We found our favorite takeout place and it's so close to home! Thailicious is absolutely amazing! The food is so fresh and tasty. My husband and I were starving moving I to our new home and I had heard great things about this restaurant. We took advantage of wanting to try a new place and ate inside and we are so holy we did! Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. She made sure the food was coming out quickly since we were starving! We tried the sweet chili calamari and the chicken Basil roll and both were amazing. My husband loved both of them but he was extremely pleased with the calamari. So fresh. We shared the thai fried rice and chicken pad thai. When I tell you the food came out stemming I'm not joking. That should tell you how fresh this food was. It was all so tasty. The rice was fluffy and so flavorful. Everything on the menu sounded good so my boyfriend and I asked our waitress what she'd recommend. We took her advice & ordered the tom yum soup, khao soi, and spicy basil. All 3 dishes were amazing! The tom yum was so good, it was very light and fresh and had the perfect amount of spice. Our entrees were very generous portions but we still ate most of it because it was THAT good! My absolute favorite thai restaurant. Unfortunately nowhere else compares and I fear nowhere ever will. I always get thai hot green curry with chicken and I add mushrooms, and I also love the hot tom ka soup with chicken as well. This place always has excellent customer service, and the ambiance is romantic and peaceful. The food here is good Thai, and I usually order the chicken drunken noodles, papaya salad and pad see ew. It's quite a ways from us and a ways from i4, (and barely anything fun to do is around) but it's worth the drive and efforts. Thailicious will always be considered as a staple for me. They have good food and good service. All around a solid restaurant to eat at. We get seated rather quickly whenever I go and their service is fast. The waiters and waitresses are pretty attentive (i.e. filling our waters and catering to our needs). Their pad Thai is not necessarily the best in town, but it definitely will satisfy my craving whenever I'm in the mood for it. I just wish their pad Thai had a bit more heat to it. One thing I noticed last time I went was that their sriracha did not taste like sriracha at all. They had the huy fong foods sriracha at the table, which has been off the shelves for a long time, but they definitely put either a completely different brand of sriracha in the bottle or honestly their own mixture of it. Nonetheless I was thrown off by the flavor and wished they would either put out a new bottle from a different brand or label it as like their "house sriracha" to display more transparency. Even though I went on and on about the whole sriracha situation for a bit, take it with a grain of salt, as it really is not that deep haha! I'm just picky with my sriracha. I have been to this location a few times over a long span of time. I wasn't overly impressed the first few times and I wonder if I just hadn't ordered the right things. (To be fair, I have high expectations and Thai food is one of my favorite foods). However, I ate there last night and was very happy with the massaman curry and green curry. We ordered both "hot," which I think can make a big difference for the flavor. The massaman curry was thick but the green curry was thin. I have been going to this Thai restaurant for years and it remains my all-time favorite. The seasoning they use in their dishes is top-notch and really enhances the flavors. I also love that they offer appetizers during happy hour every day from 4-6. The indoor dining area is on the smaller side so it fills up quickly. There is also outdoor seating, again on the smaller side. Waited about 15 mins then we were seated. We ordered a wonton soup, fried chicken wontons, roasted duck with basil sauce, Bangkok chicken and a side egg fried rice. The food was so flavorful, even the white rice...I could eat that by itself. The duck was tender on the inside and the skin was crispy and light on the outside. Basil sauce is a perfect balance between sweet and savory, not too overpowering but so aromatic. Downtown Orlando was extremely busy for whatever reason so we started heading north and found Thailicious with 1.2k reviews on Google. Thailicious was full, but no wait needed. Pretty value as the portions were on the larger size for what I usually receive in Thai restaurants. We ordered the drunken noodles with pork (medium) and spicy basil chicken (hot). Their heat level is pretty mild so nothing was overly spicy for us. Plating was nice and detailed. I thought the drunken noodles were flavorful but the dish was too sweet for my taste. There's a lot of vegetables that I don't usually receive in this dish such as bean sprouts and zucchini, but they were a nice addition. My husband liked the spicy basil and thought it was good. I also ordered a Thai tea which tasted quite watered down, but it was not overly sweet. Overall, meal was good but I like my dishes more on the savory side rather than sweet. read more

