Krab Rangoon
Jason D.

It was time for a chill night at home and we picked up some good Thai food. This was the first time I've had this place and friend wanted me to try it out. And it did not disappoint. She stopped and picked it up and I'm guessing the service and place was good and clean. But I can not comment on that lol. We started out with the krab Rangoon, very tasty. Have not had them that little before. She got the pad Thai with beef and I got the pad Thai with shrimp. Both of us got the medium spice and I will say that hers had more of a punch than mine but both were very tasty.

The food, service and ambiance are perfect for any occasion. We ordered the steam rolls. They were very crispy and the sauce you dip are very sweet. The beer is four dollars for an ultra and a Bud Light very reasonable.

This is my favorite Thai place in the north Orlando area and their lunch special is unbeatable! For $11 you get a full meal of delicious pad Thai. I loved that it wasn't dry as some places make theirs. I also got the crab goons, red curry, summer rolls and Thai tea and all was great! The service was also very fast. The inside is nice as well for a date or business lunch.

We sat outside and it had good ventilation with ceiling fans going on. Everything was very comfortable! The food; we ordered the Thai basil roasted duck, yum squid salad; and the shrimp pad Thai! We loved every single dish! Service was quick, courteous, easy going. We will Def be back when we are in the area!

Sticky Rice With Ice Cream and the Kanom Tuay

Food: The food was delicious! The samosas were good, probably not something I'd reorder often, but still tasty. The Bangkok Chicken was great; the sauce complimented the crispy texture really well, which I appreciated. The Pad Thai was also delicious, the sauce wasn't overwhelming like at other places. For dessert, we had the Sticky Rice with Ice Cream and the Kanom Tuay both were amazing! Not overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. Service: Service was okay. The staff weren't particularly friendly. We didn't feel especially welcome when we arrived, so we opted to sit outside. They weren't rude, just not very inviting. Ambiance: The vibe is super relaxed. When we went in, there was no music playing, which made it feel a little awkwardly quiet another reason we chose to sit outside.

Pad Thai

The best pad Thai ever tasted in Orlando.... and this is my first time coming here!! And I'm not even kidding. I usually eat chicken but tofu tastes soooo amazing with this dish. Not super soft but nice, crispy fried and got a nice chew texture to it. The tofu literally has so much flavor. Most spots are afraid to add SAUCE but this restaurant is not afraid to do so. My new favorite place and will be back again again and again. Also AMAZING SERVICE

Tom Yum Soup

We came in for lunch and had a great experience! Service was attentive and fast. To drink, I had a Thai tea. It was perfect. For appetizers, we got the samosas and the chicken basil rolls. The samosas were flavorful and came with a sweet chili sauce. The chicken rolls were like spring rolls and came with a yummy peanut sauce. For my entree, I got the massaman curry (mild). The portion was huge and it was so sweet, rich, and filling. The curry came with a side of rice and a salad with ginger dressing. I also got a cup of Tom yum soup with shrimp which was fragrant and bright. Everything was delicious and I'll definitely come back.

Dinner for 2 $80 including tip

Fast, friendly service, a clean restaurant, and a quiet atmosphere--we loved that all the seating was in booths, which made for a more private and relaxing dining experience. We liked everything we ordered: the curry, tom yum, and tom kha were all tasty, but a bit too sweet across the board. The curry especially could've used more spices and a richer texture, as it came off a little watered down. The real winner was the Kanom Tuay coconut pudding--perfectly balanced, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness! We'll definitely be back, and next time we'll ask if dishes can be made less sweet. With a few flavor adjustments, this place could easily be a 5-star favorite.

Khao soi
Alex S.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Thailicious yet. I previously tried their crispy duck pineapple curry. This time, I got their Khao soi, which was super creamy and warm on a cool Florida winter day and definitely hit the spot. Service was prompt and the waiter was able to answer our questions about the menu.

