    Green pepper and pepperoni pizza.
    Mark F.

Best pizza in JeffCo. Reminds me of Fortel's, which is a family fave. We had a pepperoni and green pepper pizza and it was perfect. The sauce and crust can't be beat

    TOASTED CANNELONI

If you want thin crust pizza then this is your place. The bottom was perfectly cooked. The bacon is just like imos. Their hamburger was cooked to perfection. I will even say the TOASTED CANNELONI was a hit considering how much I love ravioli. These are very similar but I liked the different texture these provided. Overall a great place for a quick pizza

Outstanding pizza! Thin crust, lots of toppings they even make a 'half baked' pizza you finish at home.

Ordered delivery. Pizza was burnt. There was barely any sauce on the Alfredo. Won't order from again.

My favorite place to get a pizza in or around stl. Love the hot pizza sauce option. Lumberjack with hot sauce is my go to pizza.

Several menu options looked good but we got spinach salad with grilled chicken added and Garvey special sandwich. If you're thinking the spinach salad was the healthy option- think again. Well yes the spinach is healthy but it was loaded with bacon and also had a yummy hot bacon dressing! Delicious however I really liked the sandwich! I mean it was fabulous. They had some type of yummy sauce on it. And lots of meat. This establishment has always had quite a following; our friends said it was always busy. And we may return soon for their burger special since those are supposed to be so good.

The hash browns were under cooked and had the texture of lumpy mashed potatoes and the bacon was virtually raw. My meal was not any better. I ordered a chili cheese burger with fries. What I got was a plate full of what tasted like 3 day old chili with a small bun right in the middle of the plate. When I dug through the chili to find the burger I found one that was paper thin with the texture of a piece of soggy cardboard. I don't know if there was any fries under all that chili. It tasted terrible, there was no cheese anywhere. The restaurant looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The waitress/ cashier was rude and obnoxious. The cook was a mess and probably never learned how to cook. Never again

Despite living in STL for over 30 years and having visited Kimswick many times for their various "festivals", we'd never eaten at the Blue Owl, since the place is usually packed. This morning was no different, but to our great surprise, they got us a table for 2 right away. We were seated just after 11 am, which was unfortunately too late for their breakfast menu, so lunch it was! We started with 2 cups of freshly brewed coffee . My lunch selection was a slice of their homemade chicken pot pie, freshly made crust and large bites of chicken inside, topped with a cheese covered crust. It was fresh & delicious! For a side I had a large serving of curly fries, doubt they were made in house, but they were good! My wife eats largely plant based, and ordered a quiche... she may not have read the description of it closely, but as she took her first bite, she discovered it had bacon on it. Rather than send it back, she chose to eat around the bacon. I took a couple of bites and thought it was pretty tasty as well. She had a fresh fruit cup as her side, and it was just that: fresh fruit. The Blue Owl is known for their fresh bakery and after perusing their cake/pie menu, we decided on a lightly frosted carrot cake, but at a $52 price point, we thought it was pretty pricey and instead opted for 2 take-home slices ($7 each slice) to savor later today. Maybe it's holiday pricing, or maybe carrots have been subjected to the tariffs, but $52 for a store bought ( no matter how fresh) cake seemed a bit high. All in all, a delightful experience. The food was delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend The Blue Owl Restaurant & Bakery in Kimswick, MO!