I came into town for the weekend and got the pad Thai twice when I was there. So delicious. I got pad thai with tofu, no bean sprouts, no fish sauce and medium spice. If you are vegetarian make sure you get it without the fish sauce, some places will mention when you order with tofu what else isn't vegan/vegetarian to confirm but this place didn't when I ordered on the phone. It's a little sweeter than other pad Thais I've had so if you like it really spicy without a super sweet flavor you could level up your spice one from what you're used too. We have to say we have loved this place for a long time, but last night was definitely a bad experience. We can't comment on the food because we never got it. We sat on the patio which had 1 other couple enjoying the evyanf we ordered shortly thereafter. we received our drinks and appetizers in a relatively short time. Then the patio quickly filled up. approximately 8 tables. Mind you we have already ordered. As we sat patiently waiting for the main course the other tables began to receive their appetizers and drinks. Then they one by one each table began to receive their main dishes. As we continued to hear from the waitress "it's coming right out". We had enough I went in flagged our waitress and asked how to cancel the order. An hour was too long to wait as others enjoyed their dinner. She never said anything to the affect, let me check once more or im so sorry, nothing. The food is a 5! Fresh, tasty and enormous portions! We ordered the yellow curry chicken, Bangkok chicken, drunken noodles with tofu and chicken pad Thai... we went with friends and asked for it to served family style so we can all share... when I tell you the portions were enormous I am not kidding! 4 hungry adults ate and took home enough leftovers for another meal! All of the dishes were presented well and tasted great! Now the cleanliness... I'm going to give it a 3.5/4... the staff were all wearing masks and the table had clearly been wiped down as it was still wet when we sat (hoping it was with disinfectant). The menus however were super sticky and not disposable and the bathroom could have used a good cleaning. Overall will I go back... ABSOLUTELY! I ordered online and chose our pick up time since we were over an hour away. I had to ask for silverware as it was not provided. My husband and I had the salmon and red snapper. This is my favorite Thai spot - in fact, I am surprised that they don't have a line wrapped around their building for how delicious the food is. You can tell they put so much love into their dishes - the flavor and quality is out of this world. Pricing to me is fair and reasonable for the quality, portions, and flavor. The service is always good, and the food comes out extremely quick. My favorite dish is the pad kee mao and the summer rolls. I also tried the Tom Kaa and I wish I could drink that broth every day. Thailicious has a horrible name, but it offers in my opinion the best Thai food in the Orlando area. It is so good that I travel a bit over a half hour each way from my home in East Orlando to Longwood to get my Thai food fix. I think it also bears mentioning that I pass a multitude of thai restaurants en route to this incredible restaurant. My go to dish at this restaurant is their drunken noodles. Pork is my usual protein and I get it Thai hot. This dish is the kind of food that will haunt your sleep and will make an hour plus round trip make complete sense when selecting a place to dine. Service here is always very good and the prices are very competitive. If you have not had the opportunity to try here, I strongly recommend a visit. After a day of Sunday shopping, we decided on Thai food. After researching a few places where were were and on our ride home, we found a lot of the Thai restaurants were closed on Sunday. Let me say Thank you to those places because we went out of our way to Thailicious and absolutely loved it. This was a fairly small restaurant that wasn't too crowded on a late afternoon. The staff was attentive and were cleaning tables with cleaner after each dining party left. The crispy tofu appetizer for $5 was a pretty good pile of tofu. It was crispy and not overly flavorful on its own, but the dipping sauce gave it what it needed. The yellow curry tofu was just the right spice and had huge pieces of potato and tofu. The Spicy Basil Eggplant with Tofu was out of this world outstanding. When they put basil in the name, they delivered with basil in the dish! Too many times I order a basil dish and get not basil flavor. The only way to make it any better would be having Toni Basil herself singing "Hey Mickey" while I devoured it. It had a ton of flavor, nice amounts of tofu and veggies, and delicious colorful eggplant. Beautiful, delicious, and healthy. Even the brown rice ($2 upcharge) was super high quality rice. We sat outside in the covered porch area. It was a slow afternoon as far as sit-down, but the restaurant seems to run a brisk business with carry-out, so they were super busy in that area. The traffic was kind of busy outside, so it wasn't as enjoyable as, say, my local standards like General Public House or Senor Tequila, but still a very nice visit. The staff was pleasant and the food was good and served beautifully as well. I had the summer rolls and the papaya salad with shrimp and my friend had the red curry.