I really liked the low lighting atmosphere and the attention to detail like the little lamps and oragami shaped napkins on each table. They also had this awesome labubu dressed in Thai clothes. Service was great (shoutout to Jan for being so friendly) Food we ate: Praram Chicken Curry: 10000/10!! I've never had it until I came here but it's now my new favorite (even more than drunken noodle). It's sweet, creamy, and nutty and it's delicious with the chicken and rice. They also add a fried sweet potato which is really good. Level hot was really good mixed with the sweet Drunken noodle: This is my favorite Thai dish and they do it right!! Very very good. Tom Kha: Very yum. Usually I like it with a bit more coconut milk, this one was strong on the lemon grass but I still loved it. Golden puffs: crab Rangoon's can never go wrong and the plum sauce was tasty. Sushi - Dynamite: Not the best but not definitely not the worst. I think I would try the shrimp tempura instead of salmon next time.

We took a drive to visit The Nine Thai restaurant since we were intrigued by their Magical Dining…read moremenu. It appeared this was the first time they have participated in Magical Dining which became more evident as the night went on. We were greeted promptly and taken to a table that had balance issues. We were going to ask to move tables as it wasn't that busy yet but then a server came and added some napkins underneath to steady the table. The interior was interesting, half bar with two TVs playing sports and then half dining room. When the server came again, we ordered our 3-course meals and my mom and I each got a Thai Iced Tea. The Teas came and they were fine, maybe less sweet than I usually like. Then, it was over 45 minutes until we got our appetizers. I could see the servers running around but either their cook staff was understaffed or the restaurant was not expecting the big turnout for Magical Dining as this point all the tables in the restaurant were full. The appetizers were good, although all 3 came out at different times. The Cigar Rolls are like chicken egg rolls served with cucumber with the insides more like a samosa. The Coconut Shrimp had lots of coconut taste and was served with plum sauce. It was another while for our entrees to come out. My parents like the What The Duck although thought it was a bit more spicy than they like. I got the Fried Chicken with Peanut Sauce since the original choice I had made on the Magical Dining site (shrimp and pineapple fried rice) wasn't in the special menu at the restaurant. The portion was huge with 2 flattened chicken breasts along with broccoli, rice and peanut sauce. It was fine when dipped the sauce although a little dry without the sauce. Another wait and then finally our desserts arrived - Mango Sticky Rice for me and my dad and Fried Crepe with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce for my mom. My mom loved hers and finished the whole thing but I found it a bit plain. The Mango Sticky Rice was great although I wished there was more coconut milk in the bottom of the plate to sop up the rice and mango. I can't blame the servers for the food delays since they were all great. I think the restaurant was just overwhelmed. One more nit pick, there didn't seem to be particular plates to serve each dish in. We saw the table next to use get the Cigar Rolls in a cute basket while ours were served on a flat black plate. This restaurant has good food but probably not worth making a long drive for like we did.

