Quick trip into the city and we got a little hungry. Popped into this adorable little spot. The hostess was so sweet when greeting us. They opened at 3 and we got there at 3:01. It was a cold day and she directed us to the seating near the heater (barely felt the heater though). There's limited seating, seems more set up for grab and go or quick lunches. Service was quick and the food was okay, decent flavors, nothing to write home about, just on Yelp. The price point was a bit high for such a tiny portion size. They took great care with the tofu and it was nice to have food that was piping hot. Not sure we will go back, but the college students love it.

Such sweet and accommodating staff and quick to make orders! This small restaurant was a staple for me during COVID and still is. Their food is oddly comforting to me and soooo tasty! The lady at the front is also the best person, always is happy to see customers! Highly recommend their pineapple fried rice and crispy chicken pad Thai!

Just had my first taste of my neighborhood thai takeout and I am very satisfied. I only tried the Tom Yum soup which many know to be a hot and sour soup with your choice of chicken, shrimp or tofu and their "Pinto" fried wings which were a flavor bomb. Imagine marinating chicken wings with the same flavors of the hot and sour soup including lemon, lemongrass chiles etc then breading and deep frying them. Really good. As good as any chicken wings in the area including near by Slades. P.S. the lady at the front was so nice and attentive she made the whole experience 110% better.

The best Thai food in Boston for comfort + the soul. My partner and I LOVE Thai food. In fact, we're quite spoiled being from California and having had some of the most authentic, mouth-watering, hits-home Thai food everrr. Bangkok Pinto is our absolute go-to. And we are so loyal, we don't care for any other Thai restaurants in the city. We always get the Drunken Noodles and Pinto Chicken Wings - 100% recommend. We love the owners -- the woman who runs the cash register is the sweetest, most humble being. We are delighted each time we visit and order for take-out, knowing that we are supporting a true gem of a small business. We wish them so much love.

$18 for Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice.... The portions of the pork are insanely small now.

$18 for Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice.... The portions of the pork are insanely small now. I used to order all the time the past year. I don't understand how they can charge this much for basically just rice. The pork pieces used to be way thicker and bigger, but now they're just scamming.

After waking up this morning feeling a bit under the weather, I decided today would be a perfect day to order UberEats. I ordered Pad Thai from Bangkok Pinto and within 25 minutes my driver arrived with an aromatic scented batch of warm noodle goodness. Yum! Highly recommend!

This small and cozy restaurant is located at the Roxbury side of Northeastern University on Tremont Street. The outside of the restaurant is painted in a soft, glowing grass green color that makes it stands out instantly from the rest of the neighborhood. The place serves typical, traditional Asian food. There are a lot of items on the menu with no surprises in their authenticity and tastes. Even though one of the smallest restaurants in the area, this place made me feel like home. It has become my comfort food place. I often find myself drawn to the store for its homey and warm vibe. Case in point- on weekends, when the owner of the restaurant is free, she takes it upon herself to greet the customers and make sure everything goes well. Since I've been there plenty of times, she even remembers my go-to order. I've never failed to see a smile on her face. People say customer service is the key to a successful business. The owner really does a great job to extend her enthusiasm, and I've gotten similar, positive feedback from my fellow Northeastern students. My go-to orders include the pad see ew, duck noodle soup, kao mun gai- steamed chicken with ginger rice and a sweet & spicy sauce. Kao mun gai is one of the healthier dishes in the restaurant. It is not on the menu yet, but you can find its picture on the wall. I also enjoy their Udon garlic noodle, Thai iced tea, and popcorn chicken occasionally. One suggestion I have: maybe consider NOT using plastic boxes as plates; they are detrimental to the environment. Overall- refreshing spot in the Roxbury neighborhood, authentic taste and consistent quality, superb customer service, could use some improvements but overall amazing place!

What a cute little place! The staff are SO friendly and SO attentive. It's a small restaurant, but it's so well organised and beautifully decorated. Love it! The food is quite unique, and I really enjoyed the different approach to spices combinations that they had! In particular, I really like the lemon spicy buffalo wings. That was quite unique in both taste and texture! It's simultaneously zesty sour and spicy with a grilled-fried skin powdered with spicy powder. Yums!! Green Curry: This was on the lighter side of tastes, but I actually really enjoyed it. There was an abundance of vegetables, and the curry was actually a good amount of spicy. The chicken had an interesting texture, but I can't decide if I like it or not. This is definitely a really awesome place to have food with a few friends! It provides a unique "fusion" experience, and I think a lot of people would find it refreshing and fun.

The restaurant was casual, but nice, and had several other tables of diners at that time. The staff was very friendly, as well. The menu had some really interesting dishes that I had not seen elsewhere, but I was lame and ordered my usual - Chicken Pad See Ew. I found the poultry to be very tender, and the included broccoli was fresh and crisp. I should note that the broccoli used was the popular Calabrese kind, while Chinese broccoli cost $1 more. In fact, there were several upcharges scattered around the menu, which was a bit much. Anyway, back to the dish...In addition to the broccoli, carrots were also included, which was not typical for Pad See Ew, but I was fine with it! The sweet soy sauce was a bit thick, like a light gravy, so that was a bit unusual, but the flavor was terrific! I heard reasonably positive things about their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles as well. Thaitation would be a place I would frequent if I lived in the area.

Noise levels were low for most of the meal, but at one point turned up to blast a rendition of "happy birthday" for another guest - after that, music stayed a bit too loud, which seemed to clash with the otherwise calm ambiance. They didn't ask for our preferred spice levels for the main dishes, and I would've liked everything a little bit spicier. We originally wanted the salmon spring rolls but they were out. We got Tod Mun (fried fish cakes) instead, and they were really tasty. They were smaller but greater in quantity than what I've seen elsewhere, and the sauce was good. I'm not a huge fan of the side salads, though this one surprised me with the spiciness in the dressing. We ordered the mango curry (which comes with chicken, and we added steamed tofu for no charge) and tofu drunken noodles. The noodles were really good, plus looked more appetizing than the similarly-popular pad thai. I was hoping the mango in the curry would be large, beautiful pieces of sweet mango on top, so I was a little disappointed that the small chunks weren't quite as flavorful as I was hoping for. However, I was still quite happy with the dish overall. It also comes with a (pretty small) bowl of rice on the side. The food by itself would be 4 stars for me, except that at the very end of my meal, as I was polishing off the curry, I found a long hair stuck to the bottom of my plate. It didn't match ours, so I know for sure it came from the staff. I know it happens, but the ick factor is hard to get over. Knocked off a star for the unfortunate hair.

I've had a few…read moredifferent things here that hit it out of the park every time, but the biggest reason to keep coming back here is that they have a dish I've never seen at any other Thai places: Ba Mee Song Kruang. I had never heard of this dish before but it quickly became a favorite in my household and we always order at least one order of it. Basically, it is described as "thin egg noodles with Thai style roast pork, fish balls, chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, and topped with crispy wonton." It is AMAZING. On top of what's listed, it comes with ground pork in the noodles and a sweet and savory sauce that perfectly coats the egg noodles. There are 3 different kinds of fish balls - a shrimp one, a whitefish one, and a fried one, as well as peanuts, deliciously juicy roast pork (char sew), and the crispy wontons add that perfect extra texture and crunch. Man, if I could eat this every week I would. Easily a 5/5 - this is the only place I've seen this dish and it is out of this world. The rest of the menu is also great, but you absolutely have to try the Ba Mee Song Kruang if you come here.
