I paid $2.00 for avocados and got only 3 slices...I asked them for more because it seemed such a rip off but they told me 3 slices is normal. Be prepared for any wrap or panini from here to be HUGE! When you see the wrap sliced in half, it's still the size of your head. My friend always orders the mozzarella panini and she loves it. The paninis also come with fries but you can choose sweet potato fries instead if you like. The fries are a bit soggy and not great but everything else is decent and filling. What I come here for are the smoothies. They aren't overpriced and never overly sweet which is great. Try the Berryone or the rainbow symphony both are delicious. Am I ordering the wrong things all the time? I don't know how this place has 4 stars. It's befuddling. My theory is that it's probably a great go-to spot for people to come to post-gym, which is next door. I've been here three times, though I've only eaten here twice (my boyfriend got food from here once right after I got my wisdom teeth taken out. No girl should ever have to watch her boyfriend eat sweet potato fries when she's coming out of anesthesia. I practically imploded and cried all over his already-soggy and terribly-un-seasoned fries). The good: the mango mania smoothie (mango + pineapple) was bomb. The bad: Oriental chicken salad - the dressing is disguuuusting, pure corn syrup! Blegh! And you serve this to the health conscious folk? Ranch dressing would've been healthier than this globby gloopy mess of 'sesame-giner' melted sugar. The chicken felt like leather pieces - practically inedible. At least the greens were fresh? The ugly: Veggie wrap - imagine eating the leftover pieces of someones kabob stick after they've eaten all the edible parts to it (the meat) and threw out whatever veggies were left on that stick as 'garnish'. This tasted like PAPER!!!! I'm pretty sure all of the vegetables are just grilled and seasoned with salt and pepper. Apparently, there's some garlic and herb in there as well (just read the menu), but this is to be debated. I don't know guys. Maybe I should be ordering the burrito or quesadilla. There's no place else like this in Bayside, with the exception of "The Health Nuts" in the Bay Terrace Mall. I have only had their egg white wrap with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and swiss cheese, and it is always excellent. They have a variety of other wraps that I have yet to try, as well as healthy beverage and snack options. Their interior is aesthetically appealing as well. This was my second time here and they have some really good stuff here! First time I ended up ordering their philly steak wrap which was excellent. The second time I ordered a panini which was actually similar to the philly cheese steak- it was just really messy by the time I got to eat it. I ordered the southern quesadilla ($7.45)--it has cheese, black beans, and bbq chicken--and the sweet potato fries ($3). The delivery guy came an hour after I ordered, and he was really nice...I didn't have much cash and he gladly accepted a $10 roll of quarters as part of my payment. The food, though, was underwhelming. Boo for living in Socal and knowing what a real quesadilla should taste like! It was actually pretty hard eating the whole thing...it had a slight charred flavor that I didn't appreciate. I hardly tasted any BBQ flavor at all. The salsa that came with it was pretty bland and didn't taste fresh. It wasn't even spicy either. I've been here several times over the past few years and the food is hit or miss. The juices are delicious but they only fill the cups half way and the rest is foam. You pay for a 16 oz and get 8 oz, kind of annoying. My most previous visit was horrific. The manager ( a bald headed average build average height white man) answered the store phone and was being very rude to a customer on the other side of the line. When he hung up the phone he was making fun of the person with the other employees and cursing. That person called back a few minutest later and I then found out it was the local Fire Dept (because he said loudly "f*** it's the fire dept again, what idiots") Lastly I ordered 2 large juices, 1 live wire and 1 cab and it took 25 minutes from order to walking out. The girl was taking her time and literally was putting her hands into her pants and lifting them because they were falling off her waist. LASTLY they don't take the stickers off of the carrots and apples. They say the juicer removes all stickers when they put them into the machine.
