In the last year we have become 100% vegan and to our anazement the chef has accommodated our diet and the taste is without compromise. Finally a good Thai place! I'm a sucker for Thai basil chicken and this place nails it so spicy and delicious. The pad Thai and fried rice were also tasty and it's clear they Use good ingredients. First time there, at the old Sorrento's location in downtown Marlboro. Very nice ambiance inside, friendly staff. Positives: -Cocktails were terrific. I had a Mai Tai that was "fortified" but not cloyingly sweet. My wife had a Cosmo which she enjoyed. -Saigon fresh rolls were very crisp and refreshing, albeit loosely packed and hard to keep intact while dipping. -Hot and Spicy Noodles: Excellent. Good amount of fire, great flavor and texture. Definitely ordering this again. -Wife had the vegetable & tofu stir fry, which she enjoyed. -"Pyramid" of white & brown rice served with the entrees. Tasty, and visually appealing. Needs work: -Waiter, while pleasant, was somewhat unfamiliar with menu. -While very tasty, the Tom Yum soup was aggressively sour. And I like things sour. Me and my Girlfriend went to this restaurant because it looked good based off their photos. We have looked at other reviews online and so we went. Entering the establishment, was an experience, it was very welcoming and the bar looked very aesthetically pleasing. The server we had was very nice and even refilled our water without asking. For drinks I got the Taru Milk tea with boba and my Gf got the mango milk tea with boba. They both tasted very milky and tasty. For appetizers we got the fried gyoza and a wonton soup. The wonton soup was subpar and could've used some more flavor, on the other hand the filling in the gyoza was extremely juicy and flavorful. It was jam packed with a burst of flavor but you only get 6 for the price of 9$. For our main course, I got the Japanese chicken curry and my Gf got the pad Thai. The chicken with curry was very savory, crunchy, and rice underneath paired nice with the dish and helped tone down fried chicken. The pad Thai was sweet and savory, however we both felt like it had a little bit too much fish sauce. Overall I'd say the food was very good, the plating was nice, but it is a little steep for the portions they give. The ambience is warm and cozy, I would definitely come back here in the future. read more

Stopped in for a bite last night, first time here. There weren't many other diners there - probably due to the impending snowstorm, because I can't imagine any other reason why. The decor is soothing and clean. The host and waitstaff worked nicely as a team, supporting each other, all friendly and engaging. The food - excellent. I had the Soft Tofu Soup and the Chicken Cashew Nuts - both fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this place and hope that tonight's lack of attendance was not the norm. All the food is made to order the dishes are prepared just as you like. That is a big plus. The prices are excellent! Portions are excellent! The food is excellent! Service, fantastic! Gluten free options are very good and extensive! The made to order menu really helps out with that. Appetizers are priced so good we had 3! The appetizers were excellent also. It is so nice to not travel into Boston to get some fantastic Thai food and no Boston Prices. This place should be packed every night! I will be coming back soon and often. Whenever my wife and I order takeout this place is on our short list. The noodle dishes are great Pad Thai and all specifically the Thaitown street noodles with beef. Also try the chicken satay and the crab Rangoon are some of the best homemade rangoons I have had. Enjoy! read more

We had a wonderful dinner, although the waiter wasn't very attentive. The one thing that I could kick myself for, they added an 18 percent tip that I didn't notice and then I tipped 20 percent ontop of that. I thought it was more expensive than it should be but I thought I after wrong. Other than that, it's was very good. read more

I ordered the hot and spicy noodles with the chicken and shrimp today which is my usual but was disappointed because it was not spicy at all. I have been here 3 or 4 times and every time the food is awesome.!!! This place is totally a hidden gem in Marlborough and we highly recommend it especially if you like high quality food with lots of flavor. Tonight my husband and I took my parents out and everyone loved their respective dishes. My mom had the Beef Massaman Curry, my husband - the Crispy Duck Curry, my father - Chilean sea bass Panang curry and I had the Lemongrass Beef Salad. All of it was awesome. We also shared a mango salad as the waitress let us know that they weren't happy with the quality of the green papaya they had on hand. The mango substitution was excellent as well. The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating when people have substitution requests. If you like Thai food, this place is a definite must! read more

