Nice restaurant/bar in the hotel. Drinks and food were all surprisingly good! Was it overpriced? Yeah. But it's a hotel bar The service was slow, and I thought they were going to get confused with all the food, but they didn't.

What a perfect lounge in our hotel. We had eaten earlier in the day, I wanted a quick bite, and maybe a drink. This was great for that. We ended up ordering a drink, some sliders, and wings before retiring back to our room for the night. The service was great, and really fast. We only made it here one of the evenings we stayed in town. I happy we did. Would come back again if staying at the property.

We stopped in to this lounge twice during our stay and I have to say that I'm not a huge fan. The lounge itself was very nice with a great vibe & decorations. They even had live music the night that we arrived. Which was nice. The bartenders even although not the fastest servers, were incredibly nice. The reason for my 3 star rating is for the food. It was very basic hotel food choices for the most part but they did offer a couple of different items. The food was overpriced in my opinion and they add the gratuity to every check no matter the party size. I would recommend going to one of the close-by restaurants to get a more authentic flavor of Seattle.

Overpriced drinks. Bill came to $50 for 2 drinks; a gin and tonic and a vodka w/cranberry. There is an automatic 20% tip included (for very slow service) and tax is added on top of the tip.

Stayed at the Renaissance for work a few times and the bar has pretty great food! I still think about the harvest salad I got sometimes. Great service and a chill ambiance. Comfy place to sit and read whilst sippin on some sauv blanc.

I wanted to love The 515 so bad, but sadly this placed missed the mark. Located in the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, this bar/eatery has a great menu and fun staff. The drinks are delicious, the food tasty, but unfortunately their fun staff was lacking...big time. Like I said, they were super nice, but soooooo slow. The worst part was they weren't even that busy. 10 pm on a Friday night, and there were maybe 20 or so people in the bar, if that. Once seated though, our server took our drink order while we looked at the late night menu. Drinks came out right away, but it was a chore to get someone back over to take our order. Once we ordered, we were then told that several items were no longer available for the night...sigh. Ok, so we picked something else...fries. They were served perfect,y salted and super hot. We the. Wanted another round of drinks. 20 minutes or so goes by, and no one returns to our table, so my husband goes up to the bar to order more drinks and a piece of cheesecake because the brownie was sold out. We were told no food after 10:30. However, my husband waited in their long drink line to get more drinks and our cheesecake for 15 minutes. Thankfully they accommodated us. Everyone else though, they told them room service was available 24 hours and to go up to their room to order. Wait, what? Like I said, the food and drinks are good, but only if you can get them. Such a disappointment...

Small menu, lack luster service, and a bit over priced for what it is. Our server came took our order, and disappeared until the food came and then disappeared again until he brought us the check. At the bar it wasn't much better. I was ignored for about eight minutes the bar tender and the other person who kept walking past me. As for the food, everyone either had a burger or a ceaser salad. The burgers all looked great, and the ceaser salads, it could of used a bit more dressing but otherwise was good.

Service was prompt and attentive. Burger and pork sliders were good. Cosmo was a little weak, but the beer was good.

The diner feels so cozy and homey - old photos of the owner and customers and magnets his guests left are a nice touch. Friendly and attentive service despite the busyness.

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!
