have been nice if they were larger because a few people from our group had to stand while others were sitting. The staff was friendly and attentive, constantly refilling our "chase" (non-alcoholic juice). I mean tbh most of the night was a blur lol, but we had a really fun time and I recommend this place if you are in the area. Oh the only thing is that we were promised a bottle of champagne for the birthday girl which we never received. So make sure you ask for it if you are ever in the same situation! read more

Visited recently after a long while. Kinda felt ripped off this time around. Not sure if they changed management or something.. But this place appears to have gone a little downhill. Kinda depressing as I used to frequent this club almost every weekend a few years back in 2013. More than half the sinks in the ladies washroom don't work and the bartender tried to serve me with a dirty shot glass. Smoking patio is closed off, so you must resort to buying an e-cigarette. But that doesn't stop people from lighting up on the club anyway.. How I had been able to tell in such a dark setting? The light reflected off the remnants of what appeared to be a lime or lemon that had been sitting there before. Legit I asked for another glass and refused to take the shot and the bartender had no problem in doing so. Will I pay $20 to go to a club that is poorly maintained? I really enjoyed my night at Luxy. The music was great and I liked the interior design. The club is pretty large and it wasn't overcrowded. The washrooms were also very clean. The only downside was the cover charge and the flashing lights. The flashing lights were ridiculously annoying - I'm surprised they haven't induced a seizure yet. read more

Wow, not bad at alll! but why are you so farrrrr...sigh. I went here with a friend on just a regular saturday night, it was sooo verrry windy which made it seem that much colder than +1C. The line was ok, the price..I don't know. It was a Friday night. We arrived around 12 so cover was 20$. But i will say the drinks inside were well priced at about 6 CAD for most that i got. Note, they only took cash but they have an atm near the entrance. Music was mostly dancehall which was a plus. Vibes were nice and not a rowdy crowd. Went here last night for my friend's 19th birthday. We got here at just after 10, so we were the only ones in the club that weren't working there. Music was blaring, lights were going, and we were... sitting. Once things got going, it was your average club: loud, over-lit, and filled with 20-year-old-ish humans and alcohol. Service: Our server (we had a booth) was great. She was on top of drinks, sweet, and saw to it that my friend (never been to a club) was comfortable and having fun. Atmosphere: Cluby. It was an average club. Nothing amazing, nothing innovative. It looks upscale, with two strobe-light palm trees and two wierd gold statues. Price: Our cover was paid, but the charge before 12 is $20, and $10 after midnight. Umm... so I understand your flashing lights on the floor and the leather couches have to be paid for.. along with your palm trees... but come on. $20? And isn't it supposed to be cheaper to get in earlier? Ladies are free until 11:30, but I think that's a club standard. My other friends got drinks at the bar, and they were priced as in every other club ($7 mixed drinks, $5 Red Bull, etc). Would I go again? If I was invited to another party, yes. Luxy is overrated. I had been here once before (a year ago) and it was a little better, but was hoping this time it would live up to the hype... which it didn't. $20 for cover....ridiculous but expected. The bar service was awful. I understand when it's busy you have to wait awhile, but not when there are only 2 bartenders who rather talk with and provide drinks for ALL their friends who are walking up to the side of the bar before even looking at the long line of people waiting. Drinks are also VERY watered down. The music was awful... really really awful. I like house, dance, hip hop etc, but the choice of house music was REALLY terrible. The DJ played the 3 standard songs for hiphop (montel jordan, house of pain, and fatman scoop), and that was it. If you're going to download playlists offline (which all djs do nowadays), at least try and be slightly more creative. The latin room played a few good salsa & reggaeton sounds, but not before the dj/mc decided to talk over entire songs, thus completely ruining it. They also had a sound problem that made the song sound muffled or something. The club was filled with absolutely rude and abrasive people; its what happens when you mix 21yr olds & alcohol. The douchbag clientele isn't the club's fault, but it really made the experience worse. I'm pretty sure they were way over capacity (you could hardly move without jabbing someone in the ribs), so they should have controlled that better. The one plus was that we didn't wait in line since we were on guestlist, and the bouncers at the door were professional and courteous. All in all, if you want crowded clubs with unpredictable drunk people, don't drive all the way to vaughn. You can get that same experience, with MUCH better music, in the club district downtown. read more

My experience here was one of my worst nightlife experiences I've ever had. First we had to wait 40 minutes standing outside in the cold in order to get into the club. Next security took personal belongings like glasses, hats, gloves and scarves even though it was -10 degrees outside. When asked if we can get our items back on our way out they simply said no its theirs now. Coat check was a DISASTER. 2 coats were 10 dollars and the staff was unprofessional and rude. There was a mix up with jackets and somehow they dumped water all over my jacket so i had to leave in -10 degree weather soaking wet. Staff was rude yelling at people and acting like they were hungry for drama. Save your money and dont come unless you want to pay for a bad night. read more

This place is kept like a JAIL. Bouncers are poorly educated about customer service, and do not know how to treat people. My girlfriend and I were kept in the line for more than an hour for being mistaken for somebody else. Upon the end of the night, she got physically assaulted by one of bouncers while she tried to argue the situation. The bartender tried to rip us off, and when asked for a bill... came back with a different and a much lesser amount. Luxy is a jail and not a club... it makes downtown clubs look like heaven. I would never go back to Luxy nor will my friends. I was there and walking to the washroom minding my own business and got sucker punched by a guy. I fell to the ground and then got up again and got hit another couple of time. Being a girl that isn't right at all. Security did pretty much nothing other then kick the guy out. When I told them I wanted the police. Security just let him go so they wouldn't have to deal with the police and told me I could either leave or go find my friends. They did nothing for me at all. Needless to say no one should be treated like that and I hope for other peoples sacks they fix how they deal with situations like that in the future. read more

The dance hall itself is quite nice. The service of security and coat check is horrendous. We were treated with extreme attitude and offensive language was used. We were unable to get out clothing from coat check due to the workers pretentious attitudes. The group was told to return at the end of the night to retrieve our belongs, we even offered to pay extra to get our coats at that moment, with no luck. We were left going in the middle of winter in short sleeves. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also a disappointment. It seemed as though management has not checked on the situation regularly which lead to a lack of paper towels, spillage on the floor, and an overall disgusting environment. Smokers and vapers should also be aware that they will confiscate your pack and lighters upon entry which is something I have never experienced in any high end clubs even in downtown Toronto. Overall Luxy is a extreme disappointment in the experience from the point of the staff and management. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone wanting to experience a enjoyable night, with good and cheap drinks, safety and great company. read more

Any club that charges the same amount to get inside $10.00 (if your lucky) should actually fill mixed drinks to the top of the glass. 3/4 full (if that) screams upscale wannabe. Horribly rude staff - confiscated prescription meds from my bag, charged me full cover to get into the club with only an hour left before they closed, then kept my driver's licence when I decided I didn't want to enter the club after being treated like dirt at the door. Still trying to get my license back and am being given the run around by the owner. Don't waste your time with this establishment - professionalism isn't a word they comprehend.