Where should I begin? We walked in and just stood there for a while before anyone acknowledged us. It wasn't very busy, a few tables. So my biggest complaint was how long we waited for the food. At least an hour or more? My kid was so hungry. When I asked one of the servers how much longer, she said they were very busy with takeout orders. No apologies nor offering us a complimentary drink or something? I don't think I've ever waited this long to be served. It was one of those moments where plates of food kept passing us by. And I kept wondering where is it going since there weren't that many ppl here when we got here. It seems everyone that arrived after us, was getting their food except us! Aaah! Not ok! Finally get our food and it's okay. The green curry was missing something in flavor??? And it was a super small portion compared to everything else I had seen. The fried rice was okay. The Tom yum soup was good. I would never eat here ever again! I would have left before the food arrived but since my kid was super hungry, I didn't want to start all over again elsewhere. Two of us went for a simple Pad Thai lunch. The place had 3 tables with guests...very empty. My order came out after a reasonable time but the other Pad Thai order for the person I came with came out of the kitchen 10 minutes later. They told us there was some confusion about the order--I am not sure how that could be with an almost completely empty restaurant. My Pad Thai was barely warm when it came out. I asked if they could create another one and not put this in the microwave. The receptionist took my plate after returned shortly with an updated meal with one side having a microwave hot spot and the other side still lukewarm. I won't be going back. read more

Just got delivery of the most flavorful food from Thairiffic. The Tom Yum soup with chicken. It's an amazing broth made with lemongrass. We also enjoyed very much the crispy Thai spring rolls. There are four to an order, enough for two people. The main dish was Thai town street noddles with tofu. The tofu is cooked chewy and flavorful. The noddles had a unbelievable flavor. Loved my lunch with a friend after a matinee at Regal Cinema, Marlborough. After a short drive from the cinema we arrived at Theiriffic and found ample street parking. We were seated by the fireplace (electric) which made it very cozy on a chilly December afternoon. Our entrees were nicely seasoned and not drenched in oil or sauces so the lovely flavors came through. I recommend the leechee ice cream for dessert. Very nice staff and tasteful decor made this the perfect spot for our post-matinee lunch. read more

I would give this restaurant a 2.5* rating but I rated down because this is the first time I had a dish that came out COLD. We tried a bunch of different items from starters to all their meats. I felt the prices were high for the meal size. Appropriately pricing would probably be $12-13 per entree rather than $18-20+ as they have it. The waiter spoke terrible english and almost seemed annoyed to make suggestions. Another waiter would periodically check in to see if we needed anything else. Some of the meats were hard to chew. The chicken wings appetizer was astonishingly FROZEN COLD on the inside while the outer layer was hot and crunchy. 1 wing was half inedible because of it. The molten lava cake was very tiny and not even warm, forget "molten." We don't live in the area so we won't be back. It wasn't a highly memorable meal. Can of soda was almost $3. I understand if they charge $4-5 and put unlimited refills from a tap or something but the pricing is definitely higher side. UPDATE: Thanks for your response. Thanks for keeping the meat halal. Much appreciated for that. Certain food items were not warm/hot as they should be. Waiter should be more respectful. I'm not sure if he couldn't speak english well enough to make recommendations. We were not upset just had higher expectations for portion size based on price. But as you have explained halal meat in your area is much more expensive, thanks for the clarification. I really don't know where to begin. Let me just say that a guy will refill your water when it's down 1 inch from the top, so he's constantly watching you eat. The food was OK but Chez Siam in Marlborough is better. And, they charged me $6 for a $3 Coors Light and refused to correct the receipt for some unknown reason, so we simply deducted $3 from our already-meager 15%-instead-of-20% tip. They sat us in a completely-empty half of the restaurant which felt sleepy. Anyway, don't make a trip to Marlborough for this restaurant. If it's your only choice, get takeout. read more

Just opened and I couldn't be happier. The food was amazing. The pad Thai was authentic and I loved it. My wife loved her red curry beef. And we also got the Mongolian need I asked for spicy and they did it for me. I hope they get their liquor license soon because the bar is huge in here. Based on the favorable reviews we decided to try Thairiffic in downtown Marlborough,MA. We have been staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and people at the front desk were hesitant to suggest a restaurant they hadn't tried. So hint to management, you may want to invite local hotel managers to your restaurant with a nice discount. Perhaps then they would recommend your restaurant to travelers. The food was fresh and delicious. I asked for extra vegetables in my chicken red curry and they accommodated that. This is a very large and nicely decorated restaurant with excellent food. Yet, on the evening we were there, there were only 2 tables occupied. I encourage locals to give this restaurant a try, I don't think you won't be disappointed. read more

I was expecting the somewhat stereotypical Asian Restraunt type place but was pleasantly surprised by the nice decor, the layout & ambiance, the good menu selection, food quality & taste. The speed in which we received our drinks could've been slightly faster but not so bad to warrant a ding in the number of stars given in this review. I love walking/driving by on Main Street and seeing Thairiffic open with its wonderful decor and ambience. I think it's a great addition to the neighborhood--something that had been missing prior to its existence. I've only had the pad thai, which I recommend, so I can't comment on the other selections.
