my friend and i were craving some thai food and decided to come by this place for lunch! we didn't have super high expectations, but we really did enjoy both of our meals. since most thai places around boston give bigger portions at usually a higher price, we were appreciative over the fact that their lunch dishes were just the right amount of food, slightly cheaper, and didn't leave us feeling uncomfortably full. i'd give this place 4.25/5 stars if i could just because of that!

both cash and card are accepted!
if you're deciding to come for lunch or dinner, i'd recommend coming for lunch! their prices are a few dollars cheaper; while the portions are probably not as big, it's still enough to feel full!
- atmosphere -
while the restaurant may seem small from the outside, there's quite some space on the inside. i believe there were around 15 tables, and it wasn't very crowded either. the ambiance was pretty low key and most of the people eating there were with friends for a casual lunch.
- overall experience -
my friend and i came on a sunday afternoon at around 12:00 pm. the restaurant was about half full when we first arrived but was pretty much entirely full by the time we left; it might've been because it was also mother's day! we were greeted by a nice server who took our orders shortly after we were seated. we waited around 20 minutes for our food, which wasn't that long considering how there were plenty of other tables to be served too. the service here was great overall and we didn't have any complaints!
- recommendations -
highly recommend that you must try their pad thai!

-pad thai lunch: i was used to other restaurants letting you choose your protein for a customized price when ordering pad thai, but this place only had one option. my lunch pad thai came with stir-fried rice noodles, chicken, around 2 pieces of shrimp, egg, scallion, bean sprout, and ground peanuts for ~$13. although i'm not sure if they'll make accommodations for vegetarian or only shrimp options, i would ask just to be sure. the shrimp and chicken were cooked just the right amount, and the noodles had the perfect balance of savory, nutty, sweet, and slightly acidic flavors! it seems like they used a bit more fish sauce than other places. i didn't really mind, since the peanut flavor stood out well too, even though there strangely weren't many visible ground peanuts. in my opinion, the portions weren't as big as i was used to, but i was able to finish my entire plate without feeling stuffed; the portions were just the right amount to fill me up, and the noodles weren't too oily either. im sure you can get more food at other thai restaurants for the same price, but i wasn't really looking to take home leftovers anyway. i can definitely see myself coming back in the future and ordering this!
