Also, their hamburgers and pizza are top-notch, and I always like to see what creative specials they have...love trying new foods. It's got the kind of ambiance of a place where everybody knows your name :p, but sometimes the sports crowd can get a bit rowdy. A neighborhood institution for its pizza that has a crunchy crust, the biggest pepperoni slices that I have ever seen, large mushroom slices, and a thick layer of cheese. Great selection of craft beers and a changing featured smoked meat. The only problem is a small parking lot so on popular nights you may have to drive around the area and walk several blocks so go early or take a bus! read more

It had been a while since we'd been to the 4 Corners Pub, partly because our last experience wasn't all that - but we decided to give it another go after taking it out of the rotation, and gotta say that it's nice when you have the opportunity to bump up a previous rating. Yep, it was a good night out for pizza, taking advantage of half-price pizza nights on Tuesdays and Thursday. We decided to mix it up a bit and do a sausage and red onion pizza, and along with an ice-cold beer and some ESPN, it was a fun evening out. Plus, where can you go and get a large pan pizza with two toppings for just over $9? As far as parking goes, it's easier to park on the street - the lot is small and the driveway onto University is now blocked-off (actually a good thing). Recently came here with co-workers. I ordered my go-to anywhere, wings. I was delighted when one of the specials was a honey Siracha Brussel sprout. I would consider myself to be a self proclaimed brussel expert. They were DELICIOUS. The wings were also yummy. However the blue cheese dressing could use some love, maybe a little more seasoning because it tasted mostly of blue cheese. My co workers pretty much all ordered the special bacon ham burger and silence immediately fell upon us. They all loved it. Just got back from an impromptu lunch at 4 Corners. The first time I have stepped foot in the joint since 2008, when Freddie owned it. Not to speak poorly of Freddie (may he RIP) or the prior version of the place, but it was always your prototypical townie "dive" bar that had subpar food but ice cold beers. Fast forward to today, and while the outside, interior, and "townie" feel is still there, I was blown away by the quality of the food. I had the Buffalo (Nashville) chicken sandwich, and it was far and away the best I have EVER had. I simply didn't expect that and it was a nice surprise. I've never seen a Buffalo Chicken sandwich where they DOUBLE UP the chicken breasts, at least not without an extra charge. The buffalo sauce was tasty and perfectly accentuated with a few drops of Texas Pete. The sandwich came with handmade fries, which in and of itself is impressive. How many pubs have you been to that simply throw a bag of Utz on your plate? That, the sandwich, and the still-ICY COLD beverages were a welcome break during the workday. Hubby and I had our first dinner together in our new state here, as we were craving pizza. The place was pretty busy on a Sunday evening but there were a couple free tables inside and quite a few outside in the tent area so we didn't have to wait. Hubby got a local pale ale which he said was pretty good, I was driving so had Diet Coke but I eyed with longing a couple of the cocktails which I will try when hubs is the driver. We shared a side Caesar and a medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage and onion. I actually loved the Caesar; the croutons were very sagey and the dressing was very good. It was quite large for a side salad. The pizza also was very good; thin crust with a lot of crunch, tasty sauce, good level of grease for flavor but not so much it makes you queasy. I liked the sausage on it and had mixed feelings on the pepperoni. It was more like a salami to me flavor wise, but it was good quality, thick cut. The reason I was mixed is I felt it overwhelmed the pizza a bit, made it hard to taste the sauce. I think I would just do the sausage and onions next time, but YMMV, like I said it is good quality just not quite what I expected. The pizza looked small for a medium but we only ate half of it since we had salad too. If you weren't eating salad the medium would have been just right for 2 I think. Service was efficient and NY style in manner, which I don't mind but i can tell I am not in Texas anymore. Parking lot was crowded but we luckily got the last space. I don't think we would have been as lucky on Friday or Saturday night so might take a Lyft if we come here then. I think 4 Corners will make it into our regular rotation though. read more

A casual family environment. The place was packed, and we took the second to last table in the dining room. It was LOUD! This was largely due to the 4-7 kids who were out of control moving around and squealing frequently. Service started out at a great pace, but I was never brought more water (if you follow my post this is frequently a theme I review on). We also waited longer than usual to ask for, then also to receive boxes. We'll likely come back since the food was so good - though probably at a later hour (to avoid potential for kids). I have been a patron here for decades. The pizza is In my opinion the best! The crust is truly unique it's crispy on the edges and like pan on the bottom, giant pepperoni are like little bowls of yummyness. Whether you like the center cheesy pieces or the crispy edges you won't be disappointed. My hubby picks this up and drives an hour home and it warms right back in the oven perfectly. Went here on a whim after a blogger posted about their burgers. I love a good bar so I went right inside and sat at the bar. I asked the bartender if there were any drink specials and she told me no..but pointed me to a wall posting of local beers. I told her that I was looking for a cocktail and started to describe the kind I like... (Strong but not sweet) she quickly interrupted me and told me I need to tell her the name of the drink and she would make it and then she walked away.....and never came back to service me. So while I was waiting for her to return I went online and noticed that there was a drink menu. She could have simply offered up the drink menu as most bartenders do when a customer isn't really sure what they want. Real experienced bartenders will actually will even make recommendations based on what you describe...but she simply walked away. Anyways, I was hungry and decided to move outside since it was clear that she wasn't going to give me any proper service. The young lady who serviced me outside was very pleasant...gave me a full drink menu, took my order and the food came out quickly. The ambience outside was a bit quieter but wasn't really what I came for..While I appreciated the waitresses kindness and the food was pretty good (loved the fries), the bartender left a bad taste in my mouth and could work on being nicer and more hospitable to all customers. We've been coming to the pub for the last 12 years...we've seen it change hands and become the Awesomeness it is today. It gives you a small town pub feel in the always busy four corners. The food is always solid and the waitstaff always have been great. Our kids love this place just as much as we do and just to give you an idea of how adored this place is by locals, everyone we've ever met has been here and had a great time. A gem! We were just passing through and found this place on the map. After looking at Yelp reviews, we decided to stop. Place is small, but the food is delicious. Wait staff are great; waiter was awesome. Kiddo got pizza- was great. Came in a square pan. We ordered appetizers- fried pickles, the pretzel with beer cheese, and Rueben egg rolls. It was all really good. The pretzel was soft on the inside and crisp on the outside, the pickle spears were better than the rounds (which I never thought I would say), and the egg rolls were fresh and didn't have too much cheese. I believe they were all made in-house... nothing tasted like it came from the freezer section into the fryer. Local IPA was delicious as was the mixed drink. This is our type of place. No frills... just a good local place with good hearty food. read more

We love 4 corners pub! We come here often and the vibe and ambiance are great. The service is good too! However I really wish there were more vegan friendly options. I wish they were inclusive of vegan diets and had vegan cheese as an option for so many of their dishes that have cheese (especially the pizza and nachos). We were in Silver Spring and looking for a spot for lunch. We decided to give The 4 Corner Pub a try. There is a bar area and a sit down restaurant area. You could seat yourself in the restaurant. Rob came over right away and took our orders. When we said this was our first time in the restaurant and asked for recommendations, he explained that they were really a pizza parlor; but, that the burgers, Reuben, etc. were really good. We decided on the Reuben and the Fish and Chips. My husband said the Reuben was excellent. He did not care for the ranch chips that came with it. I really enjoyed the Fish and Chips with Cole slaw and fries. The piece of fish was enormous. We left happy and full. read more