This place is amazing. Brandon took our order- he's part chef, along with his wife and his father…read morein law and his kids are back there helping as well (they're 18) so it's definitely family owned and operated. Brandon's wife's family is from Laos. The restaurant has been open about 6 years. Why did it take me so long to come here?? It was my dad's birthday. So we went to lunch and shared the papaya salad with Thai style dressing, the summer rolls with extra peanut sauce, and he had the pad Thai w shrimp and I had the pad see ew with chicken. Dad had a Diet Coke (can) and I had a Thai coffee with extra ice. Everything we ordered came packaged in to go boxes- so if you don't finish- it's ok! It's ready to take home. But since we were eating there, they gave us two plates and our choice of chopsticks/fork/spoon etc. The food is made to order but still came out fast. Two to go orders were processed while we perused the menu and another to go came in while we were eating. A table for three came in during that time as well. So this place is probably more take out than dine in. The iced coffee was as predicted - sweet. But not overly sweet. The extra ice toned it down a bit. The summer rolls were huge. He was right to suggest an extra sauce for $0.50 because my dad pretty much used the entire sauce ramekin for himself. The papaya salad was great. Lightly dressed. Lots of shredded papaya with a chunk of cabbage in it, some stewed? Tomatoes. They have the option for Laotian dressing but I am not familiar with that fermented fish sauce? So I went with the Thai style which is regular fish sauce. I probably should have been more adventurous. We got the salad mild so no spice. For my dish I went with level one spice which is mild medium. You could definitely feel the heat after you swallowed the bite. I can't imagine what level 6 spice is like! Pad see ew was delicious. Those chunky soaked noodles in brown sauce with lots of big veggies. I got the chicken. Next time I'll do double meat. I like more meat. Dad had the pad thai w shrimp medium spice. It was definitely more spicy than mine but tolerable. Again- I would get double shrimp, but that's my opinion. We did not get dessert. We thought about ordering the beef waterfall- that will be my next dish. And they had some new specials! So I will definitely be back. I love the Christian atmosphere- not overwhelming and honestly you could go in for take out and not notice it. They do a great job with the food and customer service. In fact, they gave us a discount because my dad is a veteran and he was wearing his hat which reflected his service, and the owner noticed it. He thanked my dad for his service :) the discount was not expected and was a surprise! Wow! I would recommend this place. Family owned and operated. Food is great portion and delicious, made to order. I will be back.

They package everything to-go whether you're dining in or not, which honestly makes it really easy to take your leftovers. I order the same thing almost every time because it's that good: the drunken noodles and the fried spring rolls. The food here is always incredibly fresh, and you can tell everything is being made to order. You will wait a bit if you order at the counter (because they are making everything fresh like I mentioned). If you're in a hurry, order online for pickup. If you like drunken noodles, you absolutely need to order them here. And if you've never tried drunken noodles before, this is a great place to start. You can choose your spice level with every dish, from no spice all the way up to super spicy, and their spicy is actually really spicy. I've also tried the massaman (yellow curry), which is really tasty, even at the lowest spice level it has a little kick to it. The wonton soup is good, the pad thai is good, and honestly I firmly believe that anything on the menu is probably going to be good. The portions here are HUGE - they are really generous with the amount of food you get. Service has always been super friendly as well. You order at the counter and grab your food when it's ready. Prices are really good for how much food you get, and the quality is consistently great. This spot is a constant go-to for me

Siam O-Cha is genuine, delicious, expertly prepared Thai cuisine that's worth a drive to get. I've had just about everything on the menu, but let's hit some of the heroes. The dumplings are divine, both in texture and flavor. The chicken satay is really good, but even better is the peanut sauce and Thai pickles that are served with it. They've really taken a normal chicken-on-a-stick and elevated to something culinary. Finally, the green curry. I could eat this everyday. Sometimes, I do. Yesterday, I ordered it Thai hot, and lemme tell you, that's an adventure. Super delicious and alive with spicy energy, it's really more than just food. It's a journey in spice and flavors that are a cut above the rest. And the people are as friendly and helpful as they come. It's definitely just a take-out kind of place, so don't go with the expectation of dining in. But at least you can feel comfortable knowing that for the short time you're in the place, the people serving and cooking your food are top-class. And the food itself, excellent.

I didn't notice this on the menu, but to switch from the plain noodles to the fried rice made this meal come out to close to $17. The beef is very tasty but the fried rice isn't anything special. When mixed together with the chili sauce it really was yummy. The lettuce was undressed and took up a lot of space in my to go box. There was a liquid in the container that was placed in the box, of what I can only assume to be dressing but it had a really weird flavor to me. For the most part, this was kind of wasted. That said, even though the food was overall nice, I can't imagine paying $17 + tip for it again. If I had leftovers from this that would be another story, but unfortunately I was feeling pretty "munchy" about after eating just an hour later. I agree with the other reviewers that you just don't get enough of the real stuff for the price.
