Turkey Tom sandwich with provolone and one additional portion of turkey.
    Trish H.

UPDATE Apr 26: I ordered extra meat (2.99) and now the sandwich is too big . The overall taste profile is pretty great to me so I'm giving them a bump up in star level and keep trying since it's a very good and fresh sandwich. Prices are up all over I know - this cost me $15.76 with the low fat potato chips no drink. I forgot to add cheese and though the employee had no way to charge me just for the cheese he added it for me anyway. Big points for this ! So I left a tip -------april 25 Consider Ordering extra meat. I got the turkey Tom sandwich on wheat, which is actually multigrain that I like much better - very fresh bread, top marks. I added provolone and a bag of chips for a total cost of $13.58. 2 slices of provolone, very fresh and good quality. Here's my negative: Two maybe three slices of Turkey? Wow, could they spare it? Have these guys been to a regular deli in NYC? For this price nothing less than 4 or 5 slices is ok for a $10 sandwich. Plus my cat wanted some. Where is his turkey ‍ Last remarks - it was a really good tasting sandwich, fresh mayo, lettuce, tomato & any extras (onions for me) Also my cat opened the bag before me so I didn't get a picture. I will likely buy it again because this chain deli is so close to my front door and when I'm hungry it's not pretty. This is a brand new and shares a dining area with Dunkin Donuts. Extremely clean. Friendly service, pretty quick. I wish them luck...mostly with putting more meat on my sandwiches

Standard deli sandwich but in a fast food type setting. Better than Subway but that doesnt say much. They make food only to order.

Upon arrival, I genuinely thought the place was closed--everything looked grimy and unsanitary. The loaded fries were decent but noticeably small for the price, presentation was just OK . The chicken sliders were chewy, and the side of fries was bland and lacked any crispiness. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth a return visit.

Since I love hot chicken, I wanted to try this local spot that advertises itself as Nashville style. I recently had Dave's Hot Chicken so that's my comparison. This business actually used the Dave's stock images on their Yelp photos, so it's clear they are trying to emulate them. The chicken tenders are lightly breaded white meat that is in between juicy and dry, actually a little juicier than Dave's. The breading is light and crunchy, but not very flavorful. They deliver on spice though! I ordered two sliders: one medium and one extra hot. I will say their spice levels are accurately named. The medium was just a hint of heat, while the extra hot made my head sweat. The person working there mentioned they couldn't do two different spice levels for an order of tenders+side, but only if I ordered sliders+side. Really not sure why they operate that way since the chicken would be prepared the same way. They did write the spice levels on the inside of the lid to distinguish between the two sliders. The fries were just average fries with a hint of Cajun seasoning sprinkled on. I thought the potato buns were the right choice due to the fluffiness, paired with the light crunch of the chicken with the pickles and house sauce, which was a low-heat spicy mayo rendition. Not very flavorful. The actual interior was not the cleanest and it didn't seem very well maintained. The tables were not wiped down and overall seemed a bit dingy.

The Fresh Meadows location is right by Kohl's with ample parking. The standout hospitality began the moment I walked in. An employee directed me to the counter and helped me place my order, explaining the menu items. Another friendly employee ( I think his name was Alex) noticed my large order and personally helped carry four trays of food to the table, setting the tone for a genuinely great visit. From the first bite, it's clear this is far from ordinary fast-casual fare--the chicken is juicy beneath a perfectly crisp, non-greasy coating, and the spice levels are seriously dialed in, whether you opt for a manageable Mild or decide to take on a real heat challenge. I love that the chicken rests on the white bread which absorbs all the delicious juices. The menu is thoughtfully simple, focusing on sliders, tenders, and satisfying sides, all served fresh and hot. All delicious. The kale coleslaw is a triumph. So are the pickles. I despise pickles, yet ill eat all the pickles at Dave's. They're so good! And don't even think about skipping the Oreo milkshake, thick, refreshing, and loaded with real cookie chunks, it's the ideal finale, especially if you've embraced the spice. For anyone in Queens craving authentic, high quality Nashville style fried chicken, this spot is absolutely worth a special trip. Highly recommended, and to top it all, IT'S HALAL!!! WHAT?!?! I'm glad there is now in a location in Queens with a huge parking lot. The prices are not very cheap but they do give good quality chicken. The space inside is pretty simple and minimalistic -- clean, modern, nothing overly fancy. It feels like the kind of place you pop into when you're craving a good burger without making a whole production out of dinner. They focus on smash burgers, so you get those crispy edges with a juicy center, which is always a win. Everything is 100% halal, which I appreciate, and the menu has a few fun options like the Jalapeño Thrill, Garlic Mushroom smash, and even a Morning Flare burger with a fried egg and beef bacon. There are chicken and veggie options too if that's more your speed. I kept it simple and ordered a burger with fries, and it really hit the spot. Nothing overcomplicated -- just a well-made burger, good flavor, and fresh ingredients. The kind of meal that feels satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, it's a great casual stop in Bayside if you're near the train or just looking for a quick halal burger. Perfect for a laid-back weekday meal.

Actually checking out the inside it turns out it is a smashburger place that is reminiscent of the burgeoning 7th Street chain that is popping up everywhere. What I appreciate about this place is the menu has more options than 7th Street. Listening to my buddy Billy C who capitalized GARLIC MUSHROOM burger in his review made me intrigued, He was totally on the mark with this - I loved the pile of garlicky mushroom sitting on this burger. We paired this with the loaded fries which made a good shareable meal since we were not too hungry. Like 7th Street, Mexican coke is available if that is your thing. Other burger options include kimchi, jalapenos and fried egg in various configurations. Again like 7th Street, decor is unremarkable, but at least they have seating unlike most of the stand up tables in most 7th Streets Overall, this is a solid Bell Blvd option that should continue to thrive despite the dwindling bar/drinking culture that used to dominate this area.

Staff greeting and welcoming you with a warm smile when you walked in. Ordered at the counter, would take 10-15 min to make the sandwich. Ambiance wise = Love the hipster comic-styled wallpaper. Super genuine staff and great service as well. Can pay with cash or card, but there's a small service fee being charged for card. Besides getting the Angry Nonna Sandwich ($15.50), also ordered the regular fries that came with spicy mayo ($6.53) + a Krave It pineapple pop soda ($3.96) to wash everything down. Staff brought everything to the table even though it was only self serve. 1) Angry Nonna Sandwich: The mildly spicy sauce was delicious and savory. Chicken parm was seasoned well and not salty. Bread could've been a little more crunchy imo. Portion size was plentiful and definitely enough for a full meal. 2) Regular Hand Cut Fries: So many widely-cut fries and more fries than I'd imagined for a single order. Worth it! Size wise was like those halal rice platter in aluminum foil container. I got full midway but still finished the whole thing. Fries were definitely freshly prepared and made. Could've been just a little bit more crispier. Spicy mayo was the perfect sauce to dip the fries in. 3) Krave It Pineapple Soda: Refreshing to taste with the sandwich & fries. Don't need a bottle opener to pop off the sodas. Just need to twist it off yourself. Easily done! Their sodas are made of cane sugar. The fizziness felt good against the back of my throat. I plan to keep going back whenever I'm in the area by myself or with friends. Would recommend this spot to other Yelpers, family and friends. They're opened to late hours everyday. Lastly, don't forget to tip the hardworking staff working there!
