Super Thai place. On the roads d stopped here for quick dinner. So glad we did. The shrimp Shu Mai, combo fried rice and drunken noodles...wouldn't order the noodles again but everything else was great. Fast service, in and out in 45 minutes. Super friendly peeps and the ambiance is quiet and romantic. Great for date night read more

Some of the blandest Thai food and most indifferent service I've experienced. It was moderately busy when we got there, and no one who walked in was greeted or acknowledged for several minutes, which happened during our entire time there. It took a long time to get water, menus, and no one checked on us after the food arrived. The glass noodles desperately needed spice- I asked for "medium" and that was apparently interpreted as "zero". The fresh spring rolls were embarrassing, with not much more than iceberg lettuce. I'm giving them some credit for the curry, which actually did have spice and my husband described as acceptable. The satay sauce had some kick, which I used to make my noodles more edible. It seems like the high reviews are a function of the area lacking other Thai options, and locals accepting indifferent service from restaurants. Just know it's not because of good food or service. read more

I didn't get any pictures unfortunately... But I ordered Cashew Chicken and Tom Kha with no meat.. The Tom Kha was really good, flavorful, little limey, lemongrassy, and coconutty. I always ask for extra onions and no mushrooms. It came piping hot, as I ordered from DoorDash. I would definitely get again. And you can choose either steamed white rice or fried rice. I got white rice. Cashew Stir-Fry was really good, but to me it was a mix of Thai and Chinese. The sauce was good, I got extra onions of course and extra cashews. It had water chestnuts and baby corn in it. I've never had it like that in Thai cuisine, I don't mind it, but I have had it in Chinese Cashew chicken. But maybe it's because it's a labeled as stir fry... ? You can choose white rice or fried rice. I decided to go with fried rice.. I won't be doing that again. It just wasn't good and tasted flavorless and kind of mushy. I'll stick with steamed rice. I also ordered some Hot Tea and Thai Tea.. Both very good. I'll definitely try something else another time. read more

The food was good but nothing different from local Chinese. Maybe it was what we ordered. I dunno. Portions were very generous though. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. The location is very appealing with subtle decor and comfortable seating. We will give ThaiThai another run and hope for the best. read more

Service was absolutely terrible. We go to Thai restaurants all the time, but have no interest in returning. The food was mediocre, but the server ignored us completely. Too many places to try to put up with that. read more

Thai Thai - Mediocre Drunken Noodle - Thai Near Me - Rapid City, South Dakota

The worst spring rolls I've ever had. A thin dry piece of pork with bag mix type salad shreds. 2 rolls about $8.00 - pass! We asked for mild spice on chicken and vegetable. So spicy I could not eat. When server asked how food was, I shared honest opinion and she stated 'well, that's how we make it'. We had asked her what to order that wouldn't be hot spicy. One and done at this place. I've eaten at many Thai restaurants but this is mediocre at best. read more

I placed an order online for delivery of pad Thai. There was no place on the menu where I could request the level of spice. I called the restaurant and talked to one of the servers and she said she could not take the spice level over the phone and I would have to go back online. There is no place online to request the spice level. I would not recommend this restaurant because it is not very accommodating. read more

Service was great- food disappointing. I had Pad Thai and would not order again. Needed something to give it more flavor.

Great food and service! I like coming here for takeout and eating in. The green curry is so good and keeps me fed for a few meals. read more

In 2025, they've been open 5 years, and about a year under new ownership. We were only passing by, so can't compare their food with the original owners' but what we had was good, though not the best place Thai place I've been to (I've been to many, including in Thailand). Our server was very nice and accommodating. We were able to use Apple Pay for payment. Panang Curry - chicken This was our best dish. So yummy! A little salty to eat on its own, but perfect with the rice. Ask for white rice. This would not go well with fried rice. Drunken Noodle - Shrimp The shrimp in this dish was legit. Big and firm and juicy. I loved it. The noodles were done just right. We asked for spicy, but it wasn't spicy. And we were Asian, so i thought they would make it more spicy lol. More sweet than i care for. Laab - beef This was my least favorite. Again, we asked for spicy, but there was no spicy here. Comes with sticky rice wrapped in foil (not sure why not in a bowl, but ok), and a wedge of iceberg lettuce. The flavors just weren't popping as the laab I'm used to having, though. Overall, average Thai place, ok for stopping over, though probably not my go-to if I lived nearby. read more

Very good! I had the Pad See ew and my husband had the Pad Thai. It's been a long time since we both had Thai food, but it was a great choice to go and try. The pad Thai is amazing! Great service too. I would come back again If ever back to SD. read more

I stopped here for takeout when I was visiting Rapid City for a conference. I ordered Pad See Ew with chicken. The staff was really friendly when I arrived and the order was complete shortly after I got in. The food was very delicious and it was a good portion size for dinner. I would recommend the space if you are in town. read more

Anemic appearing, tasteless food. Probably some of the worst Thai food I've had. Rarely, decent, but radically inconsistent. Only reason for its survival is a paucity of options in this "city." Truly depressing. read more

Amazing! We stopped here for lunch after flying into rapid city. Service was fantastic. We were immediately seated and they took our order quickly. The food came out impressively fast and it was all so tasty. The crispy pork spring rolls were delicious. So crispy with a great taste. The pork gyoza were also delicious. Such a nice crisp and great filling. Delicious really is the word here. The pad Thai was wonderful. The shrimp was detailed (who actually wants the tail on there!?) and the flavor was impressive. We actually ended up going here again the next day and it was just as delicious both days. I got mild spice one day and medium the other for the pad Thai and I quite enjoyed both. 10/10 recommend. Definitely go here if you're in the area. read more

We ordered Pad Thai. It was very good! The place was very popular with good food and good service. I would go again!

