Quesadillas and wings and grilled cheese special and all 3 kinds of fries were good. The sweet potato fries were sooooo yummy ! A must get for the table to share. Would be a good starter ! Would definitely come back!

Fresh and hot defined these apps perfectly! The sticks were warm and stringy, the pretzels were warm, soft, and salty. The cheese dip was actually delicious and tasted nothing like a can mix. For the main courses we had the home made mac and cheese that was topped with pulled pork which was sauced in Sweet Baby Rays and the Loaded Nachos topped with the Firehouse's award winning chili. The food all came out sized for a table of 8 with savory and sweet hints of deliciousness! The waitress was welcoming, outgoing, and offered sound advice on food choices. The cook staff was timely and efficient, and the bar tender was busy busy slinging cups full of the nectar of God (BEER!!)! The Firehouse House ambience lived up to the name with firefighter equipment, first responder memorabilia, and crafty decor. The only downside to this establishment is that is dark and throws a dive bar vibe. 9/10... we will be coming back here for sure (and ordering less food)!!

The restaurant is a hometown staple…read more The atmosphere is dated and homely; the entire place is painted a flat gray tone and all of the general dinning area is carpeted (in 3 different types). The carpets are really in need of a good cleaning. The hostess was kind and welcoming and the waitress was timely and punctual with all provided services. The food was good. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and barroom pretzels as appetizers. The mushrooms were well cooked and seasoned well. The pretzels were delicious and well cooked. For the main courses we orders the coconut shrimp with onion rings and the Boston Lobster pie with baked beans and sweet potato fries. The lunch portion of the coconut shrimp was well cooked and visually appealing. The lobster pie was a fair share and well cooked and topped with bread crumbs and soaked in butter.

I never really considered checking it out until my in-laws suggested we go for lunch one day. I always just saw the sign and kept on driving. Now, it is good... and as a bariatric patient, I am usually pretty hesitant to try new places simply because of my restrictions; however, I was pleased to find that there were options that worked for my post-op food plan. Yes, there's a lot of fried options, and there's a lot of pasta, but the stir-fry is what got me saying, "yeah I'll give it a go," and later, "yeah, I'd come back." The food has been consistent, and with a young child (who is a fantastic eater and not that picky... but still), that's huge for us. The service has always been great. They are accommodating, punctual, and friendly. Our most recent visit was extra impressive, because our server happily made sure to spend a little extra time and had so much patience with my five year old who is learning how to order for himself. Give it a go, friends. It's a pretty solid spot.

Not sure why we forget to go here as the service is great, food is excellent never disappointing…read more They had a great meal and everything was cooked perfectly sharing my favorite goat cheese and beats salad. My wife had tuna and I had scallops. Portions were large. If you've not been here before it is in the beach smell so a nice atmosphere. The bread here is so good! I swear I could've made a meal out of just that! I had the sesame seared tuna, and my husband had the scallops carbonara. I was amazed at how much tuna they gave me! This was not a small portion by any means. It was served with sticky rice and sautéed vegetables in a teriyaki sauce. I probably should've gotten the teriyaki sauce on the side, as I don't like a lot of sauce on vegetables. Vegetables were cooked to perfection though, as was the fish. The carbonara was rich and creamy with some good sized scallops on it. We also had the beet and goat cheese salad, which was large and definitely enough to share. We ended with the flourless torte, which was very rich and decadently chocolate. A few bites was enough, and we were able to take the rest home for later. Great meal that did not break the bank as opposed to Portland prices, and there was parking!
