Fabulous Thai spot here, folks! Very unassuming from the exterior but they let their food do the talking. Stopped by here after a visit to Grand Asia Market to grab lunch. They're located in the same vicinity right across the parking lot. During this time, they only have takeout option available. You can check out the dishes available on their website. So we called in and ordered their chicken pad see ew and chicken Thai villa noodles for 11.95 each. During the weekends, you can only order from their dinner menu even for lunch. Taste wise, both dishes were absolutely delicious. I've had quite a few Thai in the triangle and this place will rank among the top for me. Both had sweet soy sauce flavor melded perfectly with wok hei that you only find in Asian restaurants and gives the dishes the perfect finish. The Thai villa noodles had more of a basil and garlic hint to it. The menu listed the Thai villa noodles as spicy but I didn't really taste any spiciness to it - I'm sure it would have made the dish even more dynamite. Next time I'll be sure to have them make it extra extra spicy. Overall, great joint to hit up for your Thai fix. Don't let the plain vanilla outside of the restaurant fool you. This place is a hidden gem and they got the flavors to prove it! read more

The pad see ew was delicious but the chicken was dry- think we will order tofu next go around. Personally I could have increased the spice level to Thai hot but my partner felt it was perfect. The catfish was pretty good, the batter is slightly thick but it was cooked well. The portion was surprisingly small. I would suggest ordering a side dish if you opt for this as your entree. These are my thoughts and observations. - The waitresses are attentive and knowledgeable. - The spicy menu items are clearly marked. - The milk tea is amazing. - We waited 30 minutes for our food. - I enjoyed my pad thai and they give you huge portions. I was hesitant to try this place because it was in a sketchy location and the reviews were just ok. I decided to give it a go because I was looking for a good Thai place nearby. I got take out and was pleasantly surprised and I've been back multiple times! So far I have tried: Thai villa noodles(basically drunken noodles), pad Thai, and Tom yum and maybe will venture out more! All were really flavorful and reasonably priced. When I picked up my order, the inside of the restaurant had a weird smell. Otherwise it was just like a lot of other hole in the walls that serve good food. There were a couple people eating and I didn't have to wait very long. I've also gone to pick up for lunch and it was more crowded. Easy to pay because they have IPad/Square! Someone highly recommended this place. We got takeout to bring to the Arts Museum for a concert. Put it upright into the cooler. Luckily it was in a plastic bag. We asked twice for extra hot sauce which we did not get. The green curry was on its side and all spilled out. We managed to gush it back in the container from the bag. The basil rolls were half rolled and lettuce went everywhere. There wasn't any basil either and one small piece of shrimp in each one. The sauce was tasty. The pad see ew taster burned and wasn't even remotely hot. That sauce would have helped. Will not be back. read more

Nice find! I was in the mood for Thai so I looked at what was close by...Thai Villa was 8 min drive. Very happy I gave this unassuming restaurant a try. The Tom Kha soup was very good and the Pad See Ew was amazing. I asked for Med spice and it was a bit on the weak side of medium but you can always add spice but it's hard as hell to take it out! I'm ashamed that I've been driving past on my trips to and from Grand Asia for 15 years, but never stopped in. A busy counter line at Grand Asia is what lead us to stopping in as a family of 3 needing a quick place to grab a meal with a hungry toddler. Service couldn't be nicer and welcoming, food came out quickly, and we loved the no frills just good vibes atmosphere. Crispy spring rolls were crispy, salads all had lots of lime juice, and chicken was the most tender we've ever had in your typical Thai restaurant.