Our first time here on a Sunday, and we were quick to het service and a table. This was not the best thai food we have had, the beef salad was a but crude and dry, the panang curry was great but the massaman curry had a tad to much ginger flavor, as i said not a bad meal but also not the best. read more

This place was great! The service was fast and friendly and the food was topnotch! We started with pork gyoza (potstickers) appetizers. Next we shared yellow curry with chicken, fried rice and Drunken Noodles with pork. All delicious! I forgot to take a picture of the appetizer and halfway ate the yellow curry before I remembered to snap a picture! I highly recommend this place! read more

Thai Thai Wow. You actually have a good Thai restaurant here! Wow. Yeah, I gave them the typical test. They passed the flavor test. So, enjoy. People of SD you have a good Thai restaurant in town. I'm from Michigan and our Thai is very good in Michigan. Let's say authentic Thai owners control all Thai restaurants in Michigan. Even the old Thai folks in Michigan can all cook perfect Thai food. To them it's their own food. FYI, the test? Simple. They must cook Gangai and pad Thai correctly and perfectly. This place passed with flying colors. Highly recommended read more

Clean, great service and delicious. Had the drunken noodles with tofu and it was perfect.

Thai thai is one of my top go to take out places when I am not feeling in the mood to cook. It never let's me down, my favorite item on the menu is the Panang curry, I love that I am able to request the spice level. My son enjoys the chicken fried rice and my husband really likes the Thai wings. But honestly I haven't had anything bad from the menu. We will definetly continue to be repeat customers. read more

Thai Thai in Rapid City, SD is top shelf Thai food! The atmosphere is great. The service is excellent, and the food is authentic. We had the Pad Thai with chicken and the Thai Thai fried rice with chicken. Only went "hot" on spice not knowing what the degree of "hotness" might be, and it was about right. We also got the veggie and pork eqq rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious. My first time eating here, but I have eaten many meals in Thailand, and would definitely come back here. I highly recommend it. read more

Low ambience, but loved the food. We had massamang curry and tofu pad Thai. Nice big, fresh veggies in curry. Tofu was large, stir fried pieces which gave a crunchy outside and creamy inside. Portions were fair. read more

Best food since I moved to South Dakota from Phoenix! Amazing service too! We had the pad Thai, crab cheese, and gyozas. Yummmmmm

Food We ordered glass noodle with shrimp and mixed vegetables with beef and a pink drink. All delicious, the quality of beef was good and lean. And they put a lot of shrimp. The pink drink is good. Service They took our orders 15 min later and our food arrived 25 min later. But we were warned even before we got seated that it was a busy night since it was the Fourth of July weekend. Ambiance Casual. They have TV that plays about Bangkok. read more

Good Thai food for Rapid City. It's not the best Thai food I've ever had but the portions were large and served hot. The pad see ew with chicken was ok-a little spicy even though I order it mild and not a ton of sauce. The veggies in it were cooked very well! The chicken pad Thai was good! The food took a little long to prepare as they messed up the order but everyone working there was friendly! read more

Nice little restaurant with flavorful Thai. Heat levels for all. Chicken and broccoli with fresh veggies and fried rice filled my craving. Food was pretty good. My Massaman curry was good despite not having pineapple in it. Yellow curry was ok. Stir fried tofu vegetables ok. Pad See Ew was a bit dry. Our group was quite bothered with $2.99 for extra rice, appx 1 cup. Seriously??? As an Asian Restaurant the rice should be complimentary especially when an average entrée is $17.00 The waitress said their rice was more expensive because they serve Jasmine Rice. As a Thai restaurant, the rice is supposed to Jasmine... Sheez!!! 50 lbs of Jasmine is appx $49.00 - converted to 150 cups of cooked. Disappointing experience and embarrassed as an Asian American diner very familiar with all aspects of Asian dining, especially Thai. read more

Food was lacking all around. If you ever ventured around, you'll find yourself struggling to see quality in the food. 2/5 at best. Pad Thai was served with a hot iron skillet which made the noodles a sticky mess. Lacked all the expected Thai taste. It was just a complete failure. Needs to be sweet, salty, and a hint of spice. Laab was so disappointing with no laab seasoning present. Lacked all depth in flavor. The lettuce offered was so skinny that you can't even use it to scoop the food to eat that it just becomes plating. The server said that it might be spicy but no spice in sight. When you're southeast Asian, I expected more hint of spice. Even hot Cheetos is ten times spicier. The green curry was actually ok but lack some elements of boldness making it an ok dish. They need to fry the ingredients under high heat before tossing the broth and coconut milk. The sticky rice was so mushy and I can tell that it was never cooked the traditional way with the original sticky rice weave basket. Also, the serving was so small that it was the size of two chicken nuggets. The Thai Thai beef stir fry was a complete failure and bland. Lacked all the Thai flavors. Overall, if you're a big Thai foodie and looking for the authentic taste of Thai food, skip this place. read more

Heard about this place so decided to check it out. We pulled up and the parking lot is packed! The Parking lot is small and tight spaces so if you have a bigger truck, recommend parking elsewhere. It was a seat yourself restaurant. The 2 waitresses were working all the tables as fast as they could. Both were extremely friendly and accommodating, We got drinks and an appetizer, the appetizer came out really fast. We tried the Gyoza and the Fried spring rolls both with pork. They were both very enjoyable. My husband got the chicken friend rice and I got the chicken pad Thai. Big portions. They have no spice, light, medium, hot, and Thai hot spice levels. Make sure if you want a different spice level you clarify, they came with no-spice automatically. I had to ask for medium spice. I like spice food. The medium was not too spice. Very tolerable! It did take a while to get the main courses as they are cooked fresh and it was busy on a Friday night! We will be back. read more
