Came here for my second time with the girlfriend for lunch. I loved the food so much I had to bring the girlfriend. I'm not into eating healthy or eating veggies so today I had the el burrito loco wrap but in a bowl minus the beans and sour cream. The girlfriend for a pesto wrap which she really enjoyed flavor and portion wise. My meal was very enjoyable. I loved the combination of their chicken and steak and the cheese just made it more heavenly. The first time I went, a couple days ago, I ordered the steak quesadilla with fries which I really enjoyed. The fries were yummy and crispy. The prices are a tad high but you do get your money's worth with the portions. I really have enjoyed both experiences I've had here. I will definitely be coming back. read more

What a great little sandwich and salad shop! I work in the area and That's A Wrap is a favorite order spot for my office. The food arrives quickly, it's always hot, and always delicious. It has also always been super fresh; the chicken never has gristle, the lettuce is always crisp, the tomatoes are never mealy. Their french fries are also excellent. If you dine in, you'll find it to be super clean. The staff are seriously always smiling and friendly. I once parked my car right out front to run inside and pick up an order, but didn't put money in the meter. Sure enough, a traffic cop comes moseying down the street and starts scanning my car. Vito, the owner at That's A Wrap, saw all this and actually went outside HIMSELF and put money in the meter for me. No ticket AND I still got to enjoy my delicious Sweet and Sour Chicken Wrap. I've been here a few times. I suppose I am a creature of habit I always seem to get the steak wrap. It has onions garlic sauce steak brown rice phenomenal. They are peanut butter chocolate oatmeal dessert is amazing too. Small place but can fit a couple of friends after a good workout. I have always passed by this place but was never tempted to try it until one day my wife said she and her coworkers had it and it was pretty good. I got the The Mick Wrap $6.95 (Egg whites, sauteed spinach, sliced turkey breast, roasted peppers and Swiss) and the Mrs got the CLT Wrap $6.95(Chicken, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, avocado, Swiss and Dijon. Served in your choice of wrap.) and we both got a drink: Mango Mania Smoothie (Mango and pineapple) and Detox Green Machine Juice (Spinach, wheat grass, celery, parsley, apples and pears) The Mick Wrap was awesome mainly because I'm an egghead and loves eggs, it was hot and well seasoned, the Swiss cheese totally combined all the ingredients together. I have driven passed this place a few times but I never ventured inside. Then my wife and her friend went here for dinner one night and came back raving about it. I have to admit, I still haven't eaten inside. I work a lot and most nights I just want to go home and relax. So every time I've ever had their food it was because I ordered in. My main concern with this establishment is how fresh their food is. When I ordered a chicken Cobb salad, I saw that my avocado was already really dark. Like it was really close to being rotten but they just served t anyways. I love having avocados in my salads so this was just disappointing for me. I think if they just took a bit more time prepping this salad they would have noticed that the avocado was already going bad. Also I noticed that a lot of their fruits were pre cut and were already turning brown on their counter before using it for their juice. I am just praying that the drink I am drinking right now wasn't made with those fruits. But I'm probably wrong. Overall, not a terrible experience at It's A Wrap. Bayside needed a healthy lunch alternative and this place does the job. When I'm in the mood for a good salad or wrap, there's no place that does it for me except here. There are definitely better restaurants on bell boulevard, but when I need a break from my usual fatty pizzas and pasta, I know I can get a good wrap here. Luckily, this place delivers so I'm chomping down in the comfort of my home. The wraps are really big so underestimate the power of vegetables. But if you're looking for something more filling, they have these wraps with chicken teriyaki and brown rice which is good. The chicken avocado wrap is my favorite though! I've gotten it a few times and I'm sad to say there was only one piece of avocado in all those occasions. But I still really enjoy it each time. I love their wraps that you can make into bowls, they actually taste good but are less salty and more filling than Chipotle bowls. My history with That's A Wrap is long, I've been eating here for around 3 years. At first, their food was rather good! I normally order the chicken wrap, plain, with some avo, tomato, and lettuce. Around the summer 2014, I decided to order a salad, same set-up as the wrap just in a container. There was a lady bug at the bottom with hair in the salad. I called That's A Wrap, and the owner who is lovely assured me their greens are home grown, so there is bound to be bugs. Which I though was rather reasonable. Here is where things go downhill. 1. I've been having bladder infection pressure for over 5 months now, and until today the cause was unknown. 3 night's ago, I projectile vomited their entire shrimp salad, and pooped out everything else on the other end. I've been down with FOOD POISING for 3 days now! Went to my doctor yesterday to test my urine, turns out e coli is the cause of my bladder infection. Funny enough, I have no pressure after vomiting out all that crap. Makes sense since I've been eating there for so long, which circulates around the bacteria (average 4 times a week). 2. My mother who normally had ordered a quesadilla, ham/cheese, got nauseous each time eating there. However, we liked the workers there SO much we decided it maybe was a bad day for em'. Nope. She ended up vomiting their spinach salad up last fall, which caused her to go into the hospital with food poisoning. We should have stopped ordering then. However, the connection finally was clear between my health issues, and my mothers. 3. The chicken is extremely DRY. Sometimes moist, but normally dry, thin, over seasoned, and tastes microwaved. Only thing fresh is the tomatoes and avo. Seems reused. 4. Each time food was eaten, it tasted different, but did not make me feel so fine and dandy. Was something to eat, that adhered to my lifestyle, so I put up with it. All in all, save your money, and health, and eat somewhere else. For the love of God. I decided to write this review, and specifically MAKE a Yelp account for the sheer fact, I am not able to do my modeling jobs, nor acting jobs due to being so sick. If you want to get e coli, or if you want to be shaking, and pale as a ghost after vomiting, eat here! I don't care WHAT the owner says at this point. Upon trying to fix the last order the very young lady on the phone gave me an unnecessary attitude and was so rude I actually hung up on her and drove to the location. I actually wound up speaking to the owner who then attempted to defend the young lady saying "She had a bad day" and then tried to say he oversees all the orders?!?! Where were you when they messed up my order and spoke to the disrespectful girl on the phone?!? This was my second time here and they have some really good stuff here! First time I ended up ordering their philly steak wrap which was excellent. The second time I ordered a panini which was actually similar to the philly cheese steak- it was just really messy by the time I got to eat it. So maybe next time I'll have it to stay there when it's just made lol The wraps hold up pretty well for "to go" orders though. They have tons of different wraps and sandwiches so take your pick.
